Had a great experience with Drain Right. The bathtub wasn't draining, Jesus Flores of Drain Right came out around 8:00pm and in no time it was fixed and he cleaned up after him self. Very happy with their services.

I am writing this review to commend an awesome plumber by the name of Cesar. My shower was not draining. Cesar showed up first thing in the morning. He was courteous, professional and got the job done quickly.

I was so stoked when your your rep John left I felt like celebrating.
My problem was a corroded shower drain the had pretty much closed itself with rust from not being used. I made some headway but knew I needed to call in the pros.
John was just that. Professional in every way and willing to go the extra mile. At first the situation was looking quite hopeless and expensive. He got thru the trap in the shower but then was stopped a few feet further down the line even after he tried snaking it three or four times and we were both disappointed. Even at that point he helped me figure where the line ran for opening the slab to make the repair possible as I am a major do it yourselfer.

I was unhappily looking at a two or three thousand dollar repair or at the very least a lot of time and headaches doing it myself. John said ""let me try it one more time"" before he would call it quits (with no charge to me I might add). I said go for it.

He started snaking it again and then and said I think I got through. I couldn't believe it but he said he definitely had gotten past where he had been stuck before. I was so cautiously ecstatic I said if that clears the drain I am going to sacrifice a goat tonight. He laughed and said it feels pretty good and he could hear the water draining well. I could too and was so happy at how much work and potential cost he had just saved me by his extra effort.

Thanks again so much John. You're THE MAN. You made my day.
Now I have to go find me a goat. LOL
Wish me luck.

Drain Right, more like Drain Wrong. They will rip you off and leave you in the sewer. I almost got fooled by these guys twice. I am writing this because people should know what they are getting into when they call Drain Wrong to their home in a plumbing emergency. They are crooks!

My 1st experience with Drain Wrong was when my driveway was flooded because the pump that pumps rain water from the drive way out to the public street was not working. I live on a property that has two homes on it. We are the back unit and we share a driveway with the front unit. The driveway goes down in elevation from the public street so we need to pump rain water that builds in the driveway out to the street. There were heavy rains and the driveway began to flood because the pump wasn't working. My 70-year-old front unit neighbor said she would call plumbers to fix it. Drain Wrong came out and almost had this 70-year-old woman signing a contract on behalf of both our properties for $16 GRAND. She called me, I dealt with the plumbers from Drain Wrong and we averted disaster by not signing the contract and by getting a 2nd opinion from a plumbing company that was not trying to rip people off. Instead of diagnosing the problem correctly by learning the pump was to blame, Drain Wrong said it was necessary to rip up the entire concrete driveway and replace all the underground pipes leading out to the street. Multiple plumbers from Drain Wrong said the same thing. I continuously asked if it was the pump was to blame and they all told me it was not. They put pressure on me to enter into a contract by saying that if I did not do this work I would be in violation of city rules and could get in to trouble for not doing it. Fortunately, I called an honest plumber and he diagnosed the problem correctly and we purchased a new pump and there has not been an issue for the last 2 years. Replacing that pump cost $800.00 which is a lot less than the $16K Drain Wrong wanted which would NOT have fixed the problem.

In my 2nd experience with Drain Wrong, I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and called a general plumbing service that finds local plumbers and has them sent out to your home the same day. Drain Wrong was called out to my house. I had a severely clogged toilet and was in need of a plumber, so I allowed Drain Wrong to come and see if they could fix the issue. At my doorstep, even before the plumber from Drain Wrong had entered into my home to look at the problem, he was telling me that it was a clog in the ""main line"" leading out to the sewage. I asked him to come in and look at the problem but he said he did not have to because of how I described the problem. He said he would have to replace the main line leading out to the sewer before he even looked at the problem and said it would easily cost up to $3K. I asked him to look at the problem, he did and brought in a large snake. He snaked the toilet and it remained clogged and then said, ""yep, it is the main line."" He said I had to enter into a $3K contract right there or I would not be able to use the restroom. He said if did not do this I would be in violation with the city. Not knowing much about plumbing, I explained that I would like to get a 2nd opinion and explained it would be alright for a few days since I had two other toilets in the home that worked. I then asked if he was sure it was the ""main line"" that was the problem since two other toilets were actually functioning in the home. That is when he started to back off the idea that the clog was in the main line. I am not a plumber and know nothing about plumbing, but it makes sense that if the ""main line"" was clogged and needed to be replaced that the other two toilets, showers and sinks in the home also would not be draining. When I asked that question he then said it was the toilet. He said it would be necessary to buy a new toilet from Drain Wrong for $700.00. If I didn't do it the problem would move to the main line and cause plumbing issues all throughout my home. I figured he was right and I scheduled them to come out with a new toilet 3 days later and I would pay them $700. Luckily, before Drain Wrong came out to do the installation I had an honest plumber come to my home. He simply plunged the toilet, which I had done numerous times before Drain Wrong came out and snaked it, and it magically flushed properly. I called Drain Wrong and told them I did not need their $700 toilet.

Drain Wrong is a bunch of crooks. They scare people that have plumbing emergencies so they can ""up-sell"" them on things that don't fix the problem. They use peoples' ignorance of plumbing to take advantage so people enter into contracts that are not needed. They threaten you with being in violation of city codes and falsely say the problem will spread so that you enter into a contract for thousands of dollars while under stress. In short, Drain Right will rip you off and leave you in the sewer.

UPDATE: I just heard from another yelp (er) that Drain Right in his words tried to ""scam"" him too. Same sort of trench less root clog repair. Only he said he did not fall for it. I wish I had trusted my gut. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I have spoken to Drain right (months ago now) , they tried to spin their ""mistake"" talking about the warranty on the pipe ( I didn't need) and how they would get back to me ( SURE ). I told their field guys that my grandmother has Alzheimer's and was flushing too much toilet paper down the drain and the clog was under the house, but they kept insisting it was roots in the front yard. They told me their camera saw a root clog but never showed me the video (always check the video and look for a date and time stamp) After the ""root repair"" of course the drain was STILL clogged they went under the house and broke open a pipe under her toilet and found the real problem, a wall of toilet paper inside. I KNEW IT!!!!!!!! I paid out $10,000 dollars and feel cheated . Never again will I trust Drain Right. The issue was under the house the whole time like I told them, not under the front lawn. Use at your own risk!
