I'm sorry, I just saw this reply so I feel the need to respond. You absolutely were late. The first appointment 2 1/2 hours. I don't know why you're saying you were not and you're saying you did not have our number. Well we got your number and my husband personally called and spoke to you. You had our number when my husband had to call you to let you know they did not show up, you were supposed to check into it and call us back which you absolutely absolutely did not . We spoke to your guy when he got there. He told us a different story You told us someone was having a baby so please don't deflect, when you choose to lie, you must keep it straight. We also heard from another customer that this also happened to them so please don't try to put it on the customer like you did to us. You made every excuse in the book why it wasn't your fault.

I had a small issue that seemed like it could be catastrophic. Our plumber Jorge was knowledgeable, polite, friendly and reassuring. He was professional, and the kinda guy you wanted to hang out with. In fact every plumber we've had sent out through Family Plumbing over the years carries these same attributes.
Highly recommend, wouldn't use anyone else! Family Plumbing is the right answer. Every time.

What happens when a home warranty company contracts with a plumbing company to fix an insured's plumbing problem? They often send out hacks in order to save an insurance buck. And inevitably in such cases a great company - one that is fair, honest, highly skilled - has to be contracted by the owner of the home to fix what the hacks couldn't or wouldn't.

Enter Family Plumbing & Rooter (Costa Mesa). On a recommendation from the highly esteemed, renowned owner of Premiere Builders and Construction, Inc. (Newport Beach), I contracted with Family Plumbing & Rooter. Brilliant recommendation. From the moment of speaking with Family Plumbing's owners, to their pleasant and professionally attired two-man plumbing crew (Jorge and Raul) showing up on schedule, this company resolved to fix the plumbing issue on-time, at a very fair price, and with such quality, alacrity, and precision as to ensure the problem will not re-appear any time soon. The professionalism demonstrated by Jorge and Raul, specifically their regular communication with me, their teamwork, their evident skill level, their care for my property, and the very careful cleanup, was immensely gratifying to witness. In fact, it helped to restore my faith in licensed, hard-working tradesmen, which had been shaken by the hacks (my opinion backed up by hard facts) that First American Home Warranty had originally sent out.

I would urge ALL of my fellow Orange County citizens with property to seriously consider contracting with Family Plumbing & Rooter for their simple or complex plumbing needs. Why? Skill, integrity, and value. I know when I encounter a firm with integrity because I studied them for a living in higher ed. One 'sees' it in their people, in whom the firm hires (read Jim Collins' work, From Good to Great). This is a great Orange County company, which invests in its employees and does not break faith with its customers and clients. Bravo Emmett and Sabrina!

We have an older home and have used 7 different plumbers over the years. Family Plumbing & Rooter are the best. Emmett the owner has good training for staff, strong business practices and stands by his work/material. We had our a sewer line back up flooding inside. Family was low bidder and had a established record of completing difficult projects. Emmet personally monitored our sewer line after this repair and noted an intrusion and fixed it under warranty. After using Family for bathroom, kitchen and sewer repairs we feel very confident about them . They do good work at competitive prices and we recommend Family & Rooter Company.
