WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EPIPE TO ANYONE. They told us it would take 1 day to repair a slab leak; yet it is 5 days & counting since they left us without a shower. They said they had access to white tile & are now claiming they only have yellow tile. Thanks to Epipe we have been without a working shower for the last 5 days and as of this post are still without a working shower even though they have been paid in full. My calls are met with excuses including ""...everyone is at lunch"" or ""I'm not part of customer service"". I will keep you posted as to when this shower & job contracted for is finally complete. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND EPIPE TO ANYONE BECAUSE THEY LIE & DID NOT DO THE JOB THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

E pipe-pipe restoration is a plumbing company you can count on... E pipe-pipe restoration will back up there work!!! I want to say thank you to Raul, for listening to my water leak problem for my home.... Water leaks inside your home are no fun!! I wanted to say thank you to Giovanni and Alaro , the field technicians, for a job well done...They were able to find the water leak fast, work efficiently, clean and safe.... I would recommend E-Pipe Pipe Restoration to anyone with a water leak problem.... I am now going to schedule my house for a complete epoxy lining to eliminate all leaks.... Thank you!!!

If you ever consider Epoxy Lining to protect your plumbing from future leaks, and if you desire to have lead free pipes, Epipe, Ace Duraflo (http://www.aceduraflo.com/epipe/process ) is the company to consider. This company has its own patent for the Epoxy product(water repellent) which is far more superior to others. They also have top of the line equipment. The plumbers are experienced and knowledgeable and they did not need to cut any holes in the walls. Unfortunately, we first hired company named Nuflow OC, they cut holes in the walls, damaged our plumbing valves then abandoned the job without putting things back and restoring the water, they did that due to their lack of knowledge in this field. Epipe came and restored our water, provided us with utmost professional service. Epipe Project manager Thomas Romero was prompt, professional and courteous as he explained the Epoxy process in details, and made sure all was proceeding according to schedule. We certainly feel very comfortable recommending this company to anyone interested in preventing future water leaks and lead free water.

I decided to use this service when I had a pipe that kept flooding my living room and leaks else where in my home. I did a lot of research on options to protect all of the pipes in our house without leakage. It was a quick and easy service and they did not have to knock out multiple holes in my wall, which was really nice. I think I had two holes total.
Fast forward to today, it's now been a few years... I called customer service with a question and ""Raul"" sent out two professional employees on the same day... and they showed up on time. It was determined my problem is not related to the E pipe.
That is great service and if you are like me and want to buy yourself another 10+ years of home protection I would recommend e pipe based on how easy it was and quality customer service down the road.

As far as I know, the pipes have been restore which is quite an expensive insurance policy but provides peace of mind. There have been a few things that I have been disappointed by.

The first, I had to make arrangements for an inspection after restoration was completed. I had to wait all day for the inspector only to find I didn't pass because ePipe did not put tags on all necessary connections. I had to make another appt. for ePipes to come out to house to tag everything. With the second inspection this issue resulted in an unnecessary two extra days of my time.

Second, after my cold water clothes were ruined by hot water, I figured out that they switched the hot/cold connections on my washing machine. I called to request a fix ASAP leaving a message and writing them through their website but received no reply. I called them to follow-up and they initially told me it would take 5 days to come to house. After I debated with them they accommodated me with a next day appt.

This resulted in additional 3 unnecessary days of service. I just hope I don't need them within the warranty period

This company is very well organized. They did an excellent job of stopping my water leak without tearing up the floors and walls. All the employees involved with the repair were courteous, professional and did an excellent job; I no longer have an outrageous water bill thanks to Jose and his crew.

The dreaded words of my plumber... you have ""another"" slab leak.. I was not happy as my first leak was in Dec of last years.. 6 months, here we go again..

On my last slab leak, I had it repaired by the plumber by working around the leak.. As I have now learned, there is an issue with a water additive in Orange County that damages copper pipes leading to the very high incidence of slab leaks.. Ask your neighbors if they have had one and you may be very surprised at how many of the respond in the positive.. It would cost you less to go with a patch..or work around.. but.. if you have to do it again and again, I'm sure it would cost a lot more in the long run, not to mention the inconvenience and potential property damage.

I chose to address my leak by utilizing E-pipe to put an end to this problem.. no bandaid for me... A couple of days before the job, they visited my house and set up a temporary fix so that I would have water in my house for the weekend.. that was really appreciated.

My repairs were done this week 6-8-16, the crew arrived on time and began work early on that day.. It is amazing the amount of equipment that is required to complete a job like this.. A couple of points: The crews were very careful to cover my hardwood floors with a soft carpet to prevent any damage during the repairs.

The job took a day and a morning to complete.. The crews replaced all of my water valves in the house.. nice, I will not have to worry about frozen or cruddy valves for many, many years..

At the completion of the job, any holes were patched, the house was cleaned up and it is now better than new.. Better than new ? you ask ? yes, I now have a water system that should not leak for decades (I hope).. I'm sure it will add to my re-sale value when it is time to sell.

I highly reccomed E-Pipe to anyone who want to put an end to the nightmare of slab leaks.. these guys are quick, clean, professional and have a lot of respect for your home..

Lastly, I even noticed an improved water pressure in my home.. my low flow shower head now feels like a high flow.. nice..

I am now a strong advocate of this process and plan on sharing my experience with all of my neighbors as well.. I do hope you choose this process for your home..

I know that many of our friends here in ""Leaky Niguel"" struggle with the decision whether to repipe or E-pipe. Epipe is the epoxy that is blown through your pipes. 5 years ago, we did our homework, counted the cost, and decided that it would be better to epoxy than repipe. Each of the issues have their problems, but epipe seemed to have less problems at the time. Four and 1/2 years ago we left for 10 days because they needed the water off for a week. The thing we liked was that they have a 10 year warranty. Since we had had 7 leaks in 14 years, we figured a 10 year break would be good. Well, 4.5 years later, we find that their warranty is to only repair the costs, not for any ancillary damage. That is after we read the contract. I guess if we had read that it didn't cover any ancillary damage we would have understood that they don't stand behind their product. We used Pipe Restoration, Inc., based in Santa Ana. Here is the compilation of our results:
Saturday, February 27, 2016 7:30 am - come downstairs to find water all over the surface of the kitchen floor, the eating area floor, and the dining room carpet soaked. We can hear the water coming out of the pipe. We shut off the water.
8:00 am - call Epipe, instead of our usual, reliable plumbers, to make sure they handle it and to keep the warranty intact.
8:30 am - get a call back from SOS plumbing that a plumber will be there
11:00 am - SOS plumber shows up at our door. We have already pulled out the drawers, with an open panel to show him where it is leaking. He wanders around our entire house for about 2 hours, upstairs and downstairs, with his listening devices, with the water both on and off, and about 1:00 PM he tells us that he can't determine where the leak is and he thinks it is a slab leak. We tell him to open the wall opposite of where it is leaking behind the cabinet drawers and he tells us that he ""is not authorized"" to open up the wall. He turns off the water and tells us to have a nice weekend.
Sunday, February 28th, I call Epipe again, asking them to send out a plumber so that we can have our water restored. I am told someone will contact me on Monday morning.
Monday, February 29th, finally SOS and Epipe come, open up the wall that we had requested to be opened on Saturday, find the leak about 1 inch above the slab, replace the pipe, rip open more of the wall, take the baseboards, find fans for the carpeting, and we have water restored by about 10:30am.
Tuesday, March 1st, Epipe comes by and adds a fan.
Friday, March 4th, Epipe comes by and removes the fans.
Tuesday, March 8th, Epipe calls and asks if we have more baseboard to match because they accidently threw away the old, wet baseboard.
Monday, March 14th, I leave a message, asking what the next steps are. The wall is still open, and the carpeting is still not set.
Monday, March 21st, I leave a message, asking what I need to do next. The wall is still open, and the carpeting not set.
Monday, April 4th, I leave a message, asking what I need to do next. The wall has now been open over 5 weeks. Later on that afternoon, a contractor that we had contracted with to work on our bathrooms, came to get his sub-contractors started. After he is done working on getting the bathrooms demolished, I pull him into the kitchen area and show him the wall that has been open for 35 days and ask how much it would be to patch up the wall. He looks at the jagged cut, and determines that there is black mold.
I call Epipe and leave a message saying that black mold has been found. I get a return call and they said that I need to call a mold remediation company, that they don't cover. He said when that was done, they would get their dry wall guys out to fix the hole. Hello? It has been 6 weeks, was anyone ever going to call? They didn't know we had black mold. In fact, it probably wasn't there before the leak and has grown since the leak. I take to their Facebook page, trying to get someone's attention.
Tuesday, April 5th, I call Epipe again, leaving a message, asking for help with mold remediation, and I receive a return call that it is not covered. I then told them that I would be sure to register my displeasure on Facebook, Yelp, Angie's List, etc. And the guy, said, ""Oh well."" Later that day, our contractor recommends a mold remediation service. I call and set up an appointment.
Friday, April 8th, Mold remediation starts to the tune of $3000. Kitchen cabinets all taken out.
Epipe blocks me on their Facebook page.
Thursday, April 14th, Mold remediation ends.
Monday, April 18th, we get a quote from our contractor to have our kitchen put back together: $13,500.
Thursday, April 21st, 8 weeks after Epipe tore open the wall to fix the pipe, the contractor that we have been working with for our bathrooms, has his subcontractor drywall the kitchen area that was dismantled by the mold remediation company.
Tuesday, April 26th, A mutual friend writes us an email, while we are traveling saying that

After having 4 slab leaks I went this route and am completely satisfied!
The crew that performed my restoration were very professional and could not have been nicer! They also left my house in tip top shape and clean. I would highly recommend them. You will be relieved not to have to worry about leaks any more!
