Family Plumbing Heating and Air went out of their way to make sure we properly had the right set up. My father had his shower, water heater and all the angle stops replaced. As a matter of fact if we didnt replace the angle stops we would of ruined $18,000 in new wood flooring and Kitchen cabinets. The technician spotted a leak in the wall and it wasnt noticable until we opened up the drywall. He advised we change out the angle stops and keep it quality. I did futher research and realized that the brass over the aluminum was a better way to go. I trust theses guys and would use them for all my plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs. Showed up outside of window service window by an hour and a half. Immediately told me that installing a water softener was the worst possible thing I could do to my house and it will destroy everything within 7 years. Who knew this plumber could speak as a pinnacle of authority when hundreds of thousands of people haven't had a single problem? Could it be because they sell water filter systems? No way! Dismissed him from my house. Please either do the work you're asked to do, or leave.

I really like these guys. They installed a heatpump in our home this past summer and have been very responsive. The outside unit's compressor blew a few weeks ago and Tod came out and installed a new one. No problems, no money business. Plan to work with them on future projects.

We had a slab leak that was in our garage and was also leaking into a closet in the house. We called Family Plumbing when we realized that we couldn't fix it ourselves. They came to our house when they said they would. Rene used his leak detector to ensure that the only leak was in the garage. He then fixed the pipe in the wall and stopped the leak. He was courteous and explained what repairs would be done. When he was done, he cleaned up the area. We were very pleased with the repair and the service that we received. Highly recommended.

Excellent service.

Called with a last minute problem and boy did they respond fast. Had a representative at my home in less than an hour. He found my issue gave me several options from full replacement to a ""free"" fix. Of course since I'm all about ""free"" i went with that.

Definitely a plumbing service that reflects old school bizz ethics, in today's times, that's unheard of.

Heater went out. Two guys showed up and disassembled my heater. They pulled out a small fan mounted in a duct and said it was bad. I asked if they used a meter on it and they said they did. They said the motor was loose inside. I asked how much and they said 750.00! I said I could not afford that so they said just pay 50.00 for the troubleshooting. I wrote them a check and they walked out. I hadn't noticed they did not put my heater back together...parts everywhere. I used to be an aircraft electrician, so I know a little about electric. I plugged the motor into the wall and it ran perfectly. I called to complain and tell them not to cash that check, but I am posting here so maybe their cheating ways will put them out of business where they deserve to be.

Advertise for a free consultation and then charged $98 dollars to bring their tools inside and not use. Unprofessional.

Another situation of someone trying to sell you something you don't need! My churches AC went out and we called this company to get a quote on how much it would be to fix it. They said it would be $3500.00 to replace the unit. They ended up writing us a formal quote for $2500.00. This was to completely replace the whole ac unit sitting on the pad outside. They did mention they could fix the capacitor for $350, but indicated it could only last for a few days or maybe a month. This whole process with them seemed questionable at best.

We called a reputable sears appliance repair person to ask the same questions. He came out, ran a few tests, and told us the capacitor had failed. He said a new capacitor would run $40.00. Hmm....quite a difference between $3500.00 and $40.00. We replaced the capacitor and everything is running fine again. Please read other reviewers here for issues and you will find similar circumstances.

Moral: Read others Yelp reviews before making the phone call.
