Eagle Plumbing seriously endangered my family's life through deep incompetence. And they were very rude about it to boot!

Our hot water heater went out and we needed a new one. Eagle came and installed one. It had chronic problems after installation. The pilot light would go out mysteriously when this never happened with the old unit. At least 3 service calls were made in vain prior to the day when the Co2 alarm started blaring in the bedroom where the water heater is located and a strange smell filled the room.

Eagle guy came out, told me I was either lying about there being a problem or the co2 alarm gave a false positive & told us to call the gas company, which we did. Propane guy comes and says there's a carbon leak. Eagle comes back and finds the stack from the water heater was not connected to the stack going out from the attic and he connects and we think, great, problem solved. But no.

I go to take a shower the next day and no hot water. No attempts to light the pilot worked. Yet another weekend without hot water.

This week another plumbing co came to inspect the situation. They quickly discovered that Eagle installed a NATURAL GAS water heater when we have PROPANE which burn at different temperatures. This put me and my family in grave danger and inconvenienced me greatly. And they were always extremely rude and degrading.

AGAIN, if you value you life and your money, you will want to call another plumbing company no matter how much longer you may have to wait.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING COMPANY. Seriously...your life could be put in danger by using this company. My family's life was seriously endangered by this company. They installed a NATURAL GAS water heater in my home when we have PROPANE GAS and they were informed of this prior to the installation.

They'd been called three times because the pilot light would stay lit, leaving us without hot water for at least 3 weekends (they don't work on weekends). Then, after my CO2 alarm started going off and an awful smell filled the bedroom where the water heater is, the technician came out and informed me that there's nothing wrong with this unit or its installation, that my CO2 alarm must have given a false positive, and that I was just imagining the lingering gas smell in the room. I was told that if I was that worried about it I should call the gas company. So I did. The guy with the propane company said that it was carbon that smelled.

So an Eagle guy came back to the house. They discovered the stack they installed was loose in the roof, leaking carbon. He reattached it and we thought the problem was solved. Then the pilot light went out again and another weekend without hot water. The lady that answers the phone said the guy would be there at 4:30 on a Friday according to his gps. I had dinner plans and had to leave by 5:10 and he still wasn't there. Turns out it's a good thing I didn't wait as I would've wasted my time.

I had another plumbing company come the following Monday and within minutes that Plumber (Stuart Services - recommend) realized that it was a NATURAL GAS water heater when we have PROPANE GAS. They burn at different temperatures. The entire unit had to be replaced and it was a brand new water heater. So wasteful.

This created an extremely hazardous condition and I'm surprised no one died. My pets were alone in the house for 4 days with only a pet sitter visiting two weeks before the problem was discovered.

And they do not offer a warranty with their work despite promises of providing one. They are a clear danger to the public. Again, you use this company and you're risking your life and your money. Find another plumber.

If you want someone to completely misdiagnose a simple problem, try to rip up your lawns and charge you $4000 to fix the wrong thing, then charge you $700 to dig a tiny hole in some sand, abandon the job in the middle of it and then be assholes to you for complaining about it, then by all means call these folks.

I had a washer dry that needed to have one hose disconnected and then connected. I was charged 107.00 service fee which i understand but another
$243.00 to swap out one hose. Very excessive. Please dont use them they
are very very high, and when i called the office, they said that the technician did things that he never did.
In my opinion that is fraud.

Made an appointment with this company and paid $500 for someone to work for me. No one called or showed up! I called the company and no one even returned my phone call. I highly discourage anyone from using Eagle Plumbing. The girl who answered the phone when I called the first time gave me the most insincere ""I am sorry about that"". Not sure how they are still in business.

I feel I was taken advantage of in an emergency situation. The price quoted on the phone was $65 for service call and when plumber arrived he said there was an additional $165 diagnostic fee, which the $65 applied towards. I agreed and plumber found issue with missing insulation around pipe under house, which he said he could fix but needed materials, which would cost me another $65, plus cost and ""my percentage,"" if he went to buy it. When I came up with what he needed, a can of ""Great Stuff,"" which costs about $4, he said he could make the repair but there were additional charges for going back under the house. In total, he offered to fix my issue for $425. I asked why so much and he said because he had to crawl back under the house. I refused and gave him my check for $165 and called the office. The owner called me back and we had a lengthy conversation going over the fees and I said I felt I was being taken advantage of and that you must think I'm stupid. He continued to justify the costs because the plumber had to crawl under the house ""when it's 30 degrees outside."" This was an emergency repair and yes, it was cold, not 30 degrees, and I said ""crawling under the house is part of the job - he's a plumber!"" He said there might be a discount but I had already handed over $165 and sent the plumber away. He did not offer to refund any of the cost when I said I wanted my money back. I said I was going to share my experience and give him bad reviews. The owner said ""go right ahead,"" that he was recording my conversation and would give it to his attorney. Not sure what that will accomplish as everything I said is the truth. How's that for customer service = record your unhappy customers and hand the recordings over to an attorney. I am following through with sharing my experience and letting readers know how I was put in a difficult, unfair situation by these plumbers. And I still have the issue of water getting in under my sink. I really feel like they may do this all the time and buyers should be cautious. I will say I used them once before and was pleased with the work - the job was done right and for a fair price, on a Sunday, no less. This time, I feel completely disrespected and angry. If there was an even more negative rating for this company I would give it.

This place is a disaster. They inflate their charges. Do not fix the shoddy work they do. They even told my tenants one price and when they found out I was the owner and out of town, they asked for a much higher price. Stay away if you can. They took me for $520 to repair a water heater. It did not work. They told me to get a new one for $2000. No credit for the $520. Got two other bids, one from Lowes, at around $1300. Outrageous.

horrible company to do business with they are not reasonable priced and very unprofessional and office staff is rude and nobody knows anything. Can get better plumbing service at any other place but Eagle and the owner Charles is the worst. this company will stab you in the back and if you do not pay they will send a collection agency after you. I highly do not reccommend Eagle Plumbing to anybody and they should be out of business. Very very unprofessional.

This company sent a technician named Chris out who seemed to only want to make my hot water heater issue into a major project. He initially suggested that I had a water slab leak. Then he suggested we had a bad heating element. But instead of replacing the heating element with a new element he installed a used element that was the wrong size - it wasn't until I had another plumbing company come out that this was revealed. I would not recommend this company.

Charged me $550 to run a camera after sending two other repairmen out at incorrect times (after not calling ahead of time as stated); marked the problem as being where it turns out no pipe even existed. Never got an estimate for repair, either. Called 3 times to rectify the issue and was never contacted back. (Manager said they tried to call us back. They did not.) Will not issue a refund.
