I am VERY pleased with this company! First, I had a leaking sink and was worried that it would take forever to get someone out to fix it. But nope, they had a cancellation and showed up in 15 minutes! The serviceman (I think his name was Parker?) was very professional, wore a mask, wore booties without me having to ask, and he was able to finish the job in something like 20 minutes. It was awesome! Most importantly for ME, he wasn't creepy. This sounds random but I think a lot of women know what I mean when I say that it can be difficult to have a stranger in your home, especially if no one else is home. I have been assaulted in the past so it's extremely difficult for me, I get a lot of anxiety before a repairman shows up but Parker was so professional and friendly, I was at ease right away. I think that's important for women to know and if you're reading this, ladies, you can feel safe having Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain in your home, in my opinion.

I have mixed feelings about this review. I understand when you pay for customer service there's a higher fee that comes along with it because of overhead costs.

I was somewhat happy with the service the first time around because job got done 3/4, two toilets, shower, and leaky faucet somewhat fixed. Technician was friendly.

The leaky faucet was the only issue that wasn't completely fixed. Technician came out two times then the owner came out the last time. Still got a leaky faucet. I had a leaky faucet with only the cold water but after the ""fix"" the water was still leaking so I contacted them about it. I didn't watch them while they attempted to fix it so I don't know if they even checked the hot water side. But long story short looks like the cold side is fixed but the hot water side is now leaking. Like I mentioned before my hot water was fine before the fix.

I was tired of having to call them back for recall so I was going to just let it go and give them a better review than this current one but what made me super unhappy was their forgery of my signature and trying to get rid of me like I was the problem.

I am not happy with the outcome because they didn't have me sign anything in person or electronically but I got an email with supposedly my signatures stating that I was satisfied with the fix and they were closing out my case/service because they had been called back twice for a recall.

I felt like they shooed me out without really addressing the issue. I paid too much money for a simple fix that couldn't get fixed properly. They are definitely overpriced for not resolving all the issues and they forged my signature twice in one document.

Any professional business providing service should inspect and troubleshoot to resolve the issues in need of repair. So yeah I may have told the company the issues I observed but wouldn't it be something to consider that if the cold side was supposedly fixed to maybe check the hot side if the faucet was still leaking, process of elimination. The professionals are hired for a reason, as a customer I can only provide observation of the issues. Why didn't the company take their time to figure out what was really wrong? Basically do what you're hired to do as you specialize in that field. $350 to replace 2 washers for the 2 toilets, one shower handle and cartridge, and whatever they did to the cold side of the water faucet.

The day before Thanksgiving , waiting for company to arrive I found my kitchen floor with an inch of water. We found water leaking (at times pouring) from our dishwasher. I googled an Elk Grove Plumber and decided to call Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain. My husband was trying appliance places and no one could help us before Sat.
I spoke with a the nice woman who answered the phone and she referred me to her boss who tried to help figure out what might be wrong. She then told me she would send out a tech between 4-6. It was about 3 so I was very happy with that. He ended coming before 4!! I was so happy!!
The techs name is John Hayes. He was amazing!! He got the valve turned off but pretty quickly assessed that the problem was with the appliance so we would have to have it repaired or buy a new one. But he got all the standing water out of the dishwasher and checked all the pipes under the sink. I was so relieved even though I knew it meant hand washing the Thanksgiving dishes. Still so grateful that he got us all cleaned up!
John was so great and personable! He then told me that it was $40 just to come (which I was told on the phone) He then said it would normally be $180 for the service call (he was there for quite awhile) but that he would just charge me the $40. That was it!! I told him I felt like crying! He said Happy Thanksgiving!! I told him I couldn't believe it and he began to tell me how much he loved this company he worked for and how well the employees were treated. He said the philosophy of the owner is to serve the public and not nickel and dime people.
I have found a plumber I will stick with and will recommend to everyone!!' Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain is the best!!!

I highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing. I was experiencing a sewage back up. Laird showed up during the scheduled time and went above and beyond to try and get my facilities working. When he couldn't find the clean out (it was buried under a planter bed in the front yard, required hours of digging to find it) he still did everything in his power to unclog the toilets, drains, etc. Laird made me feel heard and I could tell he truly cared about the issue going on. If I ever need plumbing again this is the only company I want to help me.

Laird has cleared a sewage clog and changed my sink fixture. Professional, honest, quick, and reasonably priced. Rotor rooters quoted me 4 times the rate of EGPD. I Will use EGPD again, and recommend them to anyone looking for service.
