At Emerald Plumbing, we handle a variety of plumbing challenges, from residential to commercial. We specialize in re-piping, solar heating systems, tankless water heaters, water conditioning, and a wide array of services.

Founded in 1996 by Liam Cuddy, Emerald Plumbing began as a home-based operation. Word of mouth helped us grow swiftly. Liam hails from Dublin, Ireland, which inspired the name Emerald Plumbing. Ian Hanbury joined the team shortly after; he also grew up in a small village near Dublin.

We pride ourselves on our distinctive way of conducting business. Our staff treats one another and our customers as family. We value our relationships with each other and our customers. We recognize that our loyal customers are essential to our business.

Liam grew up in Dublin City, Ireland, where his plumbing journey began. Liam embarked on his plumbing career in 1979 as a young apprentice pipe fitter at just fifteen. In 1984, he left Ireland for Australia, taking on pipe fitting roles in oil refineries and chemical plants. He also gained experience in Holland and England, managing large projects before settling in Orlando in 1990. He founded Emerald Plumbing in 1996. Thanks to his dedication and commitment to high standards, the company saw quick growth. Liam feels a deep sense of pride in the company he has created.

Let me tell you about the horrible experience I had by phone with Emerald Plumbing today. As an owner of a rental I requested for them to look at an issue with my tub since they re-plumb the entire home June 2013 and im thinking it is a warranty issue. They were to make arrangements with the tenant for entry into the rental to check out the problem. I did not hear from them until i called and spoke with the tech who describe the issue and also informed me that they needed to order 1 more additional canister. So i said okay and i waited. According to my cell phone history the last time I spoke with them on December 7th regarding the status of the part that needed to be ordered. It has not come in at that time Let me add the only reason I found out about what the issue was and the status is because I had to call them. I haven't heard anything else so I called the tenant who informed that she doesn't work from home anymore so she hasn't been home to grant them access. Their lack of communication is horrible. Emerald Plumbing should have shared with me since I am the point of contact for any communication and payment on my rental. They failed to informed me that they were having issue getting access. If they were having issues i would have driven up to meet them and let them in myself. If it was a payment issue I bet my phone will be ringing non-stop but they conveniently wanted to blame me and tell me that they informed me that were having issues getting access to the unit. So when I called today Kira's tone and attitude was inappropriate. I called back and asked to speak with the manager of Kira and the Assistant Manager answered and she attempted to try and passed blame on to me as what I perceived as inappropriate. She went on to try and say she heard me yelling and that infruiated me because she was trying to say something to justify Kira's actions when in fact i wasnt yelling at all; not once did I raised my voice. Yes I repeatedly asked her question after question that she couldn't answered because they have no records of the work order. Conveniently, if it was money due to them they would be dialing my cell trying to collect and there would have been a work order. I will be posting an update because they now have to send a message out to all their workers to see who went out to do the work and what part were they waiting for.

Beware of this company!!!!! They do not stand by their work. If you have a problem after 30 days you are on your own. They are pleasant until you have a problem with their work. The president of the company would not even call us back to discuss the broken pipe they installed. BEWARE PLEASE!!! There are much better plumbing companies out there.

Great job and good customer service. Frank did my repair this morning, he was friendly and knowledgeable. When I made my appointment I was told they would arrive from 9-9:30, Frank called in the morning and advised of his arrival time. He was right within schedule. The repair was done within a reasonable time. I feel companies that charge per hour tend to prolong repairs on purpose to charge more and I didn't get that feeling with Emerald. This is the second time I use them and each time job has been done well. I would recommend them to a friend.

Called on a Saturday morning for a clogged main drain. Frank was there within 3 hours and fixed it. He was courteous, efficient, explained everything, and cleaned up after himself. The charge was ~$200 for an hour of work, but so it goes.

Waited at home for 4 hour window, and missed (because I have 3 small children which I was tending to) the 30 min warning """"courtesy"""" call. I tried to call back minutes later and they had already re routed the technician. 4 hours of my day wasted because of a 10 second window when the call was made. It was never communicated at the time appt was made that it would be cancelled if courtesy call wasn't answered. Very disappointed. It's a shame that trades like this take such advantage of your time and money.......

I gave two stars because if I wasn't busy with a scheduled day I would have been stoked the guy was early. And maybe it's not his fault Mirna has an attitude I scheduled an appointment a week ahead, they said I'd get a call 30 mins before, the guy shows up at least 15 mins early (appt is at 9 and I get home at 845) and at 915 I call to find out where he is. The lady answering the phone, Mirna(?), is defensive easily. She says he called me and no lights were on in my house and he left. I told her I was home at 9 with no call, she repeats herself in an annoyed tone that makes me just say goodbye, I'll get someone else. She calls back in a voicemail starting with, """"what I was going to say before you hung up is we can get you in later."""" If you show up early and I'm not here, that's great being early but I booked my whole day so leaving because youre early and then cutting me off before I can tell you that is rude. He could have been even earlier, who knows, but I was here 15 mins before the appointment. Also, Harvey's plumbing charges $95 the first hour and they charge $125 an hour and Harvey has just as good reviews. I would like to have my plumbing fixed today but not a fan of how their customer service is. Maybe they overbooked and were trying to get one in early to make it all happen but now I'm waiting a week for Harvey to come out with a leaky toilet because Mirna's attitude blows and I ain't helping pay that tone of voice.

UPDATE: After calling them several times they got my credit of $116.00. Since I thought they reneged on the credit, then I contacted the credit card company and I let that reach its conclusion. They gave me more credit. Why? I was billed for 3 hours of work NOT performed. They need to explain the flat fee better because they made it sound like if they were done in an hour then that was it. These are shady billing practices and myrna confuses people on purpose. This is not good. You can do better!

Had a window of 12-4pm to wait for service. At 3:30 I called to see if someone would be out still within my window. AFTER 4pm I got a call back telling me that they were running behind and would be out after 5:00 now. I find this very disrespectful of my time. Someone could have called earlier to at least give me a warning of a delay. Delays happen- but communicate. That's all it would have taken. When I called to let receptionist know, very nicely, that I no longer wanted their service because of this- she could not have cared less. I'd rather support a company that respects my time and values my business.
