Stay away, read all these reviews, they're exactly right! This company sucks and very unprofessional. They don't have any idea whos doing what. They make excuses and scam insurance companies out of their money. I gave them two weeks to get back to me and never did. I'm with out hot water!!! BEWARE OF THEM. STAY AWAY!

If I could give them negative star review I would. Negative -100 stars. Had a leak they cut a hole in my ceiling, said there was black mold said they would come back and do the repairs. They miss appointment after appointment coming back to fix the hole they made. Good luck trying to get ahold of them, they won't return your calls. American home shield should be embarrassed they contract these people because looking at the reviews this has been going on a long time.

Doug Parks and Son Plumbing is the worst plumbing company I have ever had to deal with. I put one star because I wouldn't be able to post this review without putting something. They don't return calls. When they don't show up for appointments, they don't even call to let the customer know. They tell you they're going to call you back but don't. No common courtesy or good business practices. As another reviewer had comment: their work is subpar.

If I could give them 0 stars it would be 0. We have a serious flood and leak and contacted this company. They said they would show up on a Monday afternoon so I took a half day at work and they never showed up. Never re contacted me or anything. Worst service and will never use this company

Came to my house said my water heater need replacement.
Never seen or hurd from him again. 30 plus calls to him the Ownet Doug Parks. 10 Texts, 29 calls to his office.
I just fired him.
Don't waste your time.

We were concerned when our insurance assigned our water heater replacement with Doug because of the poor reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. Stephanie was prompt to respond. Doug worked with the insurance to get the job done promptly before Memorial Day Weekend. We have hot water and are grateful to Doug Parks.

The service request was through my home warranty, AHS. A contractor showed up a week after the request was filed. They inspected the leak and temperature regulator on a shower head. He took pictures and was going to come back with the parts, etc. it's been over 6 weeks and running and not an update from the contractor. I called Doug Parks as well as AHS and getting the run around at this point.

Due to the bad reviews I was worried about getting a quick response and reliable repair for my water heater but this company responded quickly after my home warranty company contacted them on a Friday morning. I was told that Doug could come by the very next day to troubleshoot. Stephanie then called me later and said that Doug could make it to my house that same evening. I was ecstatic because I had been out of hot water for 8 days already due to a fiasco with the original company AHS used, City Plumbing. Zero stars for them. Doug diagnosed the problem and got the repair approved and ordered the part. Being the weekend didn't help time-wise for getting the part but Doug's son, Robert, had my water heater up and running 3 days later. I will definitely call Doug Parks & Son for other plumbing needs. Great people!
