Quick response, cleared drain. However, they charged $395 for less than an hour's work. I should have insisted on a written quote, verbal quote was mumbled and I thought he said much less. Should have just rented a power auger myself, as I had already opened the cleanout and tried a snake. Will not use this company again, feel like they took advantage.
Update: Company contacted me, refunded $100 (which I appreciate) to match what I thought was the high end of the quote, and asked me to update review. Be aware that their policy is to charge per job, not per hour, and to only give quotes on site. This didn't work out very well for my situation, which was quick because I had already diagnosed and prepped for them. While their response time was very fast, if I had known in advance that their standard charge for drain clearing was so high I would have gone with another option ;).

I would give zero stars if I could. Drain Doctors said they would arrive today between 10-12!!! They showed up at 10:00, perfect.

The man at the door introduced himself. He came into my home straight into the kitchen. My husband is a contractor and had it all set up to be snaked. He Made it super easy. Sam the plumber barley even looked at the situation and says "" you have too much glue on your pipes and I will need to saw all the pipes out "" um, no Sam these are all threaded. He argued with me without even looking "" no, too much glue ""

I said let's call my husband and you can talk to him. My husband got one sentence out and Sam said "" I can not help you"" and he left. still never really even looked at the situation. He was in my house less than 90 seconds.


I called the manager because this was so unprofessional and beyond rude. Apparently the manager was aware that something happened but didn't care enough to follow up. Not sure that Sam knew what he was doing or thought I was dumb and wanted to take advantage and create more work than necessary and give me a big bill. Perhaps he showed up with no intentions of working.

We had another company come and it took them 10 mins and out the door the went. They were very professional and clearly knew what they were doing.

It's effective and fast to deal the bathroom issue that we had. Quick and fast. We tried other companies, which took endless appointments, so we appreciate of Drain Doctor service. The only concern is the price, which is higher. If it's simple work and you have time to deal with it. It's possible not worth for asking them. If you are in urgent and the work with certain challenge, they did the good job.

My husband and I have been using Drain Doctor for probably 15 years. Professional, reliable and they stand by their work. Today Rocky and David come to our house and fixed two leaky toilets. Courteous, knowledgeable and they were done in about 30 minutes. It would have taken my husband and I much longer and trips to the hardware store. And they give a senior discount. Very pleased with this company.

A shout out to Martin and Fabian for great work today in fixing the broken pipes under the house. They showed up exactly on time and worked hard the entire day and fixed the problem.

Vivian was great in getting them out first to size up the problem, and then schedule their visit to rectify it.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. They truly were an answer to prayer!

Our kitchen sink was clogged at 6 pm and Drain doctor sent Justin to fix it. He came in at 9 pm and stayed till 11:30 pm to fix the issue. He was very thorough in his assessment and fixing.

The service was very professional. I would definitely go with them again.

We had a problem with our toilet flooded on a Saturday night. We called multiple places and none of them could come in until the next day or possibly Monday. I called green doctor and they said that someone will be able to come in around 8 PM after he is done wrapping up a job all the way in San Jose, mind you I live in Hayward. Danny showed up with Mr. Kim and he was able to assess the problem and take care of it within 30 minutes. I was very happy with the service and I recommend Danny and Mr. Kim whenever you have a problem.
