Drain Doctor used to be a cut above the rest. Now, there is no difference between Drain Doctor and the rest. No worse, no better. $350 is way too much to clear a sewer lateral. Especially when I can buy a bladder for $20 and do it myself. Hauling the sewer rooter around to clear drains is theater to justify the $350.

We recently encountered a major problem with our old galvanized water lines. Called Drain Doctor and requested a next day appointment. Mr. Song arrived early to analyze the problem. In brief, he removed the old pipe which had disintegrated over a period of 60 years and replaced it with 1-inch diameter copper of the highest quality. Project required extensive excavation in the front lawn, all the way from the city main to our house with numerous shut off valves, T's, plus a capability for future extension. Briefly, the entire system was brought up to code. The lawn that was removed was replaced and there is no sign that Mr. Song and his crew had ever been here. The work, e.g., layout and joints, in my opinion, was of the highest caliber; the system is working now better than ever. The cost was very reasonable and the work was completed seamlessly, in a minimum amount of time. In spite of the challenge of working around a broken system, the water was only off a few minutes over a period of 3 long days!!!!!!!!

I am happy to recommend Mr. Song, his team and Drain Doctor for serious plumbing jobs. They are polite, efficient and extremely talented!.

I had a backed up drain and tried to clear it myself. Well one thing led to another and soon I was past my skill level. So I call Drain Doctor and Javier showed up with in 45 minutes to properly clear my drain and fix the plumbing issue. So thankful Javier was able to repair and fix my problem.

We called Drain Doctor X because we have had them out 1 yr ago for another drain and were very happy with the service. Today we had a kitchen drain issue. We called and they were her in about 20 mins. Had the drain cleared within 30 mins. We will definitely use this service again.

Eric did a great job. He was very thorough, solved the plumbing problems on a 52 my ear old home and audio and video taped the whole process so that I could see exactly what was done. I highly recommend Eric without any reservations.

We had a very leaky shower so we called Drain doctor. Chul Kim helped us out and he was AMAZING. He worked very hard and diligently to figure out what the issue was.

These guys are great!! This is the third time we've needed them to unblock one of our drains. Ask for Mr. Park if you can, he's the best. He had to replace our garbage disposal as it was all rusted out. Then he ran his ""jet"" to clear out the pipes. Now everything is working fine. He also gave us a discount as all that work wasn't cheap.
I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews about this company. People complain about the price but maybe they don't realize how labor intensive this work really is.

Drain doctor is my hero. Plugged drain all fixed in record time; what a silly to put too much down the garbage disposal at once-knew better but...Called Drain doctor-done and done.

We called Drain Doctor on the weekend, never our favorite time! But they sent a service tech within a short time, even though we live in the east bay, who cleared our backed-up plumbing quickly. This clog has happened before, quite recently (about 6 weeks), following heavy rains and house guests. The original company wasn't answering the phone this weekend (New Years). We had them film the pipe and repair it. Required a permit, but finished now with improved pipe connectors, etc., and we're quite content. Really like the tech who worked with us.

Amazing service! Had my bathtub filling up with water and then i noticed when i flushed water was not going down and instead it was backing up in the bathtub so at 11 pm called them and john came 30 min after! Didnt even go inside the house and drained all the sewers from outside lawn! So happy it's fixed after 1 hour :)
