I would like to revise my one star review from last week (10/19/20) with Elk Grove Plumbing and upgrade to a 5 star. This is due to the great customer service I received after the owners Mark and Joe read my initial review and took the time to call me and have a conversation about my complaint. That showed me they read the reviews and care about their customers. They offered to make it right if I used them again and I feel everyone deserves a second chance so I definitely will use them again.
In fact, I just used them again yesterday to repair one of my leaking toilets.

Full 5-stars for Elk Grove Plumbing! I contacted them on Yelp last week and they promptly sent a tech within a few days for my non-urgent shower issue in Sacramento 95826. My shower had a broken cartridge and won't turn on. Their tech was super polite and fixed the issue within about 45 minutes. He had all the special parts on his truck and didn't need to leave and come back like i've had with other plumbers. They are not hourly rated and I paid for the whole job, not the time spent. Their cost to repair was about $100 LESS than another company that charged by the hour. It's not often that I need plumbing help, but I will be calling them in the future for any problems! I would refer them 10/10 to any of my real estate clients as well. Thank you for making it easy!

John and Joe saved the day.
Woke up to a cold shower and found our water heater leaking and the pilot light was out. We called EG plumbing and John came out same day to see what was going on. After explaining that the contractor who installed our last water heater ( only 3 years ago ) basically used a mixture of old parts and a cheap water heater from Home Depot we set up a fan to see if we could dry out the insulation and turn on the pilot light. Next morning, with no luck, we called EG Plumbing again. Asked John to replace the whole unit, John was not able to do the job that day but called Joe ( the owner of the company). Joe came out installed a beautiful new water heater even took a look a our kitchen sink that was loose. Thank you Elk Grove Plumbing

Loved that the response time was so quick. There were roots growing into the pipe in front of the house of my rental property so they had to dig about 3 ft down and replaced the part so it won't happen again in the future. Any time a tenant needed to do dishes, use the bathroom, take a shower, sewer water would come out the front of the house-causing a horrendous smell. They came out within a day or two and used high tech cameras to properly identify the problem and an 100 ft snake. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and helpful. The job itself was great quality and efficient. They had great discounts as well. The prices I thought were very fair. I would definitely go back to Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain for future plumbing needs.

I strongly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain. John came to my house and was very pleasant and helped me finish connecting my water softener. He later came back to address a water pressure issue and made a recommendation that resolved the issue at no charge. I highly recommend this company and John to do any of your plumbing needs.
