My kitchen sink backup Saturday (Day before Father's day 2020), had a difficult time to find someone the fix it. So happy to find Kim on Monday. He was punctuated, very professional, and honest. He told me the price after a brief inspection. He explained why hydro-jet is much more better than the traditional way of unclogging the line in my situation. I am very happy with his work. After that, I also asked him to check on the main line. It had tree root in a couple of joints and create headache every few year or so. Sure enough, roots are growing like crazy in those 2 joints. He cleaned the roots and showed me on the camera starting from the street main line to the clean out. I am super happy with his work. Price is very reasonable. He is going to be my guy for life. Sewer Lateral Inspection done by Kim before buying a house in San Jose. Super nice availability, was able to come over within 3 hours after the call today. Spent time to explain the situation and review the whole video of the sewer inspection with me. Video saved on a USB key and given to me. All of that for a competitive price. Definitively recommend.

I contacted Drain Control through The Request a Quote feature on Yelp. Kim responded within 20 minutes which was super fast compared to most companies that won't return my messages. Kim came out the next day and took a look at my sewer main in which a section of it had become corroded. He assessed the job and offered a reasonable price to fix and replace cast iron with ABS. Kim fixed it quickly but did it extremely well with clean joints and even added a clean out cap which we didn't have before. Upon finishing the job he noticed the kitchen drain that ran into that new ABS sewer line sounded clogged. He recognized this by tapping the pipe and noticing it wasn't sounding hollow. He pulled off the end cap and the whole pipe was covered in 2" of sludge. He said because there was no grade on the drain, it accumulated waste. He offered a really reasonable price to fix it and came out the next day. Results were amazing and it felt so good to have ABS everywhere and no chance of clogs. Additionally we got a camera inspection of our sewer line to the street. His camera was very hi def and we could see a lot of detail. At a certain section there was a huge tree root blockage he pointed out to me. We agreed to use his hydro jet which he charged a reasonable price for to clean it and the whole line out. After that work he showed me the cleaned out sewer line with his camera and the roots were completely gone in addition to some other sections that had small growth. He mentioned this should keep blockages away for a long time. Overall I loved Kim's work ethic and honesty as well as how quick and detailed he was. I never felt nervous that he couldn't handle any of the work. If you need anything plumbing related fixed in your house, contact drain control.

Kim was here right on time. Very punctual.

It took him appx. 45 mins. to get everything done. Give him the benefit of the doubt that he already been here 2 years ago so he knows what the drill is.

I was particular impressed with his equipment. He said he can handle restaurant clogged drain because of those high power equipment he has. He didn't use a snake but that high power thingy which unclog and shoot high pressure water at the same time.

Out of all the bid, his was the lowest and though it's just unclogging the drain, and I don't know how well he handle heavy duty serious stuff but he sure did a good job for me.

Our kitchen sink stopped draining. We contacted several companies. Kim got back to us quickly and came over right away. He was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. The clog was not an easy one to clear but he kept at it and charged a very fair price. He'll be our family plumber going forward.

Really appreciated Kim coming out on short notice and figuring out what was causing my yard to fill with 1000s of gallons during a recent thunderstorm. A whiffle ball stuck in the drain - could have been really bad. Now at least I have a chance not to flood the house. Thanks again Kim!

After the city did some sort of "cleaning" of the main sewer line we had a back up. We called the city and they came out but said it "wasn't them"... sigh... it was a Friday night right before Christmas and all I could think was shelling out a bunch of money for snaking/flushing and possibly repairs at the holidays with company coming in just a week . I put out a few quote requests on yelp and got a few responses but Kim was quick and very detailed. He came the next morning, explained to my husband everything he saw on his camera and was super thorough. It takes a LOT to impress my husband and he was super impressed with Kim's work and how much information he provided. We would recommend him to anyone who needed any work done, he's defiantly a great plumber
