The drain grate covering the drain from our home to the street had raw sewage and water flowing from it early Friday morning. I called several companies at 7:15am and either received answering machines or were told that someone would have to call me back. Fast Response was one of the numbers I called, but I didn't leave a message in my desperation to talk to a live person. However, Joe, from Fast Response, called me back saying that he was sorry he missed my call. Then he proceeded to advise me that because my problem was outside of the house, that I could call 311 and they would come out and fix it. He even told me that the city will say it is a 24 hour service time, but that they usually come out quickly. By 11am, 311 had come and gone - fixing the problem and cleaning up the sidewalk.

This is my first Yelp review because I feel compelled to let people know how genuinely helpful and concerned Joe was about my plumbing/rooter problem and wanting me to get it fixed without making any $ from the advice. No other person I talked to offered the 311 tip. If I have any future plumbing needs, I will definitely be calling this 5 star rated company.

I was anxious about calling a plumber, but after reading the reviews for Fast Response, I gave it a go. I had a shower that was retiled and needed help reinstalling the shower fixture - when my tile guy tried, it was leaking from the cold water side.

Like a pro (with a sense of humor), they disconnected the shower fixture, checked the connections and were able to hook it up correctly. Boom! No more leak and I can use my newly tiled shower.

In the end, a house call, two guys (who clearly know what they are doing), and the peace of mind that the job was done right cost me $175 - an incredibly fair price to pay. Thank you!!!

Joe of Fast Response is honest and funny. What more can you ask for besides being efficient. We thought we had a bathtub fixture leak. After Joe inspected he said the fixture is not causing the problem it's the construction causing the leak. Joe refused money for coming out to our home. He also gave us a referral for a contractor who is reliable. Highly recommended!!!

Drive down time and was very professional. Even warranted the clogged toilet for 30 days. Where I gonna find that?

I realized my toilet was leaking and had been for a while (I was in denial, yes). I called Fast Response and got a quick reply. Unfortunately, they weren't available until the next day, but that's still not anything to sneeze at. In the mean time, my ex came over and fixed the toilet, but Fast Response came out and unclogged my sink! The plumber was quick, efficient, and pleasant! I will definitely use you guys again.

Just like all the other reviewers, Fast Response deserves 5* and more! I had toilet delivered that was broken. Billy from Fast Response jumped in to call a supplier in SF he knew. He found the same toilet that cost $100 less and he picked it up so I didn't have to coordinate another delivery. Not only did he install the toilet but moved things around so he could install the sink the same day. This is a great plumbing company (kudos to Billy) and I enthusiastically recommend them for going above and beyond in customer service.

Our garbage disposal backed up and wouldn't run. Joe came right on time and fixed it in under 5 minutes! We are so thankful for him coming and fixing it so quickly. Joe and Ian were very professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. We will absolutely use Fast Response next time we have a plumbing problem!

During the Christmas holidays I was outside and heard water rushing under our house whenever the toilet flushed. Obviously that was not supposed to happen. I called a few companies to take a look, and Fast Response was extremely professional, prompt, and reasonable, and they came out to check on this during a very busy time for everyone. They fixed the issue a few days later and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

I had a clogged drain. I got an appointment for the same day. Billy and Ian showed up on time. They found the location of the problem quickly, and took an extra step to make sure there was no doubt by checking for blockage below the spot they found, as well. They snaked the drain, confirmed everything was working, and cleaned up completely. Would definitely call them again.

The Sunday evening after Xmas I noticed that the hot water in my apartment building was completely out. I checked on the hot water heater and instantly saw that it was leaking and broken. I called our buildings regular plumber, but the soonest they could be here to fix the problem would be THURSDAY, because all the plumbing warehouses in the city are closed until the New Year. There was no way my tenants would be able to wait till then.

I called several other hot water heater services and both had the same answer, that all the warehouses were closed.

I finally called Fast Response Plumbing and Rooter and they told me that they could possibly help that day. They would give me an estimate that day between 9-11am, and got to my apartment at 9am. They checked out the situation and said although it wouldn't be easy to get the new water heater and parts, they would be able to get it done that day. They gave me a good price up front and came back and installed it the same day.

These guys are great professionals, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. They were on time and incredibly efficient. I definitely would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.
