I want to leave a lower review but I don't want to completely ruin their reputation, even though I will probably search elsewhere. I simply want to help others be aware so they do not encounter my same frustrations. I also don't want them to start fighting me on here since they already voiced their strong opinions to me on the phone- I'm okay to agree to disagree. I found them on yelp. I have used them a couple times. Yelp says they give free estimates. The other times I have used them, I have agreed to go with them on the spot and they fixed the issues. For pricing transparency, I paid $99 to clean some parts on the heating unit and to be told to replace the filters, and $99 to replace a gasket behind the bathroom tub faucet. (This was a positive experience because I had received another quote elsewhere that it would cost $600 to replace piping to solve the issue.) However, this time they initially quoted me $361 to replace a kitchen sink faucet, as long as I was the one to provide the faucet. I thought it was high and wanted to get other quotes. They still wanted to charge me $79 regardless for a drive-out visit. We spent an hour going back and forth about this at my house for what would have been a 5 minute visit. So I would advise to be sure to clarify when on the phone if you are getting a free estimate or if you are paying the $79 estimate fee. I guess the other times I used them maybe I wasn't getting a free estimate and the service fee ended being worked into it? Again, they will disagree with me that I did not ask for a free estimate, and I was subsequently told that is only for big jobs ($361 seems like a big job to me), but that's fine. This is just my perspective on the situation. Hope it helps someone else.
As an addendum I did call another company I found on yelp and asked them how their process works. They said they would come out and look at it, and if they simply told me the faucet needed to be placed then they would not charge a service fee. If I decided to go with them they quoted $125.

Good plumbers but..... I had apprentice of some sort come out and Gilbert. Gilbert was EXTREMELY condescending and rude to the apprentice many times IN FRONT OF ME. Absolutely terrible. I had to say something and Gilbert blew it off, citing his boss/owner. Will never get my business again. Please treat people with basic respect, Gilbert. It is not only part of being a decent human being, it is good for business.

Fortunately/unfortunately (for me), I've used their services 2x in the span of a week now, for different plumbing issues. First was to replace the wax seal under the toilet in the master bathroom that was leaking. Recently had new tile laid and there wasn't a good seal when the tile guy re-sat the toilet back into place. Gilbert to the rescue! They were quick to respond, he arrived when they said he would, and he was very professional and thorough. I'd like to add, reasonably priced too.
Fast forward 1 week, and awoke to water in the basement. Once again, Gilbert to the rescue! He was able to come out the same day, quickly diagnose the cause, AND get things working again.
Hopefully I won't need a plumber for awhile, but should I, I won't hesitate to call them again...great service!

I had been without a hot water heater for a week because we had signed a contract with a dishonest company. Learn from my mistake and don't just look at a company's rating - read the reviews! The one I originally picked had a 4.5 out of almost 2,000 reviews (I forgot that some companies hire people to write reviews). In my desperation to have hot water, I called them out and signed a contract. They were supposed to send a copy of the contract to me by email. We never received that copy of the contract. When I called their customer support they sent me a very vague invoice that said they would install a ""tankless water heater"". No model number, no mention of installing ductwork and nothing about pulling a permit. When we read their 1 star reviews we discovered that they never pulled permits for 3 different people. And, people said they never got their deposits back. I tried to call and get my invoice corrected and I kept getting the run around. The invoice said there was a 3 day cancellation policy but no one I talked to knew how that worked. Finally I drove down to their office with a written cancellation letter and had their plumbing manager sign my letter. He called an hour later and said they had refunded our deposit. So far, no credit has come across. We just sent the credit card company the signed cancellation letter and the vague invoice so hopefully we will get our money back. The worst thing is this dishonest company had said we didn't need to run another gas line. When Gilbert came out he said we did need a gas line. The tankless water heater would have worked fine in the summer but we'd be in trouble in the winter when we ran the furnace. Thank goodness we didn't let that dishonest company near our house.

Thank you Duct Bros for giving us a fair price and getting it installed so quickly. You are in my cell phone contact list and I'll be calling you in the future.

Gilbert was amazing. I called for an emergency at 2am. We had a faucet blow and my apartment building did not respond to any calls. This was after I called the utility company with no success in shutting off the water. Gilbert was a calm presence to be around for sure. He explained everything he found and answered all the questions I had. Very professional. I don't ever want to go through anything like this ever again but 10/10 recommend.

It is refreshing to have been provided service by a company that has reasonable prices which was completed by skilled and professional staff. Gilbert, the service technician and plumber, arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, recommended cost-effective solutions and completed service in a timely manner.

I would highly recommend this company for plumbing, heating and cooling services and plan to do business with them in the future.

My furnace died. Yelp gave me five companies to interact with. These guys were personable, professional, and efficient. They showed up at proposed times, modified my job per my requests, and answered all questions in language I could understand. Their pricing was fair and far exceeded any other proposals. Travis (whom I spoke to by name), and the other young gentleman I interacted with, as well as Lindsey on the phone for scheduling and the inspection were very professional, considerate and compassionate. This company and its personnel have earned my business and my loyalty. I will keep them in mind for other projects and upgrades I have in mind for my home.
