These guys had no idea what they were doing and left a complete mess after they had finished. Turns out that they were also the cause of an even larger gas leak than the one they started out with. This was only discovered when the Gas Co came back out the following day to leak-check our new gas line and found that the riser they ran up into our home was leaking like a sieve in one of the fusion connections. The following day Frassica Plumbing (Zach) came to our rescue and redid the fusion pipe riser coming into our home and also taped over the pipe coming into the meter box that had been scarred from their pipe wrenches.

I was in need of a new toilet since cracks were appearing and spreading, which is pretty scary. I called Downey Plumbing at about 12:00pm on a Thursday, was told they could have someone out for an estimate between 1-5pm. Shortly after 1pm, Joshua arrived and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided an estimate and alternatives, I agreed, and by 3pm I had a brand new shiny Kohler toilet installed and ready to use. Joshua answered all my questions, checked a couple of other areas I had concerns about, and explained everything thoroughly and kindly.
I have had Downey Plumbing out several times over the years for plumbing issues, and have never been disappointed. Always great work, and special thanks to Joshua for the latest much-needed ""throne""! :-)

Downey Plumbing was called out to my house for a hot water heater repair, they took one look at my hot water heater without an evaluation or a diagnostic
And informed me that it was unrepairable and that I will have to get a brand new unit for a cost of $1500, I then contacted Moreno Plumbling 310 927 8829 they repaired my Hot Water Heater for a cost of $180.00,, Downey Plumbing is a major rip off do not use their services . I repeat do not use their services they are a major rip off

Worst decision I ever made to hire Downey plumbing I feel so bad for my self being fooled by Downey plumbing into wasting thousands of dollars in repairs.Does not take responsibility for work done

My insurance company sent Downey Plumbing to repair a leak, the technician arrived within the hour and told me I had 2 feet of water under my house that must be extracted before he could fix the leak. I called a company called Dry Down and their technician arrived within the hour and after going under my house he also told me I had 2 feet of water under my house that had to be removed immediately and be inspected for mold. He quoted me $3000 to remove the water and place fans under the house to dry the dirt, after the technician left I called another plumber. He arrived later in the afternoon and repaired the leak in a hour, there was no standing water and he charged me $250 to repair the leak. I believe Downey Plumbing and Dry Down work together to rip off customers and Insurance Companies, always get other opinions especially if you call Downey Plumbing.

Thank you Downey Plumbing for a superb job led by Clay Prats. It is impossible to put into words how wonderful it was to work with Clay, Eliseo Diaz and Johnathon Santana. They were all very professional, conscientious, polite and very patient with my questions. They cleaned up the area every day before they left. It was a huge job, 220' to be exact and uphill. Clay and his team had to work with hard clay soil, tree roots and managed to spare my sprinkler pipes. They couldn't have been more pleasant, always smiling. I will highly recommend Downey Plumbing and will be calling with any future plumbing problems. Hopefully I'll be able to get Clay and his team. Thank you, job well done young men, you were superb!!!

We had beeeeen trying to get my mom to get central air and heating (HVAC system)...at least an updated one. Finally, she relented and called Cal Water to inquire about her home warranty on the AC and heating. She needed the AC fixed before that trusty California heat hit. Cal Water uses Downey Plumbing for plumbing and HVAC. They sent a work order to Downey Plumbing who contacted my mom to set up a time to come and assess her system. Upon assessment, they advised her that the system she had was too old...it had been installed a year after I graduated from high school! Yikes! Definitely time for a new system. Unfortunately, Cal Water only covered repairs, not a replacement system.

My mom decided to go on and have the whole thing replaced. Juan, the installer came out on 03/03 and 03/04 to replace the system. They were originally scheduled to come a day earlier, but due to a family emergency, they needed to reschedule. They were very professional and let us know ahead of time, which was not a problem, at all. They came on time over a two day period. They installed the heater first on Tuesday and then came on Wednesday to install the AC. Each day, they said what they were working on and after installation, they went through the whole system to make sure that she understood everything.

She's very pleased with the results and they also cleaned up everything after they finished. This was a fantastic company to work with!

Hired Downey Plumbing to help me with an improperly installed stove that came with my new home and I'm glad I did!

Using simple terms Tyler explained what was happening, what he'd do to fix it, and how much it would cost. He worked quickly but carefully, even swept up the dust under my stove before considering the job done.
