I have been happy using Emory Plumbing Services for years at my Rental Property with no issues, until I had to repair a pipe leak in my laundry room at my own residence. I had a pipe leak in my laundry room and they charge me $326 for a simple pipe leak fix!!!

Fist they billed me for 3 hours when it should have been 2:40 hours. Fortunately they corrected the bill and reduce it to 2:30 hours, but a customer should be billed honestly and correctly in the first place.

Then it took the plumber 3 attempts to fix a simple pipe leak. He tried the propress method twice and both times were unsuccessful, adding unnecessary labor time and materials which means more cost to me. The plumber realized this method would not work and proceed to remove the pipe section and use soldering instead, which finally solved the issue right away. These fail attempts for fixing a broken pipe added unnecessary time to a project that could have been fixed in less than an hour. I don't know why the plumber didn't choose the soldering solution to begin with which could have been efficient, resulting in saving me labor time and materials.

I wanted to add all the email documentation to this review but yelp has a character limitation. I am more than welcome to make it available if need it. The email documentation clearly show the low customer service they provide. Emory could have been a good service in the past but my recent experience with them will be the last. A simple bill adjustment could have made me a returning happy customer but they preferred to bill their customers incorrectly.

I decided not to use their services because of the poor customer service I received on my phone call to try and get a quote. I called three times because the first two times I dialed in I was hung up on (after waiting about 10 minutes each time for someone to answer the call). They picked up and then immediately hung up before speaking. I guess they were busy and thought it would be easier just to hang up the phone call rather than taking it. On the third try, someone did pick up. Before I could speak, she told me that service was not provided on the weekend unless it was an emergency. That would have been a perfectly acceptable statement had she not been unbelievably rude when she said it. Definitely, not service with a smile. I explained that I was hoping to get someone to come out to provide a quote (I didn't say that I wanted a quote today). She argued back that she already told me that no one could respond to me until the next business day. Since she was overall rude and combative, I realized that with all the other 5-star plumbers listed on yelp, I was better off calling one of them. Customer service is not just saying the correct thing, but it's how you say it.

First time user for Emory plumbing. I read some reviews and went with them, specifically asking for Carlos. No complaints, they helped fix the problem, explained it so we knew what was going on 31st a grid price. I'd recommend them if you're looking for an honest plumber.

I am a real estate broker and have used several camera inspection companies in the past. Emory is the one I chose to inspect for my own sister. The came out quick were reasonably priced but more importantly found problems with cast iron plumbing that had been penetrated by tree roots. Seller credited us the repair costs and my sister was very happy. Thanks guys!!

From the first phone call until after the service was completed, the staff members at Emory Plumbing were courteous and efficient. The person who gave me the initial estimate left me feeling assured that there would be no hidden fees. The wait time for service was short, and the plumber, Carlos, was friendly and helpful. Carlos from Emory came for the 2nd time to fix our garbage disposal. He remembered us so he was able to see the problem right away and start the work. He was very friendly and fixed our problem thoroughly. He also gave us a list of things we needed to do to ensure this didn't happen again. We were very pleased with the service!
