We had Ernie's out to replace our faucet fixtures. Lee was at our house at the time given to us. He gave us an estimate, did the job in about half the time, cleaned up and we were pleased. The 2 plumbers before him with other companies charged just as much and both jobs had leaks after the job was done. We will call Ernie's again.

Wow-- We just had an absolutely fantastic, positive experience with Ernies. After having another plumber come out twice to snake our line that drains to the street it was still backing up. Needed help. Called Ernies and within a half hour Francisco showed up at our door. He was friendly, helpful, discussed our options, immediately got to work, snaked the line, found an obstruction, ran his camera through at our request, gave us peace of mind that we don't have a broken pipe and explained to me what I was looking at on the camera's video screen. We are caregivers for an 89 year old woman and he gave her a 10% senior's discount and was polite and respectful to her. I know that some others wrote negative reviews and I was hesitant to try them because of it, but it was important to me to share our experience because it was so very positive. We will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs and will always ask for Francisco when we do!

Having a difficult time scheduling a straightforward tub drain job around xmas time, needed to get done for new tenants. Got two quotes over the phone--but needed someone then. Called Ernies,they would not give phone quote, but said they could do it...when they looked at the job--they were 1000 over the other quotes, dould not do it then,"" he needeed a helper""; and they neglected to mention that there was a minimum charge for walking in the door of one hour---179.dollars. Got on the phone with the head of the plumbers--Carlos, and he was totally resonable and easy to talk to; agreed that the job should heve been no more than 800 dollars, and that we should have been told that a look would cost us...obviously Carlos cares more about honesty and integraty than whoever runs Ernies--they stiffed me for the whole amount, and did no work. AVOID even Calling For Quote! Call a business that is not gouging the public!!

So, going back to my earlier review of Ernie's......in yesterday's mail I received a BILL for $162, including a LATE charge, which, I assume, is for the aggravation of dissing them here and on FB, and for demanding, and receiving, a refund of my STOP PAYMENT fee from my bank, for cancelling the check I wrote them. Perhaps Ernie's stays in business by milking money from unsuspecting suckers. Well, not from this one. Ernie's will await nuclear devastation before receiving ONE dollar from me. Why, oh why, can I not give NEGATIVE stars in my reviews?

I have only had positive experiences with Ernie's.

I call and they show up on time, they do the job quickly, professionally and politely.

I have had them out for basic and complex jobs - they have snaked my sewer line and lowered the sewer line that goes to the toilet.

Sorry others had poor experiences. I have always been happy.

The saga never ends with Ernie's. We had a home inspection to complete the sale of our home and the inspector found that the shower was still leaking!! My husband called the company and the same plumber came out within 15 minutes and fixed the leak again and then braced the piping so that it would not work loose. Honestly...3 visits for a simple fix?

holy rip off artists batman! Called them out to run about 10 feet of black iron pipe. I was beyond shocked when quoted $1875, total cost of materials even the suggested flex pipe come out to be around 100-150, so 1700 in labor seem quite excessive for less than an hour of work . They called me back a few hours later asking if $900 seemed more reasonable, funny saying no to an insane quote gets me an offer for HALF of the original.
I understand plumbers are expensive, but this is just insane. I ended up just buying the materials and tools and squeezing it into the rest of the projects I had to do to get my house ready to move into, cost me less than $150.

Please be careful choosing this Company. They were prompt to respond to our call. They replaced our sewer line and knicked our water line at the same time. Their guys who were here showed me what they had did. Carlos, the manager, refuses to call me back. I have called several times because the quality of our drinking is awful - tastes like dirt and smells bad. The lady who answers the phone said they would correct their error. We have had to go out and get another contractor now to replace our water line. I would not recommend this Company to anyone - they are not honest and they do not back up their work.

BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE MARKETING AND PRICING FROM ERNIE'S PLUMBING & SEWER SERVICE!!
We called Ernie's because we felt a need to have immediate work done to reinstall water service at our home. Nathaniel gave us an estimate that we told him was too high but because we felt we needed to have something done quickly we agreed to have Ernie's do the work without getting other estimates. Big mistake on our part!! I think we paid at least 60% to 70% more than the job should have cost because we felt we needed to get something done quickly! Not Ernie's fault, they got what they wanted, a panicky customer who was willing to agree to their proposal. It was our fault because of the urgency we felt.
Then, after the work was completed and Ernie's Plumbing was paid, I sent them several emails. They never did respond to my requests. Can only wonder what will happen if we have a problem with the work they did!
If you need any plumbing or sewer work, get some other estimates. This plumber will initially give you an estimate at least two to three times what you should be paying.

By the way, it has now been many months and I still have not received any response from Ernie's to my e-mails to them.

We had a plumbing leak in our home and called Ernie's. Nathaniel came out for the estimate and I called the next day and scheduled the work for the day after that. Ernie's plumber Daniel & one helper rerouted the pipes into the attic space and down our kitchen wall to bypass the leak. I chose them because they said they could remove less wall board than the other plumbers I talked to said they would need to remove. As it turned out, they only needed to remove a small patch of wall board in my garage and none on the interior walls. Their price was competitive with the other plumbers contacted. Their work was professional and neat, but as with most plumbers, very expensive. All in all, I'm pleased with Ernie's plumbing.
