Plumbing Nerds is the newest evolution of the pipe company founded by our CEO after relocating in Southwest Florida in 2007. Initially, he focused on building projects. But, after surviving the 2008-2009 recession, he came to see that working for contractors lacked the autonomy over his company flow that he wanted.

In 2012, he shifted his efforts to domestic services, first partnering with a associate on a business that had branches in Florida and two other states. When he bought out his partner on the local portion of the operation in 2016, he needed a different name and image. This is when Plumbing Nerds came to life.

Hi, I'm John Verhoff, the owner and ""Head Nerd"" of Plumbing Nerds. I've been passionate about the plumbing trade since high school, and I'm devoted on offering the best level of support to my clients.

When I started Plumbing Nerds in 2007, I identified a gap for a more approach to the plumbing industry. We're driven by our purpose to ""change the way the world views skilled trades,"" which means offering tech-savvy solutions to routine plumbing needs.
