Update: 2/27/19 The owner came out to address the issue and attempt to fix the system. They owner has great customer service. Hopefully he trains the rest of his employees. I will give 3 stars since the owner Calvin was excellent. Will wait to see if the system works better now. They talked us into a propane setup that should be wonderful but has been nothing but headaches! Always doesn't work and now leaking gas from the tank! Called numerous times to complain about this setup since we got it and they always say they will follow up and get back to us but never do. Really not happy with the product and the service with this company.

Wow! The shamelessness of this company is breathtaking! I just needed an outside line unclogged. The technician, after tapping on his iPad for so long I wondered what on earth could he be doing, came up with a ""premium service"" price of $1,983. There is nothing in the world that could justify that amount of money, short of digging up and replacing the entire drain line. Option 2 over $1200, option 3 around $700. He could see I wasn't buying it so he gave me the rock bottom of almost $400. There was no way I was going to pay that much to snake a drain! So he asked for his $99 fee for showing up. A hundred bucks just to avoid getting gouged? I don't think so. But I get it, they need that money because 99% must be SHOCKED at the price and send them on their way. I will say Jan in the office was very nice and efficient, they showed up ahead of schedule and were one of the most professional rip-offs I've dealt with. I got the drain snaked beyond my expectations from A-1 Budget for $175 including the emergency fee. And he did it in less time than EPS took to do the 3 bids.

While on the mainland, had a rodent chew thru PEX water line in my Ko Olina town home attic on a Sunday. Called EPS for emergency repair. They did the repair and I had another leak on Monday, so I had them repair that as well. Both times the repair costs were ridiculously high, but I needed the leaks stopped to stop the flooding. Turns out the rodent chewed thru both of their repairs within 24 hrs. Frustrated I called another plumber, Sage Plumbing in Kapolei for a second opinion. He repaired the work that EPS did incorrectly and explained that because they crimped their ""Shark Bite"" part over the items wrapper without removing the wrapper, it compromised the crimp allowing slight seepage of moisture which attracted the rodent to chew thru both repair spots, because they are dehydrating after eating rodent poison. I spoke with a office person at EPS regarding my complaints and she told me a manager would be calling me back. I'm still awaiting that callback, because it never happened. Sage Plumbing rocks and their work solved all the issues. Highly recommend you stay away from EPS and call SAGE Plumbing in Kapolei instead. Their prices are very reasonable also!

Contacted EP&S through Yelp, they responded the same day and was ready to set an appointment on a Sunday! I let them know Monday would be fine cause I'm sure weekends are more expensive. We set an appointment for 10am to noon. Perfect. Jan was very professional and courteous on the phone...it was very pleasant. Monday....Jan called me before my time to ensure I was home and she would dispatch the workers. she let me know that Grant will be my technician. Shortly after we hung up, I received a text with Grant's picture standing next to their logo on their storefront with license number included. Very nice touch. I also received an email with the same information. Grant arrived not too long after that with an assistant, Josiah. They took a look, then talked to me about the snaking. Grant had an iPad with information on the different plans they have. Not only do they have a one-time snaking, but more plans that will cover you over time. Very cool. I opted for just the simple plan which gave me a 30-day guarantee. It's quite expensive although I didn't mind it too much being that I could see what a professional company this is. If you want a down and dirty cheap plumber...this is not the company for you. But if you want care, extra effort, etc. then call these guys. I made my payment right on the iPad and once you agree to receive service, the travel fee is deleted. Forgot to mention there is a travel fee that they quote you once you make an appointment. So they went back to their truck and got what they needed and came right back and got to work. Once they snaked the line, they showed me what the snake came up with. They tested the line for a good while just to be sure or will snake again, cleaned up and made me sign again that work was completed to my satisfaction. Grant was nice enough to remind me that I do have 30 days if the clog comes back, they will come for free and resnake. Very nice touch. I don't know about others, but I appreciate when companies do take the extra time toward customer service. Yes, these types of companies might be more expensive, but it shows they are honorable, they have pride in what they do and they want to give you what you pay for. I'm all about the extras when it comes to customer service. I also understand there are companies that do charge you for extras that you don't receive. Rest assure, EP&S is not one of those. All in all it's been an excellent experience for me and I can use my bathroom sink again! Thank you!!

Our main sewer line has been backed up. I called and Jessica who answered the phone knew the exact questions to ask and she was very friendly and professional. They were able to schedule an appointment to come to our home the very next morning. Jhan Gear showed up on time and was very friendly. He did a very thorough assessment of our problems and was very articulate on our options. We ended up paying a little more than $800 for 4 hours although our plumping backup issue was NOT resolved. We will need to pay another $1700 to create a new ""cleanout access"" to resolve our plumping issues. In the meantime, we still cannot do laundry and we can only use 1 toilet & 1 shower. Although they're a little pricey, they ranked high in customer service to us (hence the 4 stars). We may consider using them in the future to repair our solar panels that also need repair.

Please be very careful with this company, they are SCAMMERS. They came to inspect my sewer pipes because I had a letter from the City and County for a possible leak in my sewer line. The technician scanned my pipes with his camera and told me I had a leak and quoted me $21,000. He also charged me $575 just by his inspection for an hour job. I thought that was ridiculous high so I got two more quotes. Can you believe those two companies inspected the same pipes and told me that I DID NOT have a leak. The smoke test that the City performed was bogus. The smoke came out from my clean out pipe. I am furious with this company. One of the companies who inspected my pipes said this company probably does not do the work but subcontracts it out. They are solar! They don't even deserve one star. Warning to all, don't even contact this company Lahela, In response to your comment below, I don't need any repair work. I DON'T have any leak!!! That's why I don't understand why your technician quoted me $21,000 for a job that doesn't need fixing. You should be ashamed of yourselves for charging me $575 for an hour work just to inspect my pipes while the other 2 companies did it for FREE. I will report you to the Better Business Bureau.

Like I said previously, I used them to replace my water heater and they were great and everything I had then replace was without issue. Thank you!
