Lets get this out of the way first, I recommend Expert Plumbing. I called to leave a message to set up an appointment and got an immediate response. Talal ended up able to show up earlier than expected. I was both impressed an appreciative of his willingness to explain the possible issues, in detail over the phone prior to being on site. He was willing to adjust standard pricing based upon the difficulty (or lack there of) on using the snake camera (which can get expensive!) as well as lowering the cost after I offered to do some of the trench digging myself. There were, however, a few questions left unanswered after his departure from the site. BUT, he was more than willing to discuss the symptoms and options over the phone after he was already paid for what he did. In my book, this shows his disposition towards getting the problem fixed at the expense of his own time and resources.

I found a leak in my water heater and needed someone to come and assess the situation fast. After reading some reviews I chose Expert Plumbing and was not disappointed!
I called and left a message. Talal responded quickly and was at my house within 30 minutes of our phone call.
He made a quick assessment and we discussed replacement options. He gave me a thorough analysis of my options and answered all of my questions. Talal also noticed additional water damage due to a leaky faucet in my kitchen and I added that to the work order.
I was given a detailed estimate and scheduled the replacement for 2 hours later.
Moe arrived on time and went right to work. He was great! His work was clean and quick. He had the water heater and new kitchen faucet installed and my water back on in no time. He had a small hiccup with a missing part but he was able to retrieve it in 30 minutes.
From the time that Talal arrived to give me the estimate until his brother Moe had finished the whole job it was a total of 6 1/2 hours!
Expert Plumbing was fast and the price was right.

Had a kitchen remodel because of water damage. Needed new plumbing and new sink, faucet and dishwasher installation. Starting with my first phone call, they were responsive, professional and efficient. Initially, Talal said he couldn't come out for a couple weeks...when he heard my disappointment, he then said he'd come out the next day to give me an estimate. From that moment on I knew I'd made the right decision. Talal and Mo were great. They also found a bad leak in the outside line going from the street to my home and repaired it with minimal cost. I don't often pay a lot of attention to these reviews, but chose Expert Plumbing because of the high number of positive reviews. They didn't disappoint. Good work, fair prices and great people.

Talal and his brother do good work and I like them a lot.
Everything good you read in Yelp or Google+ is true.

In the end, I simply find them expensive. That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

Make sure that you understand the estimate and the work and time involved. $200 to replace cold water 1/4 turn valve and flex tube under the sink (35min) and $700 for 2 men to replace 12ft of galvanized pipe under the house (1hr. 10min).

I have had reason to call for plumbing help twice during the last few months and was lucky enough to end up with Expert Plumbing. Mo arrived on time for both appointments. One to install a new kitchen faucet and another to install a new garbage disposal. His work was excellent. Their prices are reasonable considering the quality of their work, and I hope they stay in business for a very long time. It's great to be able to rely on and trust true professionals like Talal and Mo. I will be calling them again soon to install a water heater.

I went to call back a plumber I used long ago here in the Santa Cruz area, but thought...what the heck, let me check Yelp. Well, I found out by their recent Yelp reviews this former plumber was probably not someone I should call.
I then checked around Yelp and discovered the great reviews for Expert Plumber and reached out to owner Talal Dakkak. Talal promptly replied and was kind enough to fit me in to his already full schedule.
He came by today and impressed in all ways. Talal's professional, friendly and delivered excellent service at an awesome price! Even my wife was super impressed and that is saying something!
Thank you Talal. Count me as a satisfied customer and a future client. I'll never hunt for a good plumber again. I found a great one!

Best customer service experience I've had in a long time. Talal was helpful on the phone when scheduling the appointment, taking the time to assess my problem and letting me know how to be prepared for the appointment. Mo came out here and explained everything to me in a way that was clear and understandable- I have a whole new appreciation for my garbage disposal and dishwasher, thanks to the education he provided. He was courteous, thorough, outstanding. When I needed a follow up visit on an tangentially related issue, they didn't even charge me for the 75 minutes they spent addressing it. These guys were the most unprofessional morons that they actually resorted to lying on here. First lets start with the fact that they quoted me a time of arrival of 10am and showed up an hour and a half late. After the moron comes into to look at the faucet that was barely working beats it with a hammer for 30 minutes then tells me he has to set outside to make a phone call and never returns. I waited an hour thinking he went for lunch, then called the office number and what a surprise no answer. Terrible communication and completely unprofessional they wasted my entire day. They call back at the end of the day only after I post the yelp review to cry that they think its unfair and there was a miscommunication. If you want your time wasted by 2 creepy losers who clearly have no idea of what they are doing, these are your guys. Avoid them!! They claim I was the only one not satisfied if that's that case where was the other post saying they did a great job from,""the other tenet"" or the landlord? These guys are sad liars.
