I recently had a water heater issue at and called several plumbers for quotes. Unfortunately, none of them were able to properly diagnose the issue. Luckily, I came across Drain Rite Plumbing and their expertise provided me with a solution at a fair price. Pedro the service technician was able to properly identify and fix the issue within an hour of the call.

I highly recommend Drain Rite Plumbing and thank Pedro and the company for their professionalism, expertise, honesty, and willingness to work with the manufacturer's warranty. If you have a Rheem water heater that's giving you an issue, you'll be doing yourself a disservice for not giving them a call first.

Our Water Heater went on Sat morning. I called Rheem manufacturer to request warranty service. I received email by Sunday that Drain Rite Plumbing out of Anaheim will coordinate service for our area. Spoke with John Monday morning at Drain rite. John said they received the order and have parts on hand and would send a plumber tech first thing Tuesday between 8-10am. Technician name is Pedro and arrived at 9am. He accessed the problem and replaced faulty parts Gas Control Valve and Chamber Sensor. Pedro took care of this job and was done before 11am. Very friendly and professional. Great attitude. Even called back a half hour later to check on us. Thank you John and Pedro for such a prompt response. It's tough not having hot water with 6 people household including a 92 mother. Highly recommend Drain Rite Plumbing.

Our water heater stopped working because of the sensor and warranty sent over rite plumbing. Their response was prompt and friendly. They came and got the job done and was very friendly. No complaints. I would definitely use their service again if needed. Our water heater works great now.

Great experience with Drain Rite. Rheem approved a replacement waterheater for me and within 30 mins of the ticket being sent to Drain Rite I received a voicemail from John (the Dad) to set an appointment. I had been without hot water for 8 days due to Rheem parts on backorder. John (the son and now owner) heard the dialog and was at my home within an hour to help me out!

My main water shutoff value was stuck so he taught me how to turn off the water at the street, I wanted a turnoff tool like his and he offered to select one while we were at home depot.

John went with me to Home Depot, told me what to expect, dropped off the old unit, grabbed the new unit and the water shut off tool and waited very patiently while I argued with the Home Depot employee over the warranty.

Once the new unit was at the house he hooked it up within 15 minutes!
We discuss other plumping work I'm thinking about doing and he'll be sending me quotes. I really enjoyed getting to know him and appriectead his work.

We've had this company help us twice in the last 8 months and both times they have come quickly to resolve our problems. The first instance was a water heater replacement. They are one of the few that stock Rheem water heaters, which are the brand that have lasted longest for us. The installer was quick, pleasant and the installation looked great. The second time was today, when the bathroom in our guest house backed up with 3 guests there...disaster! They came within 3 hours of my calling and fixed the problem. I am so grateful.

Service was quick and easy. John who I assumed was talking to me over the phone was polite and able to schedule a service the same day. The tech, Pedro thoroughly checked my Rheem water heater and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Labor cost was about $145 and because my heater was still under warranty, parts were covered. I highly recommend Pedro who was very friendly and informative!

I concur with those who praised Isaac, who came for my Rheem water heater repair. He was very informative, efficient, and friendly. Late 2021 inflation has raised the labor rate to $145 (earlier reviews mention $135), but I'm fine with that: based on experience with doing my own plumbing repairs, there's a 20% chance I'd run into some issue I'm not prepared to handle or might not do perfectly, so when it comes to a gas appliance, I feel safer paying for a pro's knowledge and experience.
