My appointment window was 10-12. I took off from work. Needed a new toilet installed. They said they would call 20 minutes before they arrive. At 12 o'clock I called . The person on the phone said the plumber was running 30 minutes late. I called back at 1pm. The same lady said he should be arriving soon. At 2 pm I called she said sorry but he is not finished at his first location. Do I want to reschedule? Are you kidding me (I said) I took off work and literally waited all day. The plumber showed up at 3:15..The price quoted was $175 - $225 per item. They never gave me a final amount until he finished . Of course more then the quote $275 per toilet. Yes the plumber was good. But way to much aggravation. All the reviews are on target.

Previously recommended by my building (not anymore). They understand that my building only allows for a 3h window for the water shutdown. Made it very clear that they need to be there at 10am in order to install the toilet. I confirmed with them the day before and the same day at 9:30 to ensure that they're coming and will be on time. Was promised that the plumber is coming after he finishes another job, at the latest 11am. At 11:15 I called them, and they said they only have one plumber and that he is currently busy with an """"emergency leak"""". Called several more times and every time it was another excuse, and in the end nobody came. It's a total joke of a company. Especially since this happened to me 3 weeks earlier with another plumbing company and I was extremely clear about the situation, so these clowns should have known better. Don't rely on them under any circumstance if you need a plumber to come during a specific water shutdown window. They will NOT show up on time and your water shutoff will have been in vain. Take a different company that has a basic level of professionalism and where people actually want to work.

I used Empire several times for plumbing issues and always had incredible service. When I purchased a new house and needed an opinion on the pipes I called them immediately. The owner called me and gave me incredible advice! He even offered to meet me at the house to devise a plan to update anything necessary. The owner is passionate and truly concerned with customer service and their reputation. A definite 5 star review and call them if you need a plumbing specialist!

I wouldn't recommend using this company, everyday for over a week they told me that they where just about ready to produce an estimate for a pool heater connection but they never did... Until I found someone else. Just a complete waist of time.

after setting up a review 2 days in advance and letting them know this was critical, they made me wait all day Friday - until 5 PM in Miami Beach during a vacation and i had to call to find out that they wouldn't make it... Just complete shit service and crappy attitudes.. good place to go if you want to meet some ex cons.

Very bad customer service. The lady on the phone wasn't clear when making an appointment and providing the plumber's insurance. She told me after 2 days calling her that the plumber's licence takes up to 72 hours (when on the beginning she said it was only a few minutes) and I have to notify the association 24 hours before, and of course, reschedule my appointment again due to her mistake. She made me waste 2 days and my time calling her. She has no idea how to deal with clients, and it is not patient and constantly interrupting me while I was trying to explain one more time my concern. Once I told her that because she made a mistake I have to reschedule, all of a sudden she decided not to provide the service. What a shame that persons like her make a company look so bad.

Very very bad customer service, I am very disappointed. The technician came to my place in order to install a brand new stove and he refused to do that because the machinery was still wrap and closed in a box. He didn't ask for help, he just left. Outrageous

This place has a standard service fee of $175 just to show up... without even doing anything, that's a rip off, and that fee does not go towards any parts or actually servicing the problem, don't call this place, they are ridiculous!!!!!!! So if your problem cost $7 they still charge you $175 just to tell you the problem will cost $7 to fix... don't support a place like this...

I hired Empire Plumbing for the remodeling of my apartment in South Beach and they did a great job ! All inspections passed and they always showed up or came back when needed in a timely manner. I will definitely hire them again in the future.

AMAZING SERVICE From the moment they picked up the phone I knew we were in great hands!! They are both reliable and honest. 2 things you don't find very often anymore. Al listened to me completely and fully. He called called in Phil to confirm what he felt it was before sending out Guillermo to my home who is as nice as he can be. Easy to schedule and ON TIME!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE IN NEED!!!
