First impressions are everything. Requested a quote and got an automated reply with a link to their website to a page that ""no longer exists"".
This is so basic. A lack of care that seems to run through the company reading other reviews. I pointed out the mistake and haven't heard back.
I'll give this company a miss.

This morning, Jonathan Mitchelson, a Goettl technician, arrived, on time, for a complimentary check-up on our A/C (we are enrolled in their family service plan which includes 2 check-ups/year). He spent considerable time, taking the system apart, analyzing the system and putting things back together, after cleaning and taking 25 pictures of everything. He explained everything in a very knowledgeable manner, and made his recommendations without pressure, but in a very understandable manner. He put me in touch with his supervisors, Don and Mark, who gave me options and prices. Everything was handled very professionally, but without undue pressure. I was very happy with the maintenance service today.

Our Ac went out we called Goettl to set up and appointment Jonathan came and took care of it. He was very nice and professional my mom was satisfied with the service he took the time to explain the issues and even had a gift for her. Jonathan had the ac working in 30 mins. We recommend!!
Goettl hard to say but we keep it cool!

Beware of this company! Our 11 year old condensing unit stopped working properly and after a lot of time with technician on phone to office, they presented greatly inflated repair cost and advisability and pushed for whole system replacement at outrageous prices which, of course, they could start same day. When pushed for price on condensing unit only their quote was also outrageously high. Thankfully we contacted another company who added Freon and leak fix for 1/4 of what the upsellers quoted to repair and said we had at least 10 to 11 more years. We are seniors (very) so I guess Goettl doesn't mind trying to take advantage of old people.

Bad install turned good! Persistence pays off!
On Thursday, we had a brand new unit installed.
On Friday, it failed less than 24 hours after install.
On Saturday morning, a tech came and confirmed that the failure was something an installer had the fix. To complicate things, my family and I were leaving town with a house-sitter watching our dogs. So, we needed to have working A/C immediately, not to mention a brand-new system should just work!
After many conversations that left me feeling quite frustrated, I was able to escalate our issue directly to Dan, and as soon as he got involved everything changed. He took charge, mobilized his team, and I'm now happily sitting in a cool house feeling confident about my upcoming trip and our house-sitter's comfortability.
Dan and the installers who arrived today exemplify Goettl's mantra of ""We do things the right way, not the easy way.""

Said I should sign up for Annual Checkup for $200 per year. Opened heater door of the mobile home did not bother to clean it up and said I do not have filters in stock and left. Leaving housing filthy with no filter. They haven't returned for 2nd 6 month inspection. What did I pay $200 for???

We were offered a free inspection as existing Dutton customers, so happily accepted. The service and professionalism of Goettl was horrible. They conducted their tests - the unit working perfectly fine in the moment, informed us of some issues they advised we address including a full system replacement, and provided us with an astronomical quote. When we told them we weren't able to sign on the dotted line right then and there, the sales rep was quite obviously annoyed and the visit ended immediately. 2 weeks later, I go to use our system for the first time and it wouldn't even turn on. Would not recommend this company whatsoever. Their demeanor made us feel bullied and like we inconvenienced them by not being able to swipe a card on the spot. For hoping to bring in happy clients from a newly acquired company - they've now lost them on both fronts, and any future recommendations we would have given.

My first experience with Goettl was very positive. They took apart my air conditioning unit and were incredibly thorough in going through it and taking pictures and diagnosing the issue. They accomplished what three other AC companies could not accomplish. and their technicians are very skilled and courteous. So why only one star?
I have referred them to a number of friends who have had very professional experiences with them but their costs came in 300% over competitive costs. But what annoyed me most was that my thermostats stopped working so I had them come out to diagnose what the issue was. It took the technician a few hours and he replaced a few parts, not cheap, and that still did not solve the problem, so he was going to have to come back another day to make sure it wasn't a bigger and more expensive issue. Meanwhile, I call my electrician for a second opinion, and within one hour he fixed the original problem which was a wire that was not connected properly which then raise the question where the other expenses they charge me even necessary at all? So I lost trust in them. There's also a heavy focus on sales, they are always trying to up charge you on something, so dealing with them feels like you're haggling constantly at a used car lot. If they did not have prices that were all over the place and were honest about what actually needs to be done, I would give them 10 stars, but unfortunately that is not the case and I will no longer use them.

Last year I used this company for a problem I had with my heating, after coming back twice to fix the same problem and expensive repair, they sold me the idea of getting their membership. They called a few months ago saying; it's time for your furnace tune up, you already paid for it, and with some hesitation from my part had them over, wasn't really ""free"" bc as you can imagine, they ""found"" a problem saying a had a gas leak, next day, we are taking a shower and who will imagine, water was super cold, they never taught this ""brilliant"" technician needed to turn on the pilot of the water heater.....
Doesn't end there, I gave them a last chance to schedule the A/C tune up last May 5th at 9am. They didn't show up, finally get a call at 4p saying: We are running a LITTLE late...
When I replied to the dispatcher: A Little???? It's 4pm when you were supposed to be here 7hrs ago, I guess she didn't like it and Hung up!!!
Great job Goettl, 3 times, 3 different problems, but not again....

Horrible absolutely horrible. 2 weekends in a row they made me stay home half a day waiting for a technician to show up and they totally stood me up. No curtesy phone call. Manager refused to call me back.
Why bother having a business if you can properly run it.
