Paul came to check out where the leak was and said it would be $350 for the diagnostic which I agreed to. He gave me a quote of $3,700 - $4,200 to fix the leak....he showed pictures of our pipes with corrosion and oxidation. He said we needed a whole repipe which he quoted $12,000 for the PEX and $17,200 for the copper. After negotiating for about 2 hrs, back and forth with the manager, etc., nothing was agreed upon and I was glad they did not continue with it.
I called another company and they came within and hour and a half and quickly pointed out the same thing only fixed the leak and capped the line which led to our outside faucet for less than $400. They were in and out in 1 hour.
Beware of dealing with this company....they are taking advantage of your situation and got you when you need them....I will not use them and make sure you get some other quotes before agreeing to use them.

I had a clog in the master bathroom with a smell. I called Goettl and they came the next day. They sent Victor who resolved the problem immediately. He also provided an excellent treatment plan to put a plug in the drain and use vinegar every 3 months to clean the top of the drain. Great job Victor.

Due to the unprofessional & unethical recent service call I will no longer be doing business with this company!

Would give 0 STARS if I could! What a sham of a company. This is what I'm left with (please see the picture attached) thanks to their incompetence, and they're refusing to take responsibility for something that's CLEARLY their fault. They missed multiple appointments, even though they promised that someone will be on a way. Which resulted in water damage. We ended up hiring a different company to fix the problem since their technicians were no show. There is much more to this story, which I won't go into details. If you like giving your hard earned $$ to the companies that don't show up, don't stand by their promises, avoid your phone calls, then by all means go with Goettl. Otherwise, avoid them at any cost. There are much better companies out there that stand by their promises and put customers first.

I have been having issues with my kitchen sink. I have snaked it a few times but for whatever reason the clog keeps coming back. So I decided to call and have a professional look at it. I made the appointment with Goettl, confirmed it and rearranged my day to be home between 9-1. They even called again this morning to confirm and let me know they would call when they were on their way. Now, half hour after one, they call and try to come between 3-5. Now that my day was wasted and I still have a clogged sink, I will try a different company.

Everthing statred out fine once the work was done it is like the company forgot what was to be done next, after a month and a half it was not reported that the work was finished I had to call and find out what was going on and the person was rude,it was reported the work was finish and now it has bee over 2 months and they have not set up the appointment so have the city come out to do the inspection which that is what I was told the company was going to do, I called today to find out when this is going to happen and ove course there is no one to talk to as they are all in a meeting, asked when that would be and she was not sure advise her I was not happy with the customer service I have bee getting since October ,2022 and all she could say is I'm sorry

The three installers, Eddy, Fred and Nick did an excellent job of installing my new furnace and all-new duct system. They completely redesigned it for maximum air flow and heat efficiency. They did an awesome job!

I called Goetl because of their commercial. I didn't want to have to research a bunch of smaller local businesses so I thought going with a bigger company would mean they were more reputable.
I had Goetl come out to give me an estimate on something that was going on under the house. The guys showed up on time, they were very nice, and we chatted about similar interests. They went under the house and used their telescopic camera to see what was going on in the pipes. They showed me the problem (which was legit) but then told me that it was going to cost $9-$10K. They got me on the phone with their boss to discuss the issue and find out what kind of payment options I had. The payment plan seemed great and was minimal with zero interest for a year but still, $10K? I needed to think about it and get a few more estimates. I paid my $89 (they told me it was $49 when I made the appt) and told them to email me the quote.
The next company I called was a company that had installed my water heater a few months prior. They were contracted through the LARGE RETAIL STORE that I bought the water heater from so I assumed they were properly vetted. The other company's guys came out, installed 2 toilets while they were there (for under $200), showed me their video, and quoted $1,100. They are schedule to do the job this week and I don't have to set up monthly payments over the next 10 years to get it done.
Do your research! Don't let someone talk you into something you can't afford even if they give you a great payment schedule. I faced the same type of people when I had my roof replaced and my house painted. They get you on the phone with their boss and then the boss acts all sympathetic and says, ""Tell you what, I'm not really supposed to do this but..."" and then they tell you they will give you a discount or some such nonsense. In both of those other instances (the roof and the painting) I went with the little guys who gave me a quote much lower than the big company. And it wasn't shoddy work just because it was cheaper. Most (not all so be careful) of these little guys have to do good work because they have to maintain a reputation. They don't have the money for big commercials to boost them up.
Goetl, I know a manager will respond to this review saying they are sorry and that they would like to speak to me for further info. Here is the further info. Look at the reviews on this site and, rather than make a little apology and try to seem like you're doing something about it, ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! If it's the companies you're contracting, do a better job vetting those companies, but since the ""financing"" is coming directly from your company, I think you guys are just trying to take advantage of people. BE BETTER!!! BE HUMAN!!!

I called them about a toilet Dutton had installed earlier this year. It was leaking and the man from Goettl said it wasn't the toilet, but the pipe coming out of the floor. He said it was too short and would require jackhammering the floor and $3000. I am older and a woman, but have been in the design business for years and have done numerous remodels for clients. I asked him about an extender, which he eventually used. After 3 days, and two other plumbers, the last thing said to me was ""I hope that works."" I'm still cleaning up from the messy job that was done. I'll probably need to repaint the bathroom. NEVER use this company.

Absolutely the worst service for a first-time customer whose heating had gone out. (Was recommeded by a friend.) In fact, they never came during the two 4-hour windows they provided me on separate days after missing their first appointment. I can only imagine, if this is how they treat a new customer, what they really must be like. Dispatch was unapologetic and basically said, ""there are a lot of people with heating out now."" I will never use this company for any work at all. Do yourself a massive favor and save yourself valuable time: AVOID GOETTL AT ALL COSTS!
