We had broken pipes due to a freeze a few years back and Rick totally price gauged us cause he new we needed the pipes fixed quickly to get the water back up and running. He was also very rude. We will never use him again. I usually check yelp first but he was sent to us from the Home Warranty company. It ended up that nothing was covered and he totally took advantage or our desperate situation.

I would love to thank Rick for doing such great work at an honest and very affordable price for my mom Beverly. She and my Dad have used his services in the past and it's because of his excellent workmanship and very fair costs that she only wanted to have his help again. Thank you Rick for being an outstanding professional and having the passion for the service you provide.

Wow! Great service, professional and very friendly.
We had a guy from a different company come out to repair two showers. One that we couldn't stop from leaking and another that had a seized handle.
We were told it was basically gonna cost a ton of money to fix and also have to repair our wall/walls afterwards.
Rick knew what was wrong and had everything fixed within an hour. No demo to our walls were needed. Simple fix on both showers.
I would definitely recommend Rick! Very knowledgeable and very friendly.

I dont know why the people who gave Rick a bad review can see that the real problem is the warranty company and not Drain-Aid Pluming. I have had to deal with different warranty companies and losts of bad service providers to know that Rick is 100% honest. Most company will send out Russian companies that are paid a incentive to exclude coverage but with rick you get 100% all american know how and honesty. Rick went above and beond to get my problem fixed and was very courteous

I am happy with my home insurance...we got a new water heater! It's the workmanship that sucked! He left trash in my backyard..refuses to come back and fix his mess...didn't replace the hose and charged us 95 for straps when we had new ones! Didn't let us inspect it and left no receipt...he was upset we refused to pay 95 for haul away...I could hear them talking about it...not good! The new plumber coming was so nice on the phone can't wait to give him business!!

Ditto on all the other one star reviews. Actually that is one star too many. This man was late, unprofessional, obnoxious, incompetent and then refused to do the job unless I paid him more money in addition to what the home warranty company was going to give him. I have no idea why or how the man is still in business.

I wish I had read these reviews prior to having Rick come out. He was sent by my home warranty company like many of the other contributors because of problems with my tankless water heaters. Unprofessional to say the least. I have never been spoken to by a contractor in the manner in which he addressed me. Thank goodness I did not let him get into the service call too deep. I will happily take cold showers until Monday when my normal, reputable plumber is available.

Beware of this guy Rick. He wanted to tear up my foundation and kitchen to replace a broken pipe and as it turns out Anthony's plumbing came and cleared it. It was just grease build up. $10,000 saved thanks to Anthony's plumbing.

Old Republic home warranty sent Therese clowns out. Bad would be an understatement. He did unauthorized work and the demanded payment and said do we have a problem, I'll sue you to which I replied bring it on. Well then he reduce his bill by 50% cause he really needed the money. Old republic and Ricky's Drain Aid both cut from the same cloth.

Now, this guy was a real peach. First I asked Robert, the owner of Drain Aid Plumbing, Crestline to remove only a water softener; the charge was $200 (wow). I authorized the work and Rick proceeded to perform. Then, while we were in bible study (at our home), he showed up and said the work was completed. When I went down to inspect the work, I found that he had not only removed my softener, but he also removed my whole house filtration system. When I reiterated my original request (of only having the softener removed), he stated that he must have misunderstood me. He then told me that it wasn't really his fault and that it would cost an additional $200 to re-plumb the whole house filter. It is obvious that I'm either dealing with complete incompetence or a criminal, or both! I told him to reinstall the filter or he wasn't getting paid so he decided to argue with me that it wasn't his fault. I'm not sure whose fault it was, but it certainly wasn't mine; I'm not ""licensed"" plumber, though I know much more than this guy. I then told him to remove himself from my property and he can sue me to get his $200 (the original CRIMINAL cost to remove the softener).
Upon inspection of the room he was working in, the following was noted:
1) All of my copper tubing and valves were stolen by this plumber (will file a police report)
2) Two leaks from cross-threaded connections he created on the main line.
I would advise against using this unprofessional criminal. Rick at Drain Aid Plumbing will only cause you grief and by the looks of him, most like steal from you.
