Very polite on the phone. I was disappointed when Doug did not show up as he promised. The next day however, he texted ""I'm in Lemoore. If you want me to come by I need to hear back from you in 5 minutes or I'm headed back to Fresno. ""
Rude! No apology for not coming the evening before.
When he arrived no hello he just grunted.
Went in through the attic opening. Some how I ended up with a huge hole in my ceiling. He says he sat his flashlight down .
Funny in all that rubbish there was no flash light in it
I think he stepped on my ceiling. He said he would put in a claim to have my ceiling repaired. He didn't . When I called he said I fixed your leak I'm done . Wow!

Long story short if you value communication, liability, and on time appointments do not use them. They are polite but that does not get the total job done.

I would give 0 stars if the system would let me. The initial service call seemed to go well. Then we never saw them again. First American Home Warrantee assigned Doug Parks to us for our water heater & faucet leaks. After 2 months of countless phone calls to Doug Parks business number & cell number we never got any phone calls back. I even emailed a copy of the contract I have that shows the repairs should have been covered. They would have fixed it if i paid them 800.00 out of pocket even though it was covered per my contract that I provided to them. After complaining to FAHW they text me that Doug Parks would be there 6/23/23 between 1:30 and 6:00. Doug Parks never showed up & I once again tried to call the business line & the cell number with no answer or return call. Totally unprofessional & sincerely believe they use their FAHW contact to try and scam you out of more money.

STAY AWAY from this company.
Horrible company...don't hire.
Poor scheduling, phone services, customer services and plumbing knowledge- Read below.

Thursday-
Property was on schedule for Thurs 12noon for a broken kitchen sink drainage pipe.
Around 3:45pm to 4pm- no one showed up, I called the company multiple times and no one pick up. All calls goes straight to voicemail and voicemail is FULL. No CALL No SHOW for the day.
Note: Took half day from work.

Later on that night at 10pm, I received a text that my appointment was re-schedule to Friday 12noon.

Friday-
Friday- Again, no call no show. Around 7:11pm, I received another text- job has been re-schedule to Sat 12noon (like I don't need my weekend, plus why would I give up my weekend when they missed their 2 business day appointment). I told them NO! I'll see them Mon 12noon. They confirm appointment.
Note: Wife took half day from work.

Monday-
Monday comes along, 12noon no one show up or called.
Late 5pm, the father Doug came out.
Goes under my crawl space and cut the wrong drainage line (bathroom). SMH! FML! Bunch of Rookies!!.
Note: Took half day from work.

They ending fixing the broken Kitchen drainage pipe (which was the initial problem) and then planned to leave the bathroom pipe- they partial cut for the next appointment- like I was gonna let that happen.
I firmly told them to fix it. They weren't too happy about fixing it.
I was NOT gonna wait for another appointment and deal with the headaches again.

I CAN'T believe the ordeal I have to go thru to fix a kitchen drainage pipe.

VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL company!!

Stay away, read all these reviews, they're exactly right! This company sucks and very unprofessional. They don't have any idea whos doing what. They make excuses and scam insurance companies out of their money. I gave them two weeks to get back to me and never did. I'm with out hot water!!! BEWARE OF THEM. STAY AWAY!

If I could give them negative star review I would. Negative -100 stars. Had a leak they cut a hole in my ceiling, said there was black mold said they would come back and do the repairs. They miss appointment after appointment coming back to fix the hole they made. Good luck trying to get ahold of them, they won't return your calls. American home shield should be embarrassed they contract these people because looking at the reviews this has been going on a long time.

Doug Parks and Son Plumbing is the worst plumbing company I have ever had to deal with. I put one star because I wouldn't be able to post this review without putting something. They don't return calls. When they don't show up for appointments, they don't even call to let the customer know. They tell you they're going to call you back but don't. No common courtesy or good business practices. As another reviewer had comment: their work is subpar.

If I could give them 0 stars it would be 0. We have a serious flood and leak and contacted this company. They said they would show up on a Monday afternoon so I took a half day at work and they never showed up. Never re contacted me or anything. Worst service and will never use this company
