Our plumber was on time. He was knowledgeable. Very professional. Gave a fair quote/estimate - parts & labor. Completed the job in the time allotted. Definitely will use again for all future repairs.

I've used Emory Plumbing several times for plumbing work related to kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and each time they've done great work, are prompt, and reasonably priced. They have great customer service. Carlos is very knowledgeable and his work is excellent.

I needed the job done same day, and a couple of other Plumbing companies could only give me a next-day time, which I totally understood. But, on calling Emory Plumbing, Carlos was at my home within three hours, the time given.
Even though I'd already tried to clear the drain myself to no avail, Carlos was not only efficient and knowledgeable, but was a gentleman and not hesitant in giving advice on how to avoid a repeat situation, and on how to fix it if it happened. I would recommend Emory (and Carlos) to anyone. Thank you.

Customer service was fantastic. They returned my call immediately and were able to schedule an appointment at my convenience. Estimate fee a little high but satisfied with service.

I am a first-time homeowner. Like, as first as it gets. My wife and I moved into our new home, and immediately discovered there was a small gas leak from a rusted-out fireplace line. SDGE was apologetic we'd have to spend some money, but had to turn our gas off (completely understandable) until we could get the repairs and an inspection made with SDGE and a plumber, with a pressure test.

Literally the scariest thing ever is calling a plumber when you don't know how much it's going to cost or what all they need to do. So I made a horrible mistake and went on that HomeAdvisor website, put in my info, and within a minute my phone rang. The people (who I'll decline to mention by name) seemed amenable, nice, and they sent someone out that day to check it out while I was at work. The actual plumber called and told me that between removal of the fireplace line (we had no intent on using it) and the pressure test it was going to be almost $1400 all-together, granted they didn't have to fix any other leaks. ""Sure, whatever,"" I had to say as I set up an appointment for the next morning, but between the demeanor of the plumber on the phone and my own gut, something didn't feel right.

The next morning I woke up with that feeling still gnawing at me, so I went on the internet to do some research. Most of the numbers I found as far as price went were waaay lower (they were also in Atlanta), and the plumbing co. that had signed on to do the work had some, well, less-than-favorable reviews in regards to price-gouging. I'd messed up. I called the plumbers, and told them I had someone else coming in (thank goodness I hadn't had any work done yet).

I immediately contacted Emory because of their good reviews here on Yelp, and also because I drive past the building on the 8 every day. I figured a firm that visible can't afford to be bad. The woman on the phone was amazing, telling me their rates per hour and what I could expect. I was able to have them go out that day and assess the current situation, remove the fireplace line, and run a pressure test. Said pressure test failed, as it lost a lb of pressure over 15 minutes (it's got to hold 15 psi for 15 minutes to pass), so the plumber contacted me, we talked, he told me there was another leak, likely under the house as well, they were going to try to find it and patch it the next day, and to text him if I had any questions. He was very responsive to my texts, within reason (I may have sent an after-dinner text he didn't respond to, but we're all off the clock at some point), and I received a call from Emory two days later telling me they were at the house, with the SDGE inspector, and I had passed. It took two-and-a-half days all-together, and I didn't have to worry about anything after that first call.

Fast-forward to a few weeks later, when I received my invoice. Total was more than $600 less than ""the other guys"" had quoted me at to just remove an unused line and run a pressure test. Emory removed a line, pressure tested my whole system twice, located and repaired another leak, and gave me complete peace of mind for a fair price. Emory is totally on the level; I will definitely be recommending and using them in the future!

I called Emory regarding a plumbing leak. They did a fantastic job fixing the problem and cleaning up afterwards. I will most definitely give them a call back for my future plumbing issues.

We had a leak in the gas line to the pool heater and it needed a replacement.
Emory gave an estimate of $11,800 plus a charge of $96 for the site visit.
Ace Contractors completed the same job for $3,000. What a difference!!!
Emory Plumbing is obviously overcharging for their services.
I would NOT recommend them at all. Be careful and get another estimate !!!!!

Terrible customer service. When company came to our house to perform routine maintenance on our heating system we suspected a problem with one of their employees who entered our house. I called their office several times to discuss the problem, but he manager was always ""too busy"" to discuss the issue. After 4 weeks the "" secretary"" tells me they will not return to finish the work they started. I had to call another plumber to finish the work they started. I would not recommend this company.

On the whole I was very pleased with the level of service I received from Emory Plumbing. The two technicians were very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining to me what the issue was, how they fixed it, and what I should be aware of in the future. My only issue (and it was a minor one at that) was that I don't think I received a text or phone call letting me know they were 5 or 10 minutes out. That would have been a little helpful so I could have escorted them into the vacation rental that was being used at the time.
