Emerald Plumbing
Company Overview
We at Emerald Plumbing manage numerous plumbing problems, catering to both residential and commercial clients. Emerald Plumbing focuses on re-pipes, solar heating, tankless heaters, water conditioners, and various other plumbing solutions.
Founded in 1996 by Liam Cuddy, Emerald Plumbing began as a home-based operation. Our growth was rapid, fueled by word of mouth. Liam's Irish heritage from Dublin inspired the name of our company. Soon after, Ian Hanbury became part of our team, having been born in a village close to Dublin.
We pride ourselves on our distinctive way of conducting business. Our staff treats one another and our customers as family. Caring for one another and our clients is at the heart of what we do. We recognize that our loyal customers are essential to our business.
We are built on referrals and appreciate our lifetime customers. When we do a great job, our clients share their experiences with family and friends. We hope to have you join our family of customers.
Liam grew up in Dublin City, Ireland, where his plumbing journey began. He started his plumbing career as a fifteen-year-old apprentice pipe fitter in 1979. In 1984, he moved to Australia, working as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical plants. He also gained experience in Holland and England, managing large projects before settling in Orlando in 1990. He founded Emerald Plumbing in 1996. Through dedication and a commitment to quality, the company experienced immediate growth. Liam feels a deep sense of pride in the company he has created.

Recommended Customer Reviews

Emerald plumbing has been in service for 28 years. I've seen the business grow and I'm so happy about that. That's why the first time I needed them I called them directly. All of the service techs that have come out are super friendly courteous and very respectful. Namely Frank, he was so nice. I've never felt cheated in fact I feel relieved when they come out. Last tech that came out was very nice and answered questions to another issue just was having. He was just so helpful. Compared to other companies their prices are reasonable and affordable. I'm really happy that Liam has maintained a company of affordability and high integrity. Thank you so much. !!

I had them come out and repipe my whole house. It was an awful mess afterwards. My shower lever handle trim set was not set back into place and now I have a hole and the cover plate won't stay in place and they broke the tile. I had them come back out and the guy said they aren't responsible for broken tile. He adjusted the cover and filled in where they broke the tile was but it keeps sliding back over leaving a gaping hole. Where my water heater piping was replaced, the wall had piping sticking out all over. Why so much piping for a water heater?! Had them fix that and it still looks awful. Was never told that they would have to take out a big area of tile on my garden tub. When they were done they just left it open and didnt replace the tile. My turn off water valve outside has a lot of piping as well. Not sure if this is how it's done but doesn't seem correct to me. Awful/sloppy work and I won't be using them again. Yelp won't load my photos!

bait and switch. in response to a call I made Emerald quoted me $150 to come and assess a plumbing situation and provide me with the report. After the plumbers left my home I received a phone call saying that the services provided were now $450 which included the original $150. At no time during the service call did either one of the two plumbers mention that there was an additional cost that there was an estimated additional cost or tell me that there was going to be an additional cost of $300. I got that in a phone call after their departure. That's called bait and switch and lack of transparency and cost and while I was willing to split the difference because I don't like the bait and switch emerald has been unwilling to acknowledge their fault in this instance. I recommend that you use different company.

Quality service and professional went from an awful experience elsewhere to this and was happy

WARNING, stay away from doing business with this company if you expect a suitable job! We , also , had used them in the past. We will never use them again. their communication skills are very poor!! I would have liked to have posted pictures of their completed product but this website will not allow it! They were called for a leak and removed our brass spigot on exterior of the house and replaced with a plastic handle shut of valve spigot without informing us of the change! Left pipes exposed to the elements on exterior of wall instead of in wall (like originally built)! Do your self a favor and call someone else!! I have to get another plumber to correct their work!! 10/10 recommend!! We're in the process of fixing up our home to sell, so we've worked with several different contractors/companies within the past few months on various projects. Our experience with Emerald plumbing compared with the others has been night and day - the entire Emerald plumbing team was incredibly helpful & professional from the office staff to the plumbers and dry wall guys, overall we're extremely satisfied. We had a full repipe on our home - we called on a Monday and the very next day someone came out to give us a quote (which was very fair/competitive by the way), once we decided to move forward they were able to start within a few days. Even when the county inspector came by afterwards and we told him we used Emerald he said """"I don't even have to look too hard then, these guys always do a fantastic job"""". Our realtor actually suggested Emerald to us in the first place because of all the great feedback she's heard, and their reputation for great work holds true!

Paid 8000 for re-pipe of my house and the shower faucet was dripping. I called 3 times and asked for someone to come back and fix it. I was told the project manager would handle it. 8 days later no one called or cares. Their customer service stinks. I guess I need to call a plumber to get it fixed!

Warning, stay away from this firm. I had used them on several occasions in the past with decent results but the last time was disheartening. I have a rental property that I've owned for 20+ years and I'm very familiar with the plumbing, old. Over the 20 years I've repaired the tub washers and seats and when the tenant called, I knew exactly what it was. A new washer or seat was needed. Called Emerald and asked them to fix since I didn't want to deal with it. They quoted me $155 for service call and up to 1 hour of time. I said ok. Technician called me and quoted me $750 to replace the whole internal diverter and repair the tile. WTF! I questioned him and that was that! I refused and replaced the seat and washer for $14. I'm out $155 and the Tech never even shut off the water to evaluate the problem. Thank goodness I'm a bit handy or I would have been grifted out of an additional $595. It hurts paying the $155 but I learned not to trust this company.

TERRIBLE experience with the office manager of Emerald Plumbing. She was interrupting, wouldn't listen at all, didn't find out the situation of her team who had to come back to fix something on the job, talked to us in a very disrespectful tone, and blatantly blamed us. I liked the company's work until they gave us an inaccurate estimate and tried to charge us almost double the price. They don't do written estimates so you have no way to verify your quote is correct. That was the most hurtful experience I've ever had on the phone with a customer service agent. She did not seek to understand or do anything to rectify the situation. I highly discourage people from trusting this company after this experience.

First off, no one already likes calling a plumber to help with a situation. When it came to getting real support these guys were the best. They treated my problem like it was at their house and were able to get the work done fast and at a reasonable cost.
