We have used Ernies twice for minor repairs. I'm really impressed by their service. It's clear they know that being efficient and not overcharging will result in continued business...we will continue to call them anytime we need plumbing help.
I highly recommend Ernie's!

John, from Ernie's Plumbing, has had to come to our house several times because the company who built our house did a poor job. Every time John comes, he leaves our kitchen and bathrooms in better shape -- much better shape.
John is extremely punctual and responsive. Does fantastic work and leaves the job site clean. Most importantly he is easy to talk to and very kind and thoughtful.
Rosie -- the person who answers the phone for Ernie's Plumbing -- has also been very kind and helpful. There's a certain amount of stress when you have to make a call because of a plumbing problem. You want someone who is on-the-ball and helpful and that is what I have gotten with Rosie and with John.
We are EXTREMELY happy with this plumbing service and will use them whenever we need plumbing or drain help.

Never had a problem in the past, but one of Ernie's guys has completely changed our opinion. We had the sound of ""running water"" (like a hose bib turned on all the way) when no water was supposed to be on. I was investigating the problem & isolated the noise to one of the shutoff systems & found a bad shutoff valve (this is when we called Ernie's). I needed that brass ball valve replaced so I could continue hunting down the running water noise. Also, I wanted one of the pop-its on the backflow cleaned out, & I wanted them to make sure there wasn't some obvious leak under the house causing the running water noise. So John came out. First, he wouldn't touch the ball valve because the galvanized pipes ""looked old"". The backflow had 2 shutoffs which worked fine, but because of being turned on /off A LOT lately one was made stiffer because I had to tighten the gland nut (makes it harder to turn the handle). I told this to John more than once. He should've known to loosen he gland nut to turn the lever or NOT use those shutoffs at all since he had a meter key to turn off the water right at the meter...What pissed me off was seeing John torque on the threaded valve STEM with vice-grips (at the very least he was stripping the threads!) but WORSE, the stem snapped off! John's solution: replace the WHOLE BACKFLOW device. He did find that the regulator was bad. The estimate to have the regulator & backflow replace -
$2,300.00, which included the 1 1/2 hr visit for all of the WORK?????!!! for that day....We didn't approve the quote. Why? Turns out we don't need a backflow (thats the part that John blatantly broke unnecessarily & most expensive to replace). In fact, John never asked about our well & if it was connected to our system. It isn't, thats why we don't need the backflow. But the labor estimate of $1,500.00???? Thats just a RIP-OFF! And the audacity to charge $300.00 when nothing was fixed!!! Karma....Turns out one person replaced the regulator, removed the backflow & installed a new shutoff, & replaced that bad ball valve in under 2 hours (which eliminated the mystery running water noise). All of the things Ernie was going to charge us $2,300.00 to fix & another licensed plumber did it for under $500.00. Shame on Ernie's for employing a scammer like John! We like Ernie Jr. but this call totally changed our opinion & we'll never use Ernie's again.

Ben the plumber from Tennessee was excellent. He arrived within the scheduled time which was greatly appreciated. He was very patient with me as I tried to explain the problem with our toilets. He diagnosed the problem with our two toilets and made the repairs expertly. Overall very pleased with the work performed and would definitely use them again.

We have used them for years. Recently we had a small leak that required repair. They did a great job and were very quick.

Ben the new team member from Tennessee did a great job on our 60+ year old shower problems. As a landlord, I have come to rely on this company for all our plumbing problems. Not cheap, but fast, competent, and honest - and they get it done right the first time.

My 91 year old mother-in-law lives in a small house on the back of our property. She notified me that her toilet and shower was backed up. I called Ernie's on Friday, Nov. 15th and they came out on Monday around 3:15 and ran a snake down the 2"" line on the outside of the house. They ran the snake down the line two times but couldn't open it. I asked them to run it down the larger line where the toilet sits. They told me they don't remove toilets. My wife asked if they would try running the line one more time outside. She was told there would be an additional charge. I was reluctant to pay them until the job was done. So I called the company to speak with a manager about the problem and was told they close at 4:00 and no one was there. I went back outside to speak with the plumbers and discovered they had left. I went over to the company to see if I could talk to someone but everyone was gone. The two plumbers that came to my house were there and getting ready to leave for the day. That explains why they were in a hurry to leave before the job was finished. Ernie came by my house the following day and reduced my bill to $105.00. Bottom line, I paid $105.00 and didn't get the line unpluged. Ernie's plumbers said there were tree roots in the line (to which there wasn't) and that I needed to install a large cleanout.
I then looked on Yelp and found Fantastic Rooter. They adverise NO charge until the line is cleared! They came out around 11:00 a.m. pulled the toilet, ran a large cleaner down the line, but after at least two hours of trying was unsuccessful. The owner, Jaimi, was contacted by his plumber and showed up at my house around 6:00 p.m. with water preasure equipment. He ran the water preasure line down the two inch line outside and was able to open it. He then sent a camera down and the line was clear. He did notice some solder that was protruding in the pipe. He then ran the snake down the toilet pipe and broke the solder loose. Unlike Ernies, Fantastic Rooter stayed until the job was done at 7 p.m. His company was at our house for 8 hours. I was only charged for the removal of the toilet and the water preasure cleaning. Also, their work is gauranteed for one year. Fantastic Rooter is Fantastic!!! if we have another issue we will only call Fantastic Rooter!

Earnie Jr. was great and helped me to solve a problem with what he called a ""Flapper"". Basically it took him 10 minutes to remove an insert at the outside pipe and they charged me $250.00 which was excessively high for the amount of time and difficulty to fix. It was on a Sunday however and they were at my address within about 15 minutes so very good response time. They stated that the standard price for a fix/visit on a Sunday was $250 and wouldn't adjust it down. I don't think I'm going to use them again.

Call them, explained the problem, got a a two hour appointment time, technician showed up as expected, told me the price and promptly fixed the problem. Very nice to deal with. Fair price for the job.

Two plumbing contractors came out and ""snaked the main drain"" and still did not fix the problem of backed up sewer. I crawled under house to find a broken main. Called Ernie's plumbing for help. They came out that same day, crawled under house and verified two problem areas. Gave me an estimate and recommended a company that would clean up sewage spill. Ernie's came out the next day after clean up and replaced the main drain pipe in two locations. They did a very professional job and for less than the original estimate. They were professional, friendly and honest. I will be calling them again when we remodel our bathroom.
