EG Plumbing came out today to install a new water heater in our garage. We called first thing in the morning and received a reasonable quote over the phone. We were told a technician could be at our property shortly. This was a huge time savings for us. Fernando arrived as expected and was polite and professional. He installed a new 40 gallon water heater in about three hours. He was careful to leave our property clean. He explained various properties of the new heater and told us that if other questions arose, he'd be happy to make a return visit. We appreciate the professionalism of this local company. They valued our time and budget. Five stars all the way for Elk Grove Plumbing!

After being jerked around by Bell Brothers horrendous scheduling, a friend recommended Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain. What a great experience, night and day. The intake/scheduling person was professional and courteous. My awesome plumber was Laird , who was professional, friendly, and efficient! Price was reasonable, and nothing extra for Sunday. Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain are my new go to plumbers!

NO, will never recommend this company. The plumber cut and replaced cast iron drain pipe. He left it at a higher elevation than it was originally. So my UNION carpenter had to fix it, so the shower floor elevation would be the same, not higher. ( otherwise I would have to step up into my shower).
I should have requested WRITTEN estimates!! The plumber showed up after noon. He was scheduled to show between 10 and 12. He called and says he gave the slot to someone else, but that he will still show up.

I had a water heater that hadn't been taken care of or replaced in 27 years. Along with that, there was an active leak that caused mold in it's surrounding areas - including the drywall. The guys were very diligent in removing the water heater and replacing it with a brand new one. In addition, they have a mold remediation and drywall guy that did AWESOME work. Shout out to RODGER for going above and beyond and doing beautiful work! This team is communicative and they even worked with me on pricing. I can't say enough great things about Elk Grove plumbing. I will be recommending them for all plumbing needs to anyone who needs work!

Our Kitchen sink was clogged, we called around to find someone who would be able to come the same day or as soon as possible. We found Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain and they sent someone out the next day on a Sunday. Despite them being fully booked, they made the time to fit us in. Laird was amazing, he arrived right on time. He is very knowledgeable and immediately was able to identify the problem. Not only was he able to fix it quickly but he also gave us tips on how to prevent the issue in the future. We would highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain, especially Laird he is very professional and will get the job done.

I've had them do 3 different jobs for my dad's house and my own house. Each time I got multiple quotes from a minimum 4 other services and each time Elk Grove P&D gave me the best quote for the most comprehensive work. Everything they've worked on has come out perfectly and continues to function without any issue. Moving forward I'm going to save myself time scheduling quotes and stick with them for any plumbing work I need.

Other great factors -
If you are doing the SMUD rebate for the heat pump conversion, they factor that into your cost and save you the hassle of waiting for the SMUD check. Instead they incur the cost. With other home upgrades, like an HVAC system, I have had to pay full price up front and then wait quite a bit for the SMUD check.

Their staff is very friendly and were nice enough to give me rough quotes on some future projects I was hoping to get done on the house.

Lupe came to service our overflowing kitchen sink which resulted in our kitchen and living room to be flooded. He came in with a great, sympathetic and friendly attitude and removed the water and cleared the clog. We had several questions and he answered them with knowledge and confidence! That man deserves a raise!

Our toilet kept backing up. We tried to fix it several times in several different ways. Man... thanks to Parker for coming out and finding that we had a tree root causing the blockage. He removed our toilet, took care of the root and put the bathroom back together. He was clean and professional and humorous at our situation. Which I appreciated!
