Beware of this company. They are greedy and take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Never would I use them again nor recommend them to anyone. My drain backed up and the manager said that he needs to install a clean out. However, I informed him that my neighbors have clean outs so I may have it too. He said that some houses just don't have it.

The initial estimate proposed to dig a 4'X4' X4' deep and install a clean-out. After digging a foot deep, it was discovered that there was an existing clean-out which was in excellent condition. The real problem was a root penetrated my sewer line. They got it cleared in no time and job done much sooner than expected. They still charged me $5000 for it which I paid. I then emailed them asking for price adjustment since the manager made a mistake in his diagnostic. And I was thinking that this is about $2K job, $3K the most. I emailed them and Front desk said to wait and management is looking into it. Two months after, no answer. On top of that, they left the water running after cleaning their tools.

I had an absolutely STELLAR experience with E& J Plumbing. I can't say enough good things about the team -- they just did a huge job for me, and everything was perfect from start to finish. I wish I could give them 100 stars!

I initially called E&J to diagnose a mystery leak in my basement. Ryan, one of the supervisors, came to assess the problem. He was absolutely awesome -- like a Dr. House of plumbing. He immediately diagnosed a sewer leak behind the walls, in addition to some badly corroded copper pipes. He was so knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and also really kind & sympathetic -- I had full confidence in him from the moment he walked in the front door. He immediately sprang into action -- called in a great restoration company to come urgently assess the situation because I needed new sewer lines and repiping, and that plumbing work couldn't get started until the restoration company did a clean-up. He also called in several more EJ team members to come out immediately to further assess the job so he could figure out a work plan and an estimate. Within a couple hours we had full assessment and a work plan -- Ryan explained all the options really well, and I gave them the green light. (They also had a financing option which is one of the benefits of going with such a big, well-established company.) After all the restoration work was done, the EJ team arrived to do the new sewer line and repipe -- right on schedule, with at least 8 trucks and an army of fantastic plumbers!

Xavier and Juan provided excellent team leadership throughout the two full days of the project -- they were both really knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and good-humored. I was also impressed with the entire crew of plumbers working the job -- everyone was really hard-working, highly skilled, courteous, and just plain nice guys. It was all so well-choreographed and efficient. By the end of the second full day, I had a new sewer line, new copper pipes, hot water again -- and they had gone above & beyond and fixed some pesky little problems as well.

I HIGHLY recommend EJ Plumbing -- truly exceptional company!!!

Prompt. Thorough. Great communication throughout. It's tough to comment on pricing since one rarely uses these types of services (hopefully,) but I'd call EJ Home Services the next time, for sure.

On Tuesday January 7, Bryan Arroyo from EJ Home Services came to my home to inspect a water leak in my kitchen. To determine the cause of the leak he cut two openings in the kitchen ceiling at a cost of $325. He determined it was due to a pipe from the upstairs sink. He gave me a written proposal stating that they would need to cut open the exterior wall to access and repair the pipe. To my shock and horror, the quote for entire job would cost $4782! I told him I needed to get a second quote on this.
The next day another plumber came in and went under the upstairs sink and said he could easily access the pipe and completed the repairs for $450. On the same day, I called EJ Plumbing and told them I would not be hiring them to finish the project because I found someone that could do the job for over $4,000 cheaper. I was disappointed that they did not express any concern that their technician was not astute enough to look under the sink to access the pipe.
EJ Plumbing essentially cost me $760 of unnecessary work. $325 to open the holes in the kitchen ceiling and $435 to close them. Neither would have been done if I had hired the second plumber at the beginning.

EJ Plumbing is great! Easy to book a service, and I've used them many times. Sam came out yesterday to diagnose a water heater issue and he advised replacement, which he then replaced quickly today. I would highly recommend EJ Plumbing!
