I have a Noritz tankless heater that is getting old (12 years +). I've used Right Guys Plumbing and Drunk Plumbers (the owner of Drunk Plumbers worked at Right Guys before they went to Sacramento). These plumbers really know tankless water heaters.

I had another company out on Saturday, and the lead plumber started drooling when he saw the 12+ year old tank. He got the diagnostics from the remote and then pointed out that I needed monthly descaling, and to do that I would need to cut pipes, get a new unit, and lay out $4000. I told them they get the $110 service fee, and I get a second opinion.

Victor and his assistant came out, took the unit apart and cleaned it, and it is working just fine now. He asked me, ""Did somebody else look at this?"", I said yes. ""They trip the GFI so no power, they unplug several connectors also, they leave screws on bottom of unit. I think they play games to trip up bad plumbers. Not very nice."" I asked about new plumbing for descaling, and he said, ""No, not with this unit. Already too old, and cleaning that way will shorten what life is left.""

Right Guys and Drunk Plumbers are the same, and operate the same way: they both know exactly what they are doing, and they both work hard to resolve the customers' problems. I will need a new unit in the next few years, and I have already asked Drunk Plumbers to help with selection and installation.

Viktor was extremely professional, and was more than fair with pricing. Before stopping by, he tried to help me address my tankless water heater issue over the phone. While he stopped by two weekends in a row, one to figure out what the issue was, and the other to replace my faulty pump. He only charged for the time he replaced the pump.
He is very friendly, and very knowledgeable.

I have been having issues with my tank less water heater and had trouble finding a plumber who was willing to repair this type of device. I have a warranty policy with First American, and they were not even able to locate somebody in my area who was willing to service tank less.

Victor was fantastic. Not only did he return my call within the hour, he gave me a very fair price and even convinced my warranty company to cover the costs. He was on time, professional, and quick.

Drunk plumbers is the best company on the west side. They are very honest and knowledgeable.
I have Rinnai tankless water heater that just stopped working today morning. I called Drunk Plumbers and they set time for 2 hours after because it was an emergency. They were right on time diagnosed the problem and fix it for just $225. Other companies asked for $575.

I highly recommend Victor. My tankless water system shut down for no apparently reason. He returned my call quickly and resolved the problem over the phone. Nonetheless, I asked him to make a house visit to conduct a thorough investigation and service my system. He arranged a time that was convenient for both of us and called prior to arrival. He even insisted on taking off his shoes before entering the house. Rather than promote more expensive repairs, he insisted on conducting only minor and inexpensive maintenance to flush the system and protect the pipes. He spent nearly three hours on the project and charged lower rates than any other repair person I have hired. I will definitely contact him again for any problems with my water heater.

Don't let the name fool you! I called Drunk Plumbers for annual maintenance on our Rinnai tankless water heater. Victor was extremely responsive, easy to schedule an appointment, arrived on time, was thorough and efficient. Victor was also very friendly and knowledgeable.
