Not sure how this business has 4.8 stars. As previous reviewers have stated, this business significantly overcharges for their services. The plumber that came out was extremely nice and helpful, but if you have questions regarding the excessive estimates the business owner Tim won't talk to customers and instead hides behind a women at home answering the phone who says she doesn't know why the charges are so high and the owner isn't available to answer questions. Have used many businesses over the years but would not recommend this one. Greedy overcharging, and poor customer service to say the least.

They were available, their customer service was professional and efficient in setting up an appointment. They provided an estimate in advance and stuck to it. They showed up on time and proficiently did the job.

Tim just completed a repair in my master bathroom and did a great job. He definitely knows his trade. But what really impressed me was his honesty. During the ""on-site assessment"" visit he told me that an outdoor faucet replacement I was considering was unnecessary at the moment. He did a quick adjustment that stopped the minor leak. It's so refreshing to work with a professional who has integrity.

Our water heater broke. We called Encinitas Plumbing after our usual plumber (who had been bought out by another company) tried to upsell us and then gave us a horrendously high estimate.

We called a few other plumbers, and chose Encinitas Plumbing. They showed up that day, diagnosed the problem, gave us a fair price (including voluntarily offering a parts and labor breakdown), and then did a very nice job.

These folks will be our go-to plumbers going forward.

The drain from my washing machine and a utility sink was plugged. The plumbers quickly diagnosed the problem and formulated a repair solution and promptly informed me. They provided an estimate of repair costs that was very reasonable and completed the work for that amount. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and kept me in good communication. I will definitely be using them again for future plumbing repair needs.

These guys were just EXCELLENT; while they were here diagnosing a bathroom sink issue my washer machine in the laundry room exploded and water came pouring everywhere! It's a pretty big house so I wouldn't have heard it unless they let me know. They also helped with the new emergency, helping clean up and then fixing the faucet drip. They were fair, friendly and very reasonable pricing. But it was the Good Samaritan and going above and beyond for me. Thanks so much again!
