I was given their number from a coworker that saw their truck and had a water heater replaced by them in early Dec, 2020. I had a malfunctioning water heater. They do not serve my area (Chula Vista) as they are located in Carlsbad. Robert still answered the phone and walked me through my issue and took his time to make certain that I could figure out my issue and how to get it fixed. That was a very nice and neighborly thing to do. I spent a half hour of his valuable time on the phone and I really appreciate it. A true gentleman.

Our Water heater was leaking. Neal came out and gave us an estimate. Unfortunately, there was leakage requiring water damage mitigation. They arranged for that to be done, a temporary water heater till wall work done, and then connected water heater. Neal went the extra mile. Our water heater was still working but older than ten years. A ticking bomb. Lousy delivery and recovery. Was referred to Express by a friend and am so glad. Our usual HVAC/plumbing vendor quoted an astronomical price to replace it and we were bereft. Express came through with a quality unit and fantastic service. Neil gave us the quote and quoted an arrival time and was exactly on time. After introductions and showing him the spot he explained exactly what he was going to do and asked if I had any questions. I said I didn't and left him alone. I heard the noise of installation and barely two hours later it was done. Beautifully. Invoice arrived a bit later. Easiest install contract and best experience. We noticed that our water heater was leaking on Thursday evening. I figured I would call the next day, and try and schedule some companies to come the next week. I called around and Neil picked up at 7:15 am on Friday morning. I sent a few pictures, asked about potentially switching to tankless setup (which can be a challenge for a 4,000 sf home) and eventually settled for a replacement of the heater and recirculation pump which was more than 1K cheaper. He could actually do the job same day and was at our house at 9:30. He checked a few things around our plumbing, including our water pressure and our pressure reduction valve was dead as well (which we kind of had some hints it was for a little while). Yet he had the part and was able to do the job on the spot as well. And everything was done and taking care of by 1:30 pm. Really great! and the job is really clean and well done. A little pricey but honestly for this type of service, very much worth it. Thanks Neil!

We arrived home from a trip to discover our water heater leaking. We called express water heater right around closing time hoping to catch them before they left. Earl called me back right away and walked me through gathering pictures and the model number needed to understand the job. He then called me back promptly with a quote and suggested I get some more quotes and call back if I decide to use them. They came a couple days later and installed our water heater. It ended up costing quite a bit less than the estimate. Earl followed up with us a week later to make sure any concerns we had were addressed. We are super happy with the service and the water heater.

I got a new water heater yesterday, same day. I called at about 8:30am and had hot water by about 3pm. They did a great job. All the plumbing, copper lines, hardware, valves, straps, etc, are very neat and tidy. I got several quotes and they had the best price, especially with the inclusion in an expansion tank. Super convenient communication, quotes, and billing/receipts all by email and text. Professional and friendly. I highly recommend Express to anyone.

We don't have enough good things to say about Express Water Heaters and Plumbing. Our hot water broke on a Sunday and not only were they the first people to return our call, they were available first thing Monday morning and had the cheapest quote for a replacement. Neil was 15 minutes early and worked thoroughly and efficiently and was so nice. We will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know.

I called around to get a few estimates to see what the cost would be for a new water heater (unit price, warranty, installation and haul away). Robert was very courteous on the phone and quick to provide an estimate. Express Water Heaters was not my original choice due to being slightly higher priced than another company but Robert was competitive for my business and drove a hard bargain. I was happy to take him up on his offer for many reasons. A couple hours later, Neil and Dante arrived and made quick work of installing our new water heater. Neil was even able to fix our toilet before he left. I will definitely call upon Express Water Heaters in the future for any of our plumbing needs.
