We tried to do business with Favinger. Leigha's initial response was prompt and upbeat, but inaccurate in that she gave me a rough estimate for a standard toilet when I had specified a macerating version. I called Favinger and was told she was at lunch but would call later.

While waiting, I took pictures of the current unit and sent them to her, along with a message stating I'd be out after 3 PM. I returned home to a Yelp message stating she had tried to call, but "" was unable to leave a voicemail"". My phone showed no missed calls, but she stated she'd call me the next morning.

The next business day came and went with no contact. That evening, I sent a terse Yelp message stating she had mis-quoted initially, and for 2 subsequent days I saw no contact. She emailed back that my phone was ""not accepting calls"" possibly due to their VOIP phone system. I replied with a restated phone number.

Jeremy the operations manager joined in stating they would not do business with me because of my email critical of the lack of communication. I get it, but if they think there is a phone issue, they could have:
1. Used a cell phone or any non VOIP line
2. Texted me
3. Noted on Yelp after the full day of no reply that they had attempted, and could I call them

I'm disappointed. Favinger was my preferred choice, but ineffective communication led to a failed relationship. Still looking.

Had them out for a water heater installation. The old unit was 20 years past due for replacement, and I was pleasantly surprised with the service charge. The cost of the unit was pretty steep, but that's life. They installed a new expansion tank overflow and were able to keep the old pan which saved me a few bucks.would recommend!

I wanted to update my review. As I said in my last review, the people are responsive and proficient but I had an issue with overpricing. It turns out it was an honest mistake and the manager took care of it. We all have new employees and lots of training going on, so I totally understand. I couldn't figure out how to update or remove the last 3 star so here's the 5 star they deserve!

Favinger Plumbing staff (Leah) and plumbers (Kyle and Cody) provided great patient and courteous service with the replacement of an old toilet in my father's home with a new comfort height one. I appreciated being able to discuss what was needed, obtain options, be given a solid estimates and time to decide based upon our needs. They were friendly, professional, and left everything perfectly clean. They introduced themselves upon arrival and let us know when it was going to be briefly noisy. Caring management too (Jeremy)! By far the best recommendation is how happy my father is with his new highly functional, strong flushing toilet and the respectful service received. Now he wonders why he put it off so long!

During the recent cold snap, my partner and I were some of the unlucky folks whose pipes froze. Favinger was very responsive on the phone, despite the high volume of calls, and got someone out as soon as they could.

Ryan and Aaron were our plumbers and they did a fantastic job fixing our pipes. They kept us informed throughout the process of what they were doing and asked for our permission before doing anything we hadn't previously discussed. They were very thorough and professional, and they did a great job of explaining the problems and solutions. They taught us how to mitigate the pipes freezing in the future as well (cover up the crawlspace vents and leave the faucets dripping).

In the end we had six breaks; it's been nearly two weeks and we haven't had any trouble since. The cost was extremely reasonable for the number of issues we had. We highly recommend Favinger Plumbing!

Suddenly our toilets back up and both showers were disgusting. It was Friday @ 2:00 & we had a house full of company. I'm suddenly in panic mode. Called Favinger & the lady answering the phone, answered ""Hello."" Sounding totally put out. Asked if this was Favingers & she said yes. Told her what happened & she started snickering, saying they were a week booked out. Click. If you work for a company, the majority of peoples first interaction is w/ those on the phone. That lady should be fired

Our toilet flooded and sewage was backing up into the shower on a Saturday afternoon. We called a couple of plumbers and one of them answered but said they had a lot of calls ahead of us and recommended a couple of other plumbers, including Favinger. We called and left messages at Favinger and another plumber, but Favinger called us back within the hour and arrived within a couple of hours even though they had other calls to attend to. They folded us in to the workload and we were very grateful. They cleaned out our main sewage line and let us see into the pipe with the camera snake. It cost $663, including the $100 emergency fee that we were glad to pay. Not cheap, but not too much, according to the national average for this service. Affable guys who came through for us in a crisis.
