We had a plumbing leak in our home and called Ernie's. Nathaniel came out for the estimate and I called the next day and scheduled the work for the day after that. Ernie's plumber Daniel & one helper rerouted the pipes into the attic space and down our kitchen wall to bypass the leak. I chose them because they said they could remove less wall board than the other plumbers I talked to said they would need to remove. As it turned out, they only needed to remove a small patch of wall board in my garage and none on the interior walls. Their price was competitive with the other plumbers contacted. Their work was professional and neat, but as with most plumbers, very expensive. All in all, I'm pleased with Ernie's plumbing.

Well the caretaker for my landlord gave me the choice of Ernie's and another outfit we had used before. I chose Ernie's thinking a local company would respond faster and they did. BUT that's where I stopped being impressed. I wasn't home when the plumber came but sure could see the mess he left. A wet carpet around the toilet, footprints on the tile floor, etc. From what I understand it took approx 3 hours to clear a very short run. He was asked repeatedly to close the door behind him so the pets wouldn't get out and he failed here too. A real bummer. Too bad careless employees reflect on companies so negatively with their lack of attention to detail.

Dec 7th, Ernie's plumbing replacing sewer line to house next door, hits sewer main and floods mine, and 2 other homes in Martinez. They ignored protocol from city of Martinez and didn't obtain sewer map. CLEARLY the fault of Ernie's. I don't have renter's insurance(my bad, totally)
Needless to say, I am put out of my house for 3 weeks, and not given ONE ounce of courtesy from Ernie's plumbing whatsoever. ""Carlos"" is on site for maybe a day, then disappears. His insurance company comes out and before any information is obtained, tells me they are denying responsibility and cannot provide me with emergency housing(even though they could certainly collect it later from the principals involved) so I'm literally out on the street because of Ernie's plumbing and their ignorance. Merry f**king holiday for me!!! I hate Ernie's and will do anything and everything I can to keep them from destroying other lives and property!! Useless scum they are!!!

Thanksgiving morning and a blocked sewer. I called a couple of companies and Ernies was the only one able to come straight out. Barnardo from Ernie's Pumbing, showed up and the line was unpluged a in quick time. Very freindly and dependable.

Nathaniel from Ernie's diagnosed (in less than 5 minutes) a problem that Sears had been unable to fix after repeated attempts and 2 replacements of water heaters under warranty.

George from Ernie's came out to pump my septic tank. In fact he does the pumping for most of the neighbors on my street. He did a thorough job, was honest & informative, and gave me some good tips. My neighbors that have used him in the past have been very satisfied as well. I recommend Ernie's for your septic needs.

Another plumbing problem recently, and I was Nathaniel to the rescue again. It was a Saturday and our toilet was running. Nathaniel came over late in the afternoon and by evening the toilet was replaced. Great job!

We had a big mess on our hands when our sewer line got clogged up last week. After trying to unclog the mess ourselves, we called Ernie's Plumbing based on a recommendation from our neighbor. They came out that same day and cleaned out the sewer line (lots of tree roots were blocking it). Josh was courteous, answered all our questions and completed the job in under an hour.

Today we had our toilet replaced by Ernies. We were having problems with overflow and leaking. Josh was very clear with the explanation as to why the old toilet was leaking. We agreed on a reasonable Fee.
I was very pleased with the Service I received and I will use this service again. I do not know much about plumbing, I just knew we had a problem and now it is resolved. Josh was courteous and professional. I will definitely use this service again. I am happy to work with him again.

I called to have someone come out and install 4 new faucets. They showed up on time, but it went downhill from there. First thing the guy did was tell us the mid to upper range American Standard faucet we bought (with the approval of a Home Depot employee) was junk and tried to sell us better connections and told us we needed all new valves. He gave us an estimate or over $1,000 to install 4 faucets. When we told him no, he started to argue with us. He was creepy all around and we won't be calling Ernie's ever again.
