Last night we heard a huge ""BOOM"" on the side of the house. Thinking it was our neighbor carrying something up the stairs, we let it go.

Then this morning, while washing up, I found I had only warm-ish water coming out of the faucet. No one else in the house thought anything of it, until I noticed that the water never seemed to heat up to hot status after letting it run a little longer.

After some investigation, I decided to call my go-to guys at EJ Plumbing, as I suspected some sort of thermo-stat-ish issue. I also saw a small pool of water underneath the water heater.

The phone picked up after 1 to 2 rings (yes!) with a friendly salutation (thank you!) and a ""we'll send someone right out within the next hour or two.

The text on my phone showed me who was coming: Samuel, who likes reading and playing sports.

At 10am Samuel arrived with a HUGE EJ Plumbing truck, with Marcos.

Assessment: Samuel said that water heaters have a 10yr warranty. I could call the MFR and see if I could get this WH replaced. The existing WH was old and obsolete, but I really appreciated that Samuel brought that up instead of doing any hard-sell. Samuel said the ""something"" cracked. The pilot light was off. when he re-lit the pilot light, we got the big BOOM again. Very small freak out on my end...

From the get-go I wanted a new WH, it was already almost 10yrs old. It was time. We have earthquakes on the way...

The Big Marcos-laden truck had the WH I needed, and the tools and Staff Samuel needed to install. I also wanted to give my business to these guys moving forward.

From start to finish I think the whole process was about an hour and a half.

New WH: Fast. Water back to normal: cold: immediate: Hot: in about an hour from installation (remember to flush that water out at all heated taps, there's gunk there, no matter what)

Payment: Doable.

Customer Service and labor: OUTSTANDING
Samuel was congenial and engaging. I love that he was blasting Whitney Houston and Celine Dion while working. Marcos was very polite and was a hard worker.
Note: I needed a plumber to help install a Hot Water spout in the kitchen during the deep lock down of the Pandemic, they came over within a half an hour (it was more like 20 minutes). No price gouging, no attitude, We got honest and pleasant (and jokes)

USE THES GUYS. LOCAL BUSINESS. They are part of our community. They take pride in their work.

If there were more stars to give them I would give them all to these guys.

2013 Dec, EJ Plumbing installed a brand new Rheem 75 gallon gas water heater for me. Yesterday, the same water heater is acting up... so I called EJ Plumbing to get me the 1st available appt.
Sam showed up promptly and checked out my water heater. I showed him my paper work from EJ, to my SURPRISE, it is still under warranty.

Just the ignition assembly pilot part needs to be changed out

Their delivery team showed up 20 mins later with the part, put it in and that's it. Thanks Sam and EJ Plumbing.

After dealing with a hassle with another plumber, Called EJ Pluming and they came out the same day within 2 hours. Had the parts available, quick, easy and friendly. Would recommend and do business again.

EJ Pluming to the rescue (again)! Earlier this year we had to get a new water heater and they were able to take care of us. And just a couple days ago, water started backing up from the kitchen sink and washing machine. Eddy came out the following afternoon to assess the problem and provide options. It was clear snaking the line wouldn't do the job due to old pipes and an inaccessible clean out drain. He patiently walked me through the pros and cons for a couple options - scope of fix, time to repair and cost.

The following day Eddy and Nelson came back to address the problem by updating old cast iron pipes to PVC and installing a clean out drain. They were diligent and professional the whole way.

There's no doubt they will be the first I call when another plumbing problem arises. I just don't want to see that 'too' soon.

Great service! We had a leaky hot water shutoff under our kitchen sink. They scheduled the repair for the next day, and Jairo was great. He was professional, friendly, and took all appropriate COVID precautions. He did excellent work and the price was fair. He recommended--without being at all pushy--that our cold water shutoff would start leaking at some point and it was up to us if we wanted to fix it that day or wait. (We decided to go ahead and get it done then.) He also helped with a nagging issue we had with our dishwasher vent which I hadn't called about but was very happy to finally have fixed. We were very happy and will definitely call EJ again. Many thanks to Jairo for his great service!

EJ plumbing showed up on time and did a good job.
Replaced all sewer line under the house, trenchless replacement of the main sewer line out to the street, and replaced the main water pipe from the meter to the house.

Responsive, high quality work at a very fair price - we are super impressed! When your main water line has to be replaced and you see your yard trenched knee deep, your rose bush removed, etc, you just cringe... BUT wow when they were done, minimally noticed. They put back all the dirt, replanted the rose bush and put the sod back.. you can barely tell what it looked like just a few hours earlier. Can't thank the team lead by Ben enough for the wonderful job! BONUS is the 10 year warranty, what's not to be thrilled about ? I'll definitely call them for my next job!

Looking for quotes on a lateral replacement and called EJ plumbing for an estimate. Daniel Jimenez came by, took a look, and was the only person who said that it's not 100% necessary. I really appreciate the honesty and transparency as other plumbing companies have come by and not mentioned anything about NOT doing work. EJ plumbing will definitely be my go to plumbers from now on.

I have used them countless times. They are really expensive compared to regular plumbers. But if you plan to do a major change, it is better to go with them. I got a problem with my plumbing 6 months after I had gotten some work done with EJ Plumbing. They came in and spent a lot of time troubleshooting, and finally fixed up the issue at no cost to me.
