In 1970, David Duck founded Mr. Rooter Plumbing, launching the first location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Duck started his own plumbing company, naming it Mr. Rooter. After negotiations with Don Neighborly, Duck sold Mr. Rooter Plumbing to The Neighborly Group in 1989. Despite selling the business rights and original franchises, Duck maintained his shop in Oklahoma City. Today, David Duck remains a franchise owner. As a 4th generation plumber, it seems I was born for this; I grew up disassembling the new parts our plumbers needed; they demanded the tools to be secured, but I always found a way. I began working with my grandfather when I wasn’t in school in 1989, working the family business until 2004 when I started my own (still collaborating with my dad as a subcontractor). My experience spans repair, remodel, new construction, and both commercial and residential plumbing. I enjoy helping others and providing quality service. I’m originally from South Carolina; my family business began in 1953, and I joined them in 1989, then started my own in 2004, bought my family business from my dad in 2015, and passed it to my adopted son/brother-in-law in 2021 when I started this business in the Flathead Valley. I bring over thirty years of experience, having been trained by three generations before me. Thanks for taking the time to read; I am eager to serve you in this beautiful area. Offering plumbing services is just one of the ways I support my community. Being the volunteer head Chief at Bad Rock Fire Department allows me to contribute to community safety. I love going to church and cherishing time with my family and friends whenever possible.
