We had a rather major water leak in bathroom plumbing and called one of the larger plumbing companies who told us it would be sometime around noon or a little after that they could come out (we called at 10am). By 4PM, and after calling 3 times and being told they were busy but would come out.....we decided to check online and found Expert Plumbing. When we called at 4:10PM Talal (the owner) said he was working about 20 minutes away but since it sounded like we had a real emergency he would come right over....which he did. He was so incredibly nice and concerned with helping us.....VERY professional and very respectful of our home (putting on booties to protect our floors).
Talal was very knowledgeable and immediately fixed our problem and offered suggestions on how to avoid this happening again. We had him check a few other small issues ....which he did very willingly even though it was getting to be after 5PM by then.
We have never dealt with such a knowledgeable, kind, clean, friendly and considerate plumber...very concerned if we were satisfied and happy with his work.

I'd like to recommend Expert Plumbing for your next plumbing emergency or scheduled job.

Recently I made the mistake of calling a larger plumbing company for a quote on replacing two faucet sets in my master bathroom. When the plumbers arrived, they stomped through my bedroom and into the bathroom in their dirty shoes for a look at the requested replacement work. After conferring with their main office, they presented me with an outrageous quote for the job. When I told them how ridiculous I thought it was, they said they'd check again with their office. Moments later they came back in with a quote that was over $100 less and still, in my opinion, outrageous for the scope of work required.

After dismissing the big company boys, I looked on Yelp, located the highly-rated Expert Plumbing and scheduled an appointment. When Talal and his brother arrived at the scheduled time, I was immediately impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and the way their took the effort to cover their shoes before entering.

The quote I received from Export Plumbing was very reasonable, and the work they performed was excellent. Talal even offered some suggestions about future faucet replacement, should the need arise, that could reduce installation costs. I will definitely call Expert Plumbing again when I need any plumbing work done.

I'd recommend you do the same. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

We have a very complicated central home heating system which is tied in with our hot water heater. Basically, the hot water heater heats the coils in our central heating system in the house. Sounds neat, ha? Nope, it's not. When the hot water heater goes out so does the house heating system. And to top things off, the company that made these systems is no longer in business. So it is virtually impossible to find a replacement water heater. Well, I'm so glad I called Talal with Expert Plumbing.

Talal found a water heater that was compatible with our system and installed it within a day of calling him. He is by far the best plumber I have ever experienced. He doesn't make promises he can't keep, he shows up when he says he is going to and he is very courteous, something I have found lacking in many service industries in Santa Cruz. The work was top-notch. Very nice welds, quality materials, and no mess to clean up afterwords.

The day after we installed the system I noticed that the house heater wasn't working as well as it had prior to installing the system. Well, I called Talal and he was here within 20 minutes! As it turned out, there was no problem with the system. It was just a setting issue. Regardless, Talal spent half an hour at my house examining the system and then showing me how to dial in the heating controls.

The next day, Talal called to make sure everything was working to our satisfaction. It is rare to get that kind of service.

I am glad we found a plumber we can truly trust in Santa Cruz. Support a local small business and give Talal a call when you have a plumbing issue. He will not let you down.

Based on yelp reviews, I assumed this plumber would be responsive and courteous so I gave him a call...Several calls actually. I never received a response from this gentleman and was left with the assumption that my job was too small to pique his interest.

Now, I can certainly understand how a busy contractor may not want to bother with a small job, but a business that lacks the common courtesy of a return phone call has got me questioning the validity of the many positive yelp reviews which led me to this business in the first place.

Talal is the most professional service provider in Santa Cruz. Probably should be nominated for Small Businessman of the Year! He was very responsive, articulate, professional and uses modern technology for communication and invoicing.

He came after hours to assess the job (water heater leak/replacement), and was onsite the next morning by 8 am to replace it. He has a great personality and wonderful customer satisfaction-focus. Refreshing experience in a stressful situation.

I'm late to write this review but I feel I have to let you know what great service I received. Talal was responsive, on time, fairly priced, and professional. I have several properties and finding a trustworthy plumber has been the biggest challenge. Talal exceeded my expectations. You won't be disappointed.

We found water sitting in the bottom of our kitchen sink cabinet from a slow leak that seemed to be coming from the bottom of our kitchen faucet. The faucet had been installed just a year prior from a contractor's plumber. After reading such positive reviews on Yelp and Angie's List, I decided to call Expert Plumbing. Talal answered my call right away and made an appointment to come and diagnose the problem. He was on time and genuinely kind. He confirmed that the bolt cap on bottom of faucet had cracked and had recommended replacing the faucet since that would be faster than waiting to get a new bolt cap. We agreed. He also checked our water pressure valve and found our water pressure to be above 110 psi. He said that the water pressure valve needed to be replaced as well and thankfully he had the one we needed in stock. So after going to Home Depot and purchasing a Kohler faucet, I called Talal, again answered my call right away, and scheduled another appointment for install the next day. He again was on time. I appreciated his accessibility, how personable and kind he was, and how he explained things in layman's terms. I feel I can trust him and would not hesitate to call on him again.
