Responsive: quick, timely and professionally.
Detailed: Explains his work, what will be done, provides suggestions and breaks down costs. He definitely puts pride in his work, again very detailed, shares options, and also mindful of how we would want things done.
Straight Forward: no wasting time and gets to the point. I appreciate this a lot- now a days, there is no time to waste.
Vision: He has ideas, suggestions- and definitely sounds like he can make things possible.

Use Yelp review and got a quick message from Eugene. He quick and prompt and was fair in pricing and works with customers. Eugene was not able to use original junction box that was done by construction company so he moved it and moved electrical. Took him two days but few hours each day to get supplies and do a great job. His patching works well too even offered to do some painting over ceiling. He came on time and communicated well through text message. I have a couple more jobs and would use his business again.

I purchased a trampoline for my daughter's birthday and needed to have it assembled. I was contacted by a few handyman companies after requesting a quote. I ultimately chose EvaMax because they had great reviews and the price quote was very reasonable - $100. The job took several hours, but I'm sure it would have been completed much faster with two people. He did a really good job putting the trampoline together and I am very pleased with the work done.

I would have given a 5 star review except that, after arriving and surveying the work necessary, the price was increased by $100. He said he'd never assembled a trampoline before and didn't realize the work involved. While I agreed to the price (it was a birthday gift for my daughter after all), I feel he should have done research prior to accepting the job so that the quote closely reflected the final price. Many people might not have been willing/able to pay double the quoted price. But overall, I am pleased with the job done and would recommend EvaMax.

We had a leaky kitchen faucet from the spray hose. We found EvaMax from Yelp, and he was the fastest to respond to the request, and came the very next morning. He did a great job! He placed a paper towel under the sink to make sure there is no more leak. Very satisfied with his fast responsiveness and knowledge. He said he is a surgeon for the house. Thought that was a great analogy!

Evgeniy did an amazing job on some lighting updates in our very old, very dark home. He is nice, knowledgeable, clean, and quick. We can finally see with all this added light! Bye bye ugly ""nipple"" light ""Handyman"" does not really describe his talent. Yes he can fix things, but he's also able to do larger construction jobs. Very glad we found him. He will definitely be our first call for any future work.

Evgeniy has been a lifesaver while trying to get my house sold. He replaced a fence that was falling over and redid my front yard with grass seed. By far the best experience I've had hiring a handyman... Evgeniy is a very professional and thoughtful person seems like any issue comes up he knows how to solve.. Me and my Spouse just purchased a condo that needed a lot of work with the kitchen, bathrooms and floors along with a few other details the first person we hired just simply didn't know what he was doing and set us back a great deal. As soon as we hired Evgeniy he has yet to disappoint, he's the swiss army knife when it comes to home renovations.. In Nov, our downstairs toilet tank cracked. Within a week, my husband swatted a fly and made a hole in the wall (by the toilet) the size of a huge pancake! Then, the old fluorescent lights in the kitchen stopped working. I reset the circuit breaker hopeful that the kitchen lights would turn back on, but it didn't. So for the holidays, we had to run upstairs to use the bathroom and we cooked dinners with a desk lamp in the kitchen.

After searching for a week, I realized I wanted a single person who had experience with plumbing, simple renovation, and electrical issues. I didn't want to hire two different specialists to 1) redo the half bath: replace a toilet, lay down new Pergo laminate, and cover the medicine cabinet hole and husband's hole in the wall, and 2) figure out and fix the electrical issue in my kitchen.

I found EvaMax on Yelp with no reviews yet, but the posts of the home repair and home renovation he did looked great, so I decided to take a chance. I AM SO GLAD I DID!

EvaMax worked a total of 4 days:

Day 1
Removed toilet. Repaired and textured 2 holes (behind the toilet and where the medicine cabinet was.)

Then discovered a hazard! Moisture damage in the wall due to the dryer in the laundry room adjacent to the bathroom. The moisture, lint debris, and heat from the dryer was causing the shared wall to dry out making it brittle in some parts. He stopped because he needed my approval and input before proceeding.

Day 2
Removed lots of lint debris from the wall which could have caught on fire one day!!! Oh my!!! Then installed flooring and toilet same day.

Day 3
Installed new baseboards in bathroom, removed old kitchen lighting, installed recessed lighting, and crawled under the house to make sure the vent air traveled out of the house. Needed my approval and input before proceeding.

Day 4
Turns out someone pushed the washing machine too far back and popped off the vent cover connected to the lint tube from the dryer. The location of this vent is in the wall between the laundry and bathroom! Mystery solved. The moisture in the wall of the bathroom was from the damaged vent in the wall from the dryer. Ev made a new cover for the damaged vent, assured us that the vent will allow the hot air from the dryer to travel through the repaired vent to the exterior of the house. As a reminder he stated to clean out the lint each time we use the dryer.

EvaMax is very skilled and knowledgeable about home repair and remodeling. He completed our job(s) fast. He is accessible by text between working hours, and is polite and straight to the point. Most of all, his pricing to me is very reasonable.

I can't thank EvaMax enough. We have new recessed lighting in the kitchen and new half bath that doesn't smell like laundry anymore! Most of all we took care of the laundry hazard that I didn't even know existed!!Apparently, a damaged laundry vent is the leading cause of 15,000 home fires each year. Scary! So relieved EvaMax fixed the hazard. My family and I will definitely call EvaMax for any future home repair or remodel.

I've tried multiple, recommended handymen in Vallejo over the years. Each time I was met with disappointment -- subpar work, incomplete projects, unprofessional service.

This unfortunate experience made me very nervous to try anyone else, but things I needed fixed around the house continued to pile up.

I saw a post on Nextdoor by EvaMax, and figured I I'd inquire about their services.

Within 15 mins they were at my door, as I proceeded to walk them thru all my household issues. After compiling a list, they gave me the cost for each project, and we decided to start with replacing the kitchen faucet and resurfacing / painting my backsplash.

Service was punctual, efficient and thorough. They checked in with me throughout each step of the process and finally the finished product.

To my pleasant surprise, everything turned out great, prices were reasonable and I plan to use them for my future projects.
