I recommend strongly against using Empire. I think that they are generally honest, but simply incompetent. Over a month ago, we called Empire to make what we thought was a simple repair. The temperature control on our Kohler shower did not work. Another faucet in another shower did not work at all. We called Empire. They sent out a rep. He he agreed it did not work. He said that parts were broken in both showers and said that they would order new parts. He took photos-but no information regarding part numbers our faucet models. He said that was unnecessary. After some time, likely 10 days, Empire advised us that one of the parts we needed were on back order. Weeks weeks by. But finally, after a few false alarms (""""they sent the part"""" the part didn't come"""") Empire called to tell us that the part had arrived. Their rep came out. And said it was the wrong part. It appears that the people from Empire are not sophisticated enough to order by part number. Instead, they take a picture of your plumbing, send it to the manufacturer and let the manufacturer figure out what part you need. And according to Empire, Kohler figured wrong. On both showers. That is right-after weeks of waiting, Empire was still unable to fix anything because they had ordered the wrong parts. Which I guess means that we waited because a part we did not need was on back order. As for the part we did need, Empire wanted to think that over. And of course, Empire was up for trying again. But in this entire time, nobody from Empire told us what was wrong or broken and why parts needed replacement as opposed to repair. To the extent that Empire can do more than screw in and out duplicate pieces of plumbing-they did not demonstrate any such skill here. So I decided to go with another plumber, one who could explain the problem and fix it. Now to be fair, Empire did not charge us for any of this. But if you want a plumber who can fix your problems in a reasonable time frame as well as for a reasonable cost-look elsewhere.

I have had Empire come in a few times over the past decade and they have always done a great job with, by Miami standards (at least licensed Miami standards) extremely fair prices. Their plumbers take their time to do the job right, and anything they have fixed for me has stayed fixed.

I don't think there is a more reliable on time caring company in all of Miami. There is nothing bad to say at all. From the staff that answers the phone promptly to Juan Garcia who worked explaining everything along the way. Complete complete trust.. Please use them !!!!

2 appointments and 2 no-shows, even with persistent calling from me to confirm. I'm sure they do a great job when they show up.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews for this company. I am a property manager in Miami Beach and I had lost 2 weeks with two other plumbing companies who were dragging their feet to get a permit for a water heater replacement. Empire Plumbing got the permit and did the job within 48 hours. The job was competitively priced and of very good quality. It wasn't a simple water heater because it required installing a divider between it and the AC unit above. Overall I have to say that I was very impressed with this company and plan on using them again and highly recommending them to everyone.

I called and the plumber arrived in about 30 minutes to fix one toilet. As long as he was here I had him check the other, which needed a minor fix, and also snake a tub drain. He was clean, courteous and honest and I paid a fair price - not cheap but certainly in line with what others charge. In Miami Beach if you live in old condo buildings, you're going to have plumbing issues, so having a reliable plumber is important. Thank you!

They had me wait an entire day I had an appointment and never showed. I rescheduled the following day for 9:30 am.... They still haven't showed. The reception acts like she knows it all .... I think their actions show they have no clue! Don't waste your time with this company.

This is a horrible company and you should avoid using them. I called to make an appt the night before for a morning appt. between 9 and 11. By 10:30 I called to see when they would show up. They said they would call me right back, well, they didn't call until 1 pm. After they didn't call right back I called another company. When they called at 1 they said they called my home and work numbers, the work number I didn't instruct them to call. I had no missed calls on my other phone, so they lied. At 1 pm they said since they called me early and I didn't answer, they sent the repair guy to the next job. So, tell me, if that was the case, why didn't they tell me that at 10:30 instead of 1 pm. I will NEVER use them again.

I have been doing business with Empire Plumbing over many years. Their work is first class, and long lasting. It is wonderful to have such a good plumbing company near home.

Called Empire for a partial repiping estimate yesterday and they said they could get someone out this morning at 8am. We called to reconfirm at 730 and they told us they would call us back. They call us back at 8 and tell us they can't come at 8 and that it will cost $275 for an estimate. Completely inconsiderate and unprofessional to waste our time like this. Horrible service and communication and the most expensive price just to get a quote I'd ever heard of. Absurd.
