A week and a half ago, I took a shower and I could not turn off my hot water. I turned off the water to the house, but it was to no avail. Having had broken irrigation pipes in the past, I saw a huge water bill in my future.

A friend who uses Express plumbing in their business, recommended them immediately. After calling, they promptly sent out Anceer and Hector, whose professionalism, wealth of knowledge, and calm demeanor, helped put me at rest. Rather than a lengthy explanation of what the issue was, I would just like to say that I love to learn new things, and they had no problem with me watching them as they worked, and explained exactly what was going on. I salute these two gentlemen for their friendly and patient attitude, and taking great pride in their work. It is a rarity in this day and age. And having been a flight attendant for 40 years, I have the utmost respect for great customer service. I thought it was a lost art, but was reassured that day, that it was alive and well at Express Plumbing.

So thank you again, and all though I misplaced my 10% off card to be used in the future, it's irrelevant, as I can't imagine calling anyone else.

Extremely rude, very unprofessional and disrespectful. We asked Express to give us a quote for a job - they didn't know we had already had another company come out prior to compare.

The person they sent did not knock, just tried to walk right in. He did not ask any questions, did not look at the marked off area (we have a leak & had a leak specialist come find & mark the area - we requested 2 options/estimates), he took no measurements- the first & only thing he said was ""what's your budget"". Then when confronted about it later on the phone he had the audacity to tell me my husband lied about the exchange (I have cameras Everywhere). And continued to berate me & tell me I was wrong.

Do Not Use this company unless you want to pay more & need to have everything redone.

* 5/9: The owner called this morning after seeing the review. Tried to make excuses for his worker (maybe he was having a bad day, he lives far away, etc). He has offered to come and look at our plumbing/leak problem himself & give us an estimate himself.

This is the best team I've used since I started my new house constructions at Belmont. I hired EPS to do trenching for my gas, electric, water and fire sprinkler lines. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies. EPS's quote was comparable to another company while the third one was way high. Joe, the project manager, explained all steps and fees to me patiently. I felt comfortable to go with them and I am so glad about my decision. The whole team was amazing. Bill, the field manager, was detail oriented, sincere and knowledgeable. All work was completed professionally and flawlessly within few weeks (while most of the time were spent on waiting for inspection schedule). We passed all inspections with no surprise. In-between my general contractor threw a surprise and I have to find somebody to connect the main sewer. Joe and Bill came to the rescue. Their team finished the additional task in no time.
Since I like to see how things are done, I was on the job site most of the time. I can tell that their team has great spirit and good dynamic. This doesn't come without a good leader who respects their workers. They've definitely won my business from now on. I would recommend them to my friends without hesitations. I wasn't expecting to use Express Plumbing but I am glad I did. Ameen was courteous, quick and patient. He understood the situation and fixed it quickly. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

True my unit is on the third floor but there is an elevator negating the need to bring it up the stairs. Al was aware of the elevator. I even asked him if he wanted to take the elevator or the stairs. There are also special dollies that enable a water heater to be installed by one technician instead of two. What brand, model and capacity water heater would have been installed that costs $2680?

We had a water leak that I hadn't been able to isolate, and a clogged sink that evaded our best efforts to unclog. Express Plumbing replied promptly to my on-line request for help, and sent Luis (who is a gem) the next morning. He isolated the leak to an outdoor irrigation system despite a lot of noise from construction next door making it hard to hear water flow, and the troubled sink is now flowing freely. Thank you for being prompt, courteous, professional, effective.

Express Plumbing (EPS) replaced my sewer lateral. All of their people from John Karam, the estimator, to the installation crew were very professional. The materials and installation were also first rate. The city inspector had no complaint and approved the work. Additional cleanouts were requested and provided.

The price was very competitive and the work was done quickly.

We needed an inspection and quote on a sewer lateral repair and replace. Express Plumbing got out to the job site and quickly turned around a quote for us. They are responsive and do what they say. The office manager Kimberly is really a gem, so knowledgeable and professional. Nowadays you don't often find someone answering a business phone who really knows their stuff and how to be professional, considerate, and efficient.

I would definitely go to Express Plumbing for any future plumbing work.

This summer I had high hopes for Express for doing a trenchless sewer lateral replacement. A few days before the job was supposed to begin, they called to say that PG&E called them to say that the job couldn't be done trenchless because it was too close to a gas line. They offered to do the job the traditional nontrenchless way--but wanted to charge more than double the original contract price. I canceled the job. And I called PG&E. They had no record of any communication with Express. This was after Express spent most of the deposit on a worthless permit and ambiguous office time. They did give a partial refund promptly, but they kept $127 for office work? They said they could do the job. Then they said they couldn't. Paying for a permit is one thing, but why should I have to pay for their time filing and making calls when they misjudged the job?

Best experience ever! These guys saved my bacon. I had a gas leak in the wall and they were here immediately. Quality work at a VERY reasonable price. The tech, Brandon Bell, was well groomed, courteous, and totally professional. He did exactly as promised for the agreed price. No surprises!!
