Our water stopped working late on a Saturday night... called Don early Sunday morning and he came out right away. He immediately found the problem (no water in our cement water catchment), gave us possible reasons for the lack of water, as well as several solutions/alternatives. Don was very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help fix the problem we were facing.

My 3 yr. old finally admitted what I had assumed for weeks that he flushed his robot hence the backed up toilet. Don arrived promptly at our appointment time and got said robot out without having to take the toilet apart.$$$ Thank goodness! He also walked me through how to fix the rusted handle and broken valve easily for cheap. Let's face it, I ain't got nothing better to be doing now a days. I also got the senior discount BONUS!

My pump for my water catchment tank was not working. Having to take care of two grandchildren, not having water for any period of time, was not an option. I called Don (Drain Man) at 1:30 and told him my situation. I told him I lived in Volcano thinking he would make any excuse not to drive up the mountain, like so many repair people do. Instead, he asked me a few questions about my problem and then said he would be up between 3-4 pm THAT AFTERNOON !!!! Like the SAME day!!!! I couldn't believe it. Well upon arriving, he diagnosed the problem to be the pump pressure switch. He then drove back to Kea'au to get the part. He returned around 5:15 and installed the new switch. My crisis was over. Don also explained to me that eventually the water bladder needed to be replaced. Wanting to avert another disaster I asked him to replace that as well. He completed the additional repairs the next day. Don is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend him and it is comforting to know that I have a Plummer that I can count on whenever I need him. Oh, and his prices are really reasonable. Prior to starting the work he provided me with an accurate estimate. Mahalo plenty Don!!!!

2/18/2020 Drain Man (Don) Hilo, HI 808-796-5080 I contacted Drain Man based on positive reviews with Yelp. My kitchen drain was clogged. He showed up early for my appointment and we inspected the drain and line under the house together. It turned out that in addition to the clog we found the drain pipe had sheared at the floor. He also found a leak in the supply line to my half bath sink. He proposed replacing the drain line from the sink to the main drain line and replacing the supply lines to the half bath sink. I agreed and he worked efficiently to repair both. Both are working fine now. He kept me updated with his work schedule over the two days he was working for me and I am very pleased with the workmanship and value. He also did a great job cleaning up and disposing of the discard materials. I recommend Drain Man for your plumbing repair requirements.

Had a problem with the toilet at the Log Cabin in Volcano and called Don, whom I've never met but had read these reviews ah d he stands up to every one!!! On first call he asked if he could call me back cause he was in a crawl space! I was already in like! Who answers their phone when they are in a crawl space? He had me right there! We then set up an appointment for him to come up. By appointment time and after a good plunge, toilet water was no longer rising to the top so I called to confer as to if he thought we should snake it anyway. A von artist would have said 'Yes Absolutely!' What Don said was , 'Well it's $250 to snake the line no matter when I come so if it seems OK there's no need to spend that'. Now I'm a property manager on Oahu and can smell a con a mile away and he had my . Can't recommend Don highly enough. If you have a drain issue don't even look at the other ads, Just Call Don!!!
