Shoddy workmanship with sky high prices, and flakey scheduling is what you should expect with Emergency Plumbing and Solar. We had a supply line pipe to our water heater replaced by this plumbing company less than a year ago. They charged an insane $600 for a 20 minute job and put in a $20 flexible hose ! Now, just 10 months later the same line is leaking and spraying water all over the place. I called yesterday requesting that they come out and an appointment was scheduled from 2 - 4 pm. I immediately received a text message confirming the appointment. At 5pm after no one showed up, no courtesy call to update the timeframe, etc. So I call them and the women who answered the phone looked up the appointment and said that the plumber was just finishing up a job and we were next on the schedule and that he should be there soon, within an hour. Another 2 hours goes by and it is now 7pm, no plumber, no call, etc.... I call again and no one answers the phone, just goes to voicemail. I leave a message. Over the next 2 hours, I called 2 more times and no one picks up the phone, just goes to voicemail again. No returned calls, and the plumber never arrives. We wasted nearly the entire day and evening waiting around for these plumbers to show up. I would NOT RECOMMEND this plumbing company to anyone ! Don't waste your time and get ripped off by these flakes !

I feel like my pictures will speak for themselves. The plumber they sent, Zach, was clearly lazy and unprofessional. When we called him out on it he became combative so I had to call the main office. After too many follow ups on my part (since I had to take initiative to get them to follow up on a fix), they did send a different plumber to come fit it (Kyle), but how can you even employ someone so lazy and expect to get away with this level of poor quality work? They fixed the issue, yes, but I cannot give more stars because this was something that never should've been an issue in the first place and should have been rectified immediately instead of me constantly following up over the span of the following week. Best to find a different plumber for probably better value.

Toilet tank valve repair. Very responsive with business-specific background info let me know who I would be dealing with. Zach came in the next day within the quoted time window. Dealt with the issues of working with an old, cramped installation, including a flex hose tip that broke off. Quick service. Pricey to me, but haven't had to hire a plumber in many years.

This is a RIP off company..they charged me $519.00 ,just to install a $20.00 shut off valve...that was done in (40) minutes..STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY (EPS)

I was doing DIY bathroom renovation and accidentally drilled a hole thru the darn pipe. The pile was in a tricky area and I didn't want to do it myself. Called Emergency Plumbing and Solar and they responded right away. They came made a reasonable assessment and did the work the next day. Kaiwi came and did the job relatively quickly... very professionally.

Needed to replace our water heater. We called in the afternoon and Kyle accommodated our schedule and came soon after to assess the problem. He offered to replace it that evening but we agreed to have it replaced this morning. Very prompt response...sensitive to customer""s meds, knowledgeable,, professional. We are very happy with his service and skill...a job well done. We will be using EPS again and requesting for Kyle's service.

Mahalo nui to Lynn for helping us in our time of need. Kitchen sink overflowed the night before. We live in a condo, 2nd floor so all of our neighbors above us couldn't use their sinks or dishwashers. It was challenging trying to find someone to come before 9am but Lynn was able to make that happen! The plumber showed up (forgot his name) but he was kind and knew what he was doing. Fixed the problem and now everyone above us can go back to normal! A little pricey but it was urgent to get it done. Mahalo nui!!!

I had a laundry pipe that was 50 years old and totally rusted. Inside the pipe, Calvin used his camera and showed me what the pipe looked like. His service for the camera was complimentary so I was very surprised that it was done without any commitment from me. I had called another plumbing company that was referred by my realtor and their cost was $250 for the camera and $150 per hour for two plumbers. Yikes!! That was without the plumbing work that was required. Calvin said that he could clean out the pipe with his machine and if I wanted to keep it from corroding, I could line the pipes with one of two methods. He provided me the costs for the two methods and also said I also could just have it cleaned out and do the lining later. I chose to have the pipes cleaned so the tenants could use the laundry area immediately. The total cost included cleaning out the main pipe from the house to the city sewer which was also totally corroded. Other quotes from another plumbing company said they would dig up the existing pipes and replace them with ABS or PVC. Total cost was 1 1/2 more expensive than Emergency Plumbing and it would have torn up the driveway which would cost to have another contractor to repave it. I' m impressed with the professionalism of the technicians and also the efficiency of the office staff (Lenn) who kept me informed as the project was underway. Calvin provided the 3 estimates and did not try to pressure me to take the more expensive procedure. I have heard that some companies use scare tactics to try and get you to do the expensive lining otherwise your sewer drain will continue to clog and back up into the home. I will keep Emergency Plumbing in my phone contact and refer friends and relatives to call them before making a decision to hire a plumber. My realtor asked for their contact information as they are always looking for honest and efficient contractors who they can trust.

Thank you to the EPS team for responding to my emergency shower situation on a Sunday night. Our technician Harley did a great job on explaining what needed to get done as well as completing the job. Not sure on pricing about plumbing, but getting the tub spout fix & ready to use asap is truly worth every dollar. Also, since EPS was here working on this project I notified them on a possible leak and they are working on getting that fix as we speak. Thank you to Harley and the team.
