Home warranty contracted this plumber for my clog. Plumber didn't want to take off the toilet to clear the clog. Told me he could do it without the home warranty approval for $550! I told him no and to get approval. He said he would and he didn't. Instead he closed out my work order and said the job was complete and it wasn't. Lazy plumber and fraudulent. Couldn't use our showers and toilets and already had waited several days to come out. Don't use them if your home warranty contracts them! Should've known with all the other bad reviews!

They don't answer the phone. I am waiting for them to submit a report on an emergency situation and they are not responding to warranty company. This is horrific. If I could give negative stars I would.

This company is running a scam. they Lied about the service provided. They charge me for work they didn't do. And lied about it to the home warranty people now everything is coming to light and they're inventing new lies to cover the last ones. I will be filling a complaint against them as what they're doing is un professional and un ethical .The home warranty I use is also taking this seriously and filling a complaint in their side as they now know how un ethical this was.

Emergency Plumbing and Rooters was assigned to me by my home warranty company for a waterline that wasn't working. After initial visit, plumber came out and assessed our situation. He said he knew what the problem was (valve was stripped) and that he would order a replacement valve and install the following week once part arrived.... All this is covered by warranty. The following week I get a call from Emergency Plumbing stating that the warranty company would not cover the replacement part because it was considered a modification. I was thrown off guard because why would this be considered a modification, after all it was a broken part being replaced. They said that is what the warranty company told them and that he could be at my home shortly and install same day. I needed my problem fixed ASAP so I agreed to the appointment but told him I'd be contacting my warranty company to get this resolved. I called my warranty company and they did not know what was going on as they did not have a report yet, they said they would call the office and find out what was going on. The plumber arrived before the warranty company was able to get answers. I was charged for the replacement part. Once the warranty company was able to investigate, the plumbing company told them that the fee I paid was for ""modifications"" not for the replacement part. There was no modification done, I have proof. I've called the company several times and am still waiting for the manager to call me back. It is unfortunate to read that this is the norm for this company.

On two separate occasions, Tony has come through to replace my water heater and now, my leaky valves in the laundry room. He's incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and he always goes the extra mile to answer any pestering questions I have. Previously to Emergency Plumbing and Rooter, I had a technician from G&G Construction who claimed there was no leak... simply came in to tighten the valve and dismissed any concerns I had. Of course when another technician came to deliver my new laundry machine, they couldn't complete the order because of the leak. Luckily, Tony from Emergency Plumbing and Rooter came through. Thank you again so very much, Tony!

I was assigned this company by First America Home Warranty to fix my hot water heater. After paying the $75.00 fee for them to assess I did need a new hot water heater. I was shocked to learn I had to pay $600 additional that was for ""modifications "" aka money making scam between the Home Warranty company & their contractors. Example they charged $55 for a pan that is $15 in Home Depot.

Sooo I called and left 2 messages before the receptionist/scheduler called me back. She got very nasty when I asked her questions about the pricing. She told me to take the cash pay out from the home warranty?! What, that's NOT up to her. She was a complete b*tch.

The technician Rick they sent was however nice & knowledgeable. He had to get my husband to help him carry the hot water heater up the stairs because NO ONE from the office informed Rick it was upstairs. I think Rick did a good job tho.

I would probably never use this company if I wasn't forced to by my home warranty.

Hand an emergency stoppage, showed up 5 days later. The other fixes took two weeks to get back on. Miss guided us on the fixes and end up not getting the most critical issue done. I'm very unsatisfied and warn anyone who wants to work w them.

Not sure why the low rating. They were amazing at handling my water heater repair request through American Home Shield. I received a text verifying the appointment time and when the technician was on his way. Carsten was friendly and quick to do his job. Great job guys!

Told them it was a pipe in the wall leaking.

They came out - and in a very short time - told me - a slab leak. We don't do slab leaks.

Another plumber came out and fixed the pipe in the wall.

Save yourself extreme frustration by NOT engaging with this company. They have not earned the 2 1/2 stars it shows based on my experience with them. They were rude, unprofessional and completely apathetic. Tony came to our home 5 days after our home warranty (I don't recommend American Home Shield for your home warranty either) contacted them with our emergency. We had a leak coming from our water heater which meant our water had to be shut off until they were able to come out. When he did come out on a Tuesday, he was unable to perform the work that day and said he would come back out ""sometime next week"". He could not have cared less about our emergency situation. Needless to say, we did not pursue doing business with them and had our water heater fixed the next day by another company operated by people with much better character. ""Emergency"" Rooter and Plumbing is a joke.
