Water Heater failed early on a Friday here in Fernley. I have a relatively new unit (4 yrs old). Researched plumbing services and was promptly replied to on Yelp by Easy Rooter. They indicated that they were booked that day but could respond Saturday or Sunday but related the service would incur an overtime rate. I chose to wait till he following Monday and made an appointment for 9am to 10am. (Just had to endure cold showers for the weekend)

Service Call- James with Easy Rooter arrived promptly at 9am. Found him approachable and pleasant. His initial assessment indicated a faulty pilot assemble. He drove back to sparks for the parts and returned. After completing the repair, the water heater still failed to ignite. Secondary assessment indicated a remove and replace of the gas supply valve. Again, James had to drive back to sparks for the part. Upon return, James completed the job and poof, water heater up and running. Wife is happy to take a hot shower.

I paid $700 for the job. It appears excessive but I was happy to pay it for the service that was provided. James was informative and allowed me to watch the whole process. I've never worked with gas before but feel that if the problem (common issue) arises again, I could do it myself.

I recently purchased a home in Fernley that needed plumbing repairs the seller agreed to pay for. Before moving in I was cleaning the house and discovered the sink was leaking and notified Easy Rooter to see about their warranty. Was told the technician would have to come out to see if it was something he repaired, but wouldn't be until the next time he came to Fernley. Even though the invoice indicated the work he did, he would still have to come look at it. If it wasn't something he repaired I would have to pay. I would never refer this Plumbing company to anyone. They are severely over priced and do less then acceptable work.

SCAM NEVER CALL Used them in the past and no problem, but now never. They advertise they are located in Fernley. False advertising they are not in Hometown Auto Building as they advertise. Just to let you know the place is a scam.. Tech was very, nice and the poor guy really doesn't deserve to have to work for this place. $240 show up fee (seriously that the office doesn't bother to mention any show up fee) Was going to get charged $420 for a simple shower valve replacement. $240 show up plus $120 part and $80 labor. $240 I said for 5 minute drive, but no they just advertise falsely now that they are in Fernley. We didn't pay it, nor had them do the work because it is a SCAM

I had called for a quote for water heater replacement based on some other quotes we had done. They are a Reno area business and would charge to come out to Fernley unless they were already on a call out here. I elected to have them call me just in case. On Monday we got a call from Chris (?) to give a free estimate of a few options. He stopped by and went above and beyond. Chris left a positive impact on us compared to the other companies. The professionalism, knowledge, and reliability Chris offered was very rare in my experience. He wasn't our first quote so I say with confidence that if he is representative of how the company works, 5 stars. As well, they were second lowest quote of 5 companies. If you're in Reno, it's a no brainer for water heater work. I did the comparisons for you.

A huge chunk of the filter media broke loose and clogged pipes, preventing several outdoor spigots and our washing machine from getting any water. Chuck, our technician, was dispatched to our home, isolated the problem area and had it repaired within only a couple of hours (not including his trip to the plumbing supply store for the right parts to fix it). Chuck was courteous, extremely personable, respectful to my wife's wishes about wearing shoe covers in the house, and our dogs wanted to go home with him (for them, this is high praise!). After all was said and done, the price was far less than I expected. This is not the first time we have had Easy Rooter come out to our home to fix an issue and it will not be the last. They show up and get the job done.

Take him out quickly on an emergency call. Of course you pay extra for that and I didn't realize you don't with Roto-Rooter but I was desperate. They were nice and everything in sight end up they lied to me about times that they came out which made my warranty company not reimburse me. They basically got me into a fight with the city swearing that it was the city but it wasn't. Anyhow it's whatever not thrilled but just dropping some info here

Found out there was a leak behind the wall underneath the kitchen sink. Called Easy Rooter plumbing and they respond pretty quick. Within an hour or so they were able to send someone to the house. Sam was very professional and very friendly. Showed him the problem and did a great job. Very satisfied. Thank you Sam and Easy Rooter plumbing.

Not the company to call if you're having septic tank problems. Charged us $500. to diagnose that the septic tank was overflowing; hand-dug two 3' holes in the general direction of the tank and then left. Repeated calls to the company produced nothing. They just were not going to come back and finish the job.

Called a smaller company. They responded first thing the next morning, identified to problem, dug down to the tank with a small excavator, emptied and cleaned the tank, repaired the broken line, put stackers on the tank to make it easier to reach next time and cleaned the whole area.

Easy Rooter was our go-to company for years, but bigger is not better.

Had an appointment today between 8-12, finally called them at 2:30 and they said they were ""running late"" and they could come later today (Friday) or schedule it for Monday.... I told her I needed it done today, and she said they would be here no later than 6 PM. Well it's 9:30 PM now and no call and no show from these unprofessional clowns. I guess if you spend too much time around feces, your company will eventually become it. Two disabled people will now be without a working toilet until I can find a company that wants my business and is professional. 0/10
