My experience with this company and mainly the owner were awful and a complete ripoff. I needed them to put in a simple ice cube maker water line. I spoke to the owner and made sure he understood i have galv piping for water and he quoted a price. He sent someone out and as soon as the tech showed up he was trying to charge me more and told me it wasn't worth his time to put this in for me. So i had him call the owner and verify the pricing. The tech ran up to ace for parts and got to work. After a very short amount of time he came back to me saying, ""all finished"". So i go right to the waterline and notice that there is no water pressure. He starts making excuses about how there isn't anything he can do about it. So i sent him away. The next day i called the owner and explained the problem. We quickly talked and he said he would look into it and call me back. He never bothered to call me back so i started communicating by email. And the owner did the same thing the tech did by making excuses and eventually decided it wasn't worth his time to fix the problem he started. The bottom line is that instead of installing the line properly the tech just went up to ace and picked up a PinHole type valve which doesn't work on galv piping. I made it clear at the time of the quote which was from the owner that he understood that i had galv piping. This is a complete bait and switch operation with extremely bad ownership. Stay away from this company!!!

We just moved into our house after a year of remodeling. The first time I did the laundry, our bathtubs and sinks backed up with sewage. Talk about panic. We had a plumber come out immediately. He could not snake the main line because of tree roots. He charged us to camera the line and quoted us an insane amount to fix the spot.

Chad was our third quote. He did not charge to camera the line and gave us a free quote. His quote was half the amount of the first quote and cheaper than my second quote. He was so knowledgeable and patiently explained the whole process to me. I now know more about trenchless sewer lines and sewers than I ever care to LOL. He is a super busy guy but he was able to do the emergency repair for me rather quickly then come back to finish off the full project. We had opted to get our sewer line replaced completely with the trenchless versus just fixing the one clay spot due to all the trees in our backyard. We didn't want to deal with another clog/sewer repair anytime soon.

Anyways, if I could give him 10 stars I would. Super nice guy, hard working employees, best price. He didn't even collect a deposit from me after the emergency repair. We didn't have to pay him until all the work was completely done. Everything was permitted so you know they don't Mickey Mouse around.

I am so happy that I chose Drainline Plumbing to do my work. Chad responded immediately to my first call and gave me a more than fair estimate to replace my sewer lateral. There was some urgency in getting the job done and he fit the job into his schedule. He even shared with me that the city had a grant available to help pay for sewer laterals.

I always get nervous when I have to call someone in to do some work on my house because there are so many shady people out there. Chad has integrity and is willing to work with you. I will definitely be calling Drainline Plumbing again. You have a permanent customer!

Made an appointment for snaking my main line between 9-10 am. Never showed. Called at 11 and was running behind. Never heard from him again. If you want the job done, call a reputable plumber, not this one!

Prior to purchasing our home I called Chad and he provided me a lot of details regarding sewer lateral. We were making offers on homes that happened to required new sewer lines. After speaking with Chad I had a better idea of the process and what to asses to understand the cost. Chads info put me at ease because Prior to speaking to him I had heard horror stories regarding sewer lateral and costs associated with the job.

We eventually purchased a home and it needed a sewer lateral to be completed after closing. The county I live in requires the lateral be complete to standard and tested within several months. If it was not done the county would do if and place a lean on property. I was prepared after speaking with Chad the first time.

I called Chad back and set an appointment. He eventually was able to come out and assessed the job. His initial quote was reasonable compared to other companies in the area and way below a few. Furthermore at the time his website stated he would beat other quotes by 10%.

Chad was apprehensive about doing my job at the price due to the strict permit process in my county. I am a stickler and stayed on him with no relent and he finally came through. I could have gone with someone else but I am now incredibly happy I did the research and stuck with Drainline. The job was complete in a day and the crew were incredibly professional in all aspects. The cleanup after the job was fantastic. The job site when they were complete was cleaner than before they started.

Overall a positive experience and great quality of work. Chad followed up to ensure satisfaction and provided the certification from the county. I have since recommended the company to my realtor and friends.

Had a great experience with Chad and his team. He was very responsive, on time, took care of all the inspections and permits. (We had to have a sewer lateral done on a home purchase.)True to his word. The work was done timely and the clean up was great.

I called Chad because he was Oakland based. He answered his phone (a good sign) and agreed to come by later that day. I was sold when I met Chad at our rental house in Montclair. He promptly video taped the sewer lateral, assessed the pipeline condition, reviewed the site conditions, and gave me a quote. We negotiated and signed a contract before he left. I liked that he was ready to work and patiently explained the entire process. Three days later, exactly as promised, his crew began work on replacing our building sewer with a polyethylene liner. They started at 8:30 am, finished by 2:00 pm, and coordinated the inspection with the City and EBMUD. Of course everything passed, our tenant wasn't even inconvenienced! The crew worked carefully and proficiently, and was courteous to our neighbors. I would gladly use Drainline Plumbing & Sewer Specialist on my next house.

I unexpectedly had to replace my sewer line. Chad (the owner) was friendly and professional. He scheduled the initial consult within a couple of days. And was able to complete the work in just one day (the very next week).

His crew were also very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

His services were the by far the most economical, but very high quality. I am very satisfied.
