This place has a standard service fee of $175 just to show up... without even doing anything, that's a rip off, and that fee does not go towards any parts or actually servicing the problem, don't call this place, they are ridiculous!!!!!!! So if your problem cost $7 they still charge you $175 just to tell you the problem will cost $7 to fix... don't support a place like this...

I used Empire several times for plumbing issues and always had incredible service. When I purchased a new house and needed an opinion on the pipes I called them immediately. The owner called me and gave me incredible advice! He even offered to meet me at the house to devise a plan to update anything necessary. The owner is passionate and truly concerned with customer service and their reputation. A definite 5 star review and call them if you need a plumbing specialist!

A double treat: unqualified plumbers and management that does not honor their own warranty. Empire's plumber came to fix a leaking garbage disposer (which was new and just installed by a different company). The plumber said that the leak is due to wrong putty being used. He fitted correct putty and after charging $175, promised that it would not leak for many years. 11 months later, the disposer is leaking again, which had ruined my kitchen cabinet. Here is a recap of my conversations with Empire's manager - Yajaira Soto. 1. Yajaira: """"We never did the work. Show us the invoice."""" 2. I sent the invoice. Yajaira after receiving the invoice: """"It is not our invoice. I don't know where you got it. We can come and fix the leak but will charge you because the warranty expired."""" 3. Me: """"How long is your warranty?"""" Yajaira: """"1 year"""". Me: """"It has not been a year yet."""" Yajaira: """"We cannot help you."""" and on and on... Mold problems, frustrations, ruined cabinet and underflooring, and $175 out of pocket for all these pleasantries. I absolutely recommend for you to use Empire Plumbing if you wish to receive the same treatment.

Very very bad customer service, I am very disappointed. The technician came to my place in order to install a brand new stove and he refused to do that because the machinery was still wrap and closed in a box. He didn't ask for help, he just left. Outrageous

Be aware of this company!!!! I called yesterday morning to schedule a plumber to come and fix a leaking under my sink. The girl over the phone she ensured me a plumber will be arriving from 12 to 2pm. I took some hours off from work and just waited for him to come for hours. I called back and the lady over the phone she said the plumber will be probably arriving in 1 hour or so. I was a little bit confuse since they are literally next door from my house. However - I waited more. Long story short NO PLUMBER EVER SHOW UP OR CALL. Literally took a day off from work to waiting around for this unprofessional and unreliable people. Don't waste your money with this company! Now I understand why so many low ratings...

Rip off, thieves, do not call them. Had a leak from 2 sinks in my tri sink commercial sink, called empire, they said they were busy and would send someone the following day between 12-2. First call was on a Tuesday. After a no show and no calls from them, I called at 4pm on a Wednesday and they said a guy is on the way. He showed up at 5, checked the leaks, said the company will contact me with an estimate. No estimate and no calls for 2 days. Called them again on Friday, 2 days later, they said I will receive an estimate by the end of the day. That means no one will come to fix the leak that day and I would have to wait till monday. Still no estimate, called again Monday, still no estimate. Called Tuesday they said they sent it, I never got it, I told them never mind, can you please tell me what the estimate is, they gave me a quote for 1875$, I told them they're out of they're mind and it's outrageous. I'm not a plumber but I'm not stupid and thank god I'm pretty handy, went to Home Depot, bought new pipes, strainers, sealants, washers and all tools needed for the job. Total cost me 126$ and 1 hour of work. 126$!!!!! Estimate for 1875$???????? Fixed both leaks, all commercial grade parts. Unbelievable. Will never call them again.

They had me wait an entire day I had an appointment and never showed. I rescheduled the following day for 9:30 am.... They still haven't showed. The reception acts like she knows it all .... I think their actions show they have no clue! Don't waste your time with this company.

I recommend strongly against using Empire. I think that they are generally honest, but simply incompetent. Over a month ago, we called Empire to make what we thought was a simple repair. The temperature control on our Kohler shower did not work. Another faucet in another shower did not work at all. We called Empire. They sent out a rep. He he agreed it did not work. He said that parts were broken in both showers and said that they would order new parts. He took photos-but no information regarding part numbers our faucet models. He said that was unnecessary. After some time, likely 10 days, Empire advised us that one of the parts we needed were on back order. Weeks weeks by. But finally, after a few false alarms (""""they sent the part"""" the part didn't come"""") Empire called to tell us that the part had arrived. Their rep came out. And said it was the wrong part. It appears that the people from Empire are not sophisticated enough to order by part number. Instead, they take a picture of your plumbing, send it to the manufacturer and let the manufacturer figure out what part you need. And according to Empire, Kohler figured wrong. On both showers. That is right-after weeks of waiting, Empire was still unable to fix anything because they had ordered the wrong parts. Which I guess means that we waited because a part we did not need was on back order. As for the part we did need, Empire wanted to think that over. And of course, Empire was up for trying again. But in this entire time, nobody from Empire told us what was wrong or broken and why parts needed replacement as opposed to repair. To the extent that Empire can do more than screw in and out duplicate pieces of plumbing-they did not demonstrate any such skill here. So I decided to go with another plumber, one who could explain the problem and fix it. Now to be fair, Empire did not charge us for any of this. But if you want a plumber who can fix your problems in a reasonable time frame as well as for a reasonable cost-look elsewhere.

I had a leak in my kitchen sink. I made an appointment. Dispatch said someone would be there between 11-1pm. So I waited...and waited...no one ever showed or called to say they wouldn't be coming. So I went about my day. I'm outside in the park with my dog at 2:30 and my doorman calls to tell me Empire is here...only an hour and half late and no call to warn me he's on his way. great customer service! NOT on the plus side, he was done in 20 minutes. knew what he was doing. showed me faulty part so I knew what happened. nice guy. just not a very professional operation.

Excellent customer service and repairman. I called today to get my shower drain fixed. My call was answered quickly and the associate was knowledgeable and friendly. I was told my appointment was between 1-3pm. The repairman arrived promptly at 1pm and solved and fixed my drain within 20 mins! It great to see a company treat their customers well and have friendly an knowledgeable staff. Will use again for all my plumbing needs
