Great communication. On time for job. Finished project quickly and competently. Hoped he was going to be interested in repairing underlying plumbing issue with house. But didn't seem to be. I'm guessing that job was beyond his usual scope of practice. that said, I definitely recommend for clearcut general plumbing jobs.

My original post was based on the first visit. The 2nd, however, was a different story. We need two hose bibs replaced outside. One was easily replaced. The other would have required a bit of work. He decided he would ""repack"" the tap as opposed to replacing it. We paid him and he went on his merry way.

We needed to use the tap that had been repacked only to find the threads had been completely stripped.

Not happy campers. We won't be calling again.

I called Dennis after reading other reviews. Our plumbing was backing up into the shower! Dennis came out within the hour. He gave an estimate over the phone before he arrived. He arrived with a mask for our protection and kept it on the entire time. Within 2 hours the job was complete and he charged much less than the original estimate. Before starting the job, he tried very hard to accomplish the task in the least expensive manner, but we did not have outside access so the toilet had to be removed. The entire process was very painless. We will call DS Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs!
