Have used them in the past and were satisfied.
This morning leaves us a bit distressed...

The Thursday prior we made an appt for them to come out Monday.
They confirmed that they could have someone there between 8-10:00
So far- perfect...
9:15 my wife calls to verify and was told that they left us a message and since we didn't respond they took us off the schedule.
What's the point of making an appointment with them ?
How many times do you need to confirm something ?
She took a half day off from work just to hear this? Now it looks like she will need to take the whole day! She also said the girl on the phone was quite condescending and rude...
Not real happy...
Ok- It's several hours later...
Based on my wifes input...I retract my 3 star review and change to 5.
They showed up and were polite and quick to fix...
Nobody's perfect right ?

Bummed to have a poor experience with Favinger.

I called Favinger to have a new kitchen faucet installed in my house. I asked how much it would cost, the person on the telephone would not give me a price. She said it would be $40 to have a plumber show up.

On the appointed day the plumber shows up, takes a look at the existing faucet. A couple minutes later he gives me a price, $280+ to install this faucet (not including the faucet). I asked how long is this going to take? What is the hourly? He wouldn't provide me either answer. Here is why.

Favinger is a flat rate shop. Flat Rate is a pricing method that assigns a flat price for a procedure no matter the variables. The other part of this is that the lady I talked to knew this, she new they were a flat rate shop and I told her what I needed done. So she could have given me a range for new faucet installs. But she didn't even though I asked.

So this turns into a way to 1) make a gross profit on a fairly simple job or 2) get $40 out of me for 5 minutes of time.

I ended up putting in the faucet myself. It took me 50 minutes and I have never done this before.

Favinger Plumbing installed a very large cast iron sink in my kitchen for me this summer. They took the time to discuss everything involved before hand including schematics and drywall instructions for the contractors.
The sink looks amazing, the exposed pipes are very pretty, and all works well.

Excellent service! I have been using Favinger for a couple of years now where I work and they have always been very profesional and they get the job done. Just this past weekend I had them come out on an emegency call on Sunday and Josh their plumber was curtious, professional and thorough. Thank you so much!

Didn't show up today. I scheduled an appointment to repair my main sewer line after Favinger cleared a clog and found that the sewer line had broken. The appointment was for an arrival time between 8:00am and 10:00am. At 8:15 I received a call saying the plumber was doing a bid but would still be on time. At 10:45 the plumber had not arrived. I called the office and was given no explanation or apology. At that point in the day it was unlikely they would be able to finish the work that day so I called and told them not to bother. Very unprofessional.

Super friendly, honest people working for Favinger Plumbing. I called them because my sump pump wasn't working and they sent two employees out to fix it. The pump had gotten unplugged under the house and when they reconnected it it worked. They wrote up a bid to replace it (just in case) so that I would know the cost for the pump and service time and it was very reasonable.

So professional and pleasant to work with. Called with an issue on my rental property, they were out within an hour or two (sooner than they said they could) and Nick and his associate knew exactly how to handle the issue. Got a call within 40 minutes or so, that the issue had been fixed! It was an all around great experience. Would highly recommend and definitely use again. Thank you Favinger!
