When our sewer backed up at 6:30p and there was a river of turds overflowing our shower drain and toilet I called Express Plumbing. Juan Sazo called me back within 10 minutes and was at our door 20 minutes later. He quickly identified the problem (the main), walked me thru every step and was super calm and sweet and helpful. I've got this company on speed-dial now and would absolutely recommend them for their after-hrs service.

We have an older home with lots of ongoing plumbing issues over the years, and used a number of plumbers for various cleanouts, etc. I think we've found a real ""winner"" with Express Plumbing!

Very responsive, knowledgeable, great work, good price - and the teamwork is really there from front office to service team to billing. We had a great experience with them a previous time, and called them again when we needed to replace 2 old toilets. Al was quick finding the cause of another problem we could nip now before a disastrous bigger problem later. These are the guys to call--they do it right.

They fixed our problem immediately, the only reason they didn't get 5 stars was there was a minor discrepancy in the invoice we are still working out but other than that, they were stellar! We purchased a building where Express had done some sewer line repair two months previously, we learned that the repair was not done up to code for our county. Once contacted about this there response was we did the work according to our permits , which is true. However, not to code and when offered to buy the materials their reply was still no. Poor customer service and a serious lack of responsibility

Knowledgable and courteous. I used them twice to snake out sewer and video inspection. They were late to the appointment but did call and keep me posted. Once they learned there is a larger problem that would require construction, they gave me clear options on what the repair would be. They informed me of a city of san mateo program that helps with the construction instead of trying to convince me to let them dig my driveway.

EXCELLENT service! I called them mid day cus the original plumber that I called refused to change a water filter. He was super patient and explained everything, as well as the next best thing in case the filter broke down again.

I hired this compnay to fix some plumming.This choice was a nightmare. Instead of fixing my bathroom and kitchen plumming they made a bigger mess, a mess that casued my family and I to sleep in hotelrooms for months. Because of there horrible job now I have to replace my floors and most of my futurner. And when I call to speak with the owner or the manager they are never avalible. What kind of business is this!!!!!! Even there customer service sucks. I do not recommed this company to any one please safe your money and go someother place.

Our 40 year old septic system needed to be replaced with a connection to a Town of Los Altos Hills sewer that was 1200 feet away and uphill from us. This was a major job that required complex permits, hundreds of feet of horizontal boring and installation of new electric lines and pumps. All was done carefully, rapidly, and at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the service and the minimal disruption to our home and landscaping associated with this project.

I used Express today and based upon the recommendation of an earlier user asked for Al. Periodically I need to get my main sewer line to the street snaked to cut out the roots. But the clean-out is not in an easy -to-reach place which is why I wanted to get someone who knew what he was doing.
Using out-of -the-box thinking Al devised a way to snake my line without having to bring the 300lb machine up the hill to the clean out. I'd never seen this technique before but it really work and it was safe and relatively quick. They normally charge by the hour but because of the unusual position they were going to charge me more than I expected. When I objected on the grounds that they didn't indicate this upfront, he agreed to bill me the amount I had expected. It seemed to matter to him that I had asked for him specifically.
And I""m very glad I did and recommend Al as a very experienced out-of -the-box thinker.
