HOME OWNERS BEWARE!! Gey Up Front Quotes!!!
Refrigerator water valve repair, witnessed the entire repair work. As you can see in the picture a whole was cut maybe half the size of a shoebox, Cut a portion of the valve/pipe & solder/repaired with pipe & new valve. Took 40 minutes & charged $389 which is a discount. Repair person just says thats what the charge is without any real explanation/itemization of the cost of parts vs labor of the repair. I will seek elsewhere for Any future plumbing repairs.

This company has an outstanding group of technicians!! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Ty, Brian, Trevor, Omar, Darrell, Nick, (and Tammy for being so helpful over the phone when we called). If anyone of these professionals shows up to your doorstep for a house call, then you're in good hands. Unfortunately, my house decided to fall apart all around the same time. Every one of these technicians were informative (actually taught me some new things about my AC, water heater, and plumbing issues), they were friendly, and you can tell that they really want to help. He quickly fixed the repair and assisted me with a company to repair the damaged ceiling. I've used this company many times over the last 10 yrs. and they are very responsive to all my needs. Fixed a drainage issue with AC. Kept in touch with consistant follow up and troubleshooting another issue. Very professional and helpful. Would recommend. They were efficient and reasonable.

The technician came to our home due to the AC not cooling.
When he approached me with the diagnosis of the problem, he was very rude because I was not wearing a mask. I was about 20 feet away from him and did not have any intentions of coming any closer. I did not appreciate his attitude. He was very unprofessional.

Secondly, he informed me that the condenser unit was the problem. This essentially means that the entire AC unit needed to be replaced at a cost of approx. $7500.

The next day a different company sent out their technician and the problem was quickly resolved. He replace the capacitor and the AC was back to excellent working condition. The entire repair cost me less than $300 USD.

Please be weary of this company. Make sure to get more than one quote.

My kitchen sink was clogged, the garbage disposal was jammed, and the bathroom shower nozzle wasnt working. I was able to get all of that inspected and fixed in one visit and for a very reasonable price, compared to other companies that I looked in to. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end, from the receptionist who made my appointment to the handyman. I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

If we could give MORE stars we would. We had a water heater issue, called several companies and selected Family Plumbing - specifically because they didn't charge for an estimate - we know we NEEDED this issue RESOLVED - so WHY pay for an ESTIMATE...ON TOP of the COST - RIGHT?! - We all know these type of repairs AREN'T CHEAP!

We were given an approximate ETA (2-3 hours) which is THE NORM for similar businesses. However, we actually didn't have to wait as long as we expected and was told the tech was on his way.

AND remember these guys have OTHER customers and each repair ISN'T ALWAYS what the customers CONVEY in their intial call - HENCE the 2-3 hour window.

Our tech (Omar) arrive, listened to us, confirmed what he was given by dispatch, and addressed each and every concern we had. Omar also provided us with info and more insight on what to look for in the event there may be ""possible"" leakage (due to the brand of the water heater we purchased - these were common issues) and to look for the little things (info which he provided to us) just for the next few days - and if this was to occur they'd come right back out to assist us - other than that - the issue he repaired should be fine.

Because of Omar's work and professionalism - we will definitely use this company (should we have any other plumbing issues) and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone.

Their prices are BEYOND FAIR and basing our experience on Omar's work - they are now and will be our go to for our plumbing needs. You'd save yourself a headache AND your pocket book will thank you should you select them too - just remember their PURPLE and orange hues on their vehicles! Was recommended to these folks by another company that does carpet cleaning and other home improvements. They specifically told me to ask for Darryl. I will say that it seems I can never find an honest and fair priced plumber. That said, I had hope. Unfortunately my hopes were dashed. I initially got estimates for replacing toilets and faucets in my home. Seemed every time I called I got a different quote. One time they said $98 per fixture, another time $135 for fixture. When I spoke with Darryl he quoted $98 for the faucets, and $125 for the toilets. I said ok, I can live with that. Oh yeah, valves (angle stops) $75 each. All was going well except every time he called while he was working at the house, more things needed to be done. OK , I'll trust Darryl... Then he tells me the regulator in front of the house needs to replace and tells me he will discount all the work because I am military and having so much work done. I said ok initially, then I go check the water pressure myself with my own gauge at the front of the house and the back of the house and it is normally 65 PSI. I call Darryl and leave him a message and say I don't want you to fix the regulator because it appears to be operating as it should be. He then calls me and tells me he's not going to warranty any of the work and also I change that regulator out and he is going to reduce the military discount so that I don't get one at all because I change my mind on the regulator which was quoted at $275 to replace. I thought this was ridiculous and obviously he was trying to sell me more than I needed in order to make another dollar. I called his boss and he said he will come out and do the things he agreed to do such as change out the drain plug one of the bathroom faucets and repair the dishwasher line which is what I originally hired him for as well. Then he gets there and tells me that it's going to be another hundred dollars to move the dishwasher away from the wall because it was an issue with the tile preventing it from being pulled out from under the counter. Another up charge! Every time I turned around he was trying to charge me money. I said skip it don't worry about it I've had it I will call somebody else. I called his boss and his boss agreed to only charge me the original amount we had read on without the regulator charges.
