In 1970, David Duck founded Mr. Rooter Plumbing, launching the first location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Duck started his own plumbing company, naming it Mr. Rooter. In 1989, Duck sold Mr. Rooter Plumbing to The Neighborly Group following discussions with Don Neighborly. Although Duck sold the rights to the business and original franchises, he kept his shop location in Oklahoma City. David Duck is still a franchise owner to this day. I feel like plumbing is in my blood as a 4th generation plumber; I spent my childhood dismantling the new parts our plumbers needed; they required the tools to be locked up, but I always managed to find a way. In 1989, I started working with my grandfather during school breaks, working the family business until 2004 when I launched my own (while still collaborating with my dad as a subcontractor). I possess a diverse background in repair, remodel, new construction, and plumbing for both commercial and residential projects. I enjoy helping others and providing quality service. I’m originally from South Carolina; my family business began in 1953, and I joined them in 1989, then started my own in 2004, bought my family business from my dad in 2015, and passed it to my adopted son/brother-in-law in 2021 when I started this business in the Flathead Valley. With more than thirty years of experience, I have learned from three previous generations. I appreciate your time and look forward to serving you in this wonderful region. Plumbing service is just one of the many ways I contribute to my community. I also serve as the volunteer head Chief at Bad Rock Fire Department, which helps me keep the community safe. I appreciate attending church and being with my family and friends as often as I can.
