★★☆☆☆

The technicians are nice and did the job well, but I cannot recommend this company. They are not transparent (and even, to an extent, deceptive) about cost and made promises which didn't end up being kept, so as a result when all was done I felt ripped off. They are also not easy to reach and I spent too much time repeatedly calling/emailing them to receive estimates and to find out when they were planning to come to my house. I finally got a very short notice response about when they were planning to come (3-5pm), and since it seemed like it would be extremely difficult to reschedule I ended up canceling relatively important meetings in order to be at home during that window. However, then they didn't show up until after 5pm. It is unfortunate that otherwise good work gets overshadowed by very poor organization and communication.

Well, I guess I need to clarify then. Here is a longer version:
This company was recommended to us by a friend when we wanted to replace our old combined wall oven+microwave using a new design. We called the company and made the first measurement appointment. They told us on the phone that this fee would go towards the installation and final price if the total amount exceeds $350.00. They also told us that one day prior to the appointment we would receive a text message which would specify the time window.
There was no text message. So I started calling their number (949) 200-0579 which would let me leave a voice mail (with a promise to call back). I left several voice mails and ended up waiting for the guy to call me only afternoon to tell me that he was on his way to our house. He was nice and friendly. He made measurements. We discussed the options. He spent about 20 minutes in the house. I paid him $125. He confirmed that this fee would go toward the installation and final price if the total amount exceeds $350.00, but according to his estimates he assured me that the total would *definitely* be higher, so we didn't have to worry about this nuance.

When the new oven was ordered I started calling (949) 200-0579 and leaving messages, one after the other. Eventually, I got someone on the phone, I gave them my email. She promised to email me an estimate in an hour or so. There was no email. I started calling *the* next day leaving messages asking to make an appointment and email me the estimate. It took them about a week to eventually send me an email with a not-very-clear estimate and a suggested date for the appointment. So, finally, I had their email. I emailed back that to confirm the appointment date. Again, they assured me that one day prior to the appointment we would receive a text message specifying the two-hour time window.

As before, there was no text message one day prior to the appointment. Because I also have a job, I could not stay all day in the house. I started calling (949) 200-0579 and sending emails asking for the time window. I eventually got an email from them around 11:30 am telling me that they forgot to put me on the schedule but they could still come between 3pm and 5pm. Even though I asked, they could not be more specific about the arrival time. I had to cancel some relatively important meeting at work to be home by 3pm. My wife also came. Around 4pm they called and told me that they were on the way to our house and would be there within 30 minutes. In 30 minutes they called again and said that they had to stop at Home Depot to buy some wood because, apparently, the job required using wood. The two guys (different from the original guy who did the measurements) eventually came after 5pm. Interestingly, the prior measurements were incorrect and useless and a completely different decision with a simpler design was made by these two guys. They were nice and they did a good job. The final price they gave us was $280. When we mentioned the measurement fee of $125 that was supposed to be deducted from the final price, they were surprised. They called the office where they were told that because 280 is less than 350 we are not getting any discount. That is, we paid 280+125=$405! If the installation work cost $350 instead of $280, we would pay just $350. If we asked them to do more work (which we could *have done* if we knew the deal) we would pay less but we did not ask for more work because it was already too late and they wanted to go home. The simple argument that I was trying to make to the person in the office that the final price in our case should not go over $350 did not work. They simply ignored my emails.

I purchased a microwave from Lowe's on Nov. 30th. We also purchased the installation, although Lowe's told us they were about 3 weeks delayed. Imagine my surprise when I received a call on Dec. 9th to schedule the installation, and it could be done today, Dec. 13th! Initially they gave me an 8 hour window but told me that the day before installation they would text me with a 2-hour window, which they did. The technician called me right around the beginning of the 2-hour window, when he was about 10 minutes from my house. He arrived and immediately got to work, telling me that the old microwave had not really been installed correctly. He was quick, efficient, and clean. My microwave looks great and works well. Thank you, Eclipse Appliance Installation!

Really great job. They are on time, accountable, respectful to customers and you can depend on their service.

This is the 3rd time I am asking for their service (installed built-in fridge, double oven, and cooktop). Clean job with a reasonable price.

Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about this business and the team. I originally worked with them through Home Depot when I ordered a measurement service. I was so impressed with the courteous and professional service that I ordered the installation service as well. One of my appliances required ""custom fitting"" and another one needed cabinetry work. The team delivered the work within budget and in the same customer-centric approach that I first experienced through the measurement work. I highly recommend this business for all the services it provides.

Recently had a dishwasher installed by Ray at Eclipse Appliance. It was a smooth transaction and Ray was both personable and very professional. He installed the dishwasher and noticed a leaking valve which he was able to replace for a nominal extra fee. He left the job super clean and everything working as it should be. I would definitely recommend Eclipse for your next install and I can see why Lowe's trusts them to do installs throughout Orange and LA County.

Had a dishwasher installed and old one removed. They showed up twenty minutes into the two hour installation window after a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. The installers were professional and personable and went right to work. They removed the old dishwasher and took it away. They also took the packaging from the new one, which was a pleasant surprise. They did a great job and made sure to check that everything was functional before leaving. I live in an older home and have had several appliance installations in the last couple of years and this was one of the best experiences. The price was also reasonable and competitive. Would totally recommend this service. Very satisfied customer.

Eclipse was contracted by our home warranty company to replace our faulty dishwasher. They had great communication throughout the process and the install serviceman was awesome. Would be happy to use them outside of warranty work if ever needed.
