I have been a customer before and called the company to come back as I have a new leak. They would not come out on a SUNDAY said they were busy- I booked it for the next day at 4 they called me at 430 and said they got held up and wanted me to wait another 24 hours - leaking faucet they didn't care. I rescheduled for today at 8 am and I received a call "" it will not be less than 100 dollars"" I was appalled and told them How can you call me and tell me that after I asked how much it would be--I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and I will give a bad review so other people do not have to go through what happened to me. I watch my money and I asked how much it would be and they said they could not tell me how much it was to fix a leak. Bad customer service especially if they want business, they beed to let us know what things will cost instead of just making us pay for a trip charge then billing us whatever they feel. They are a bad rude company and I will never use the again and either should you!

I have never had a better experience with an HVAC company that with Dave (technician) his partner, and the entire Dr Fix It process and staff. It was my first time having them to my house, and they are my forever hvac company. I am not affiliated in any way with them. This review is unsolicited and based on my personal experience

Wow! They came to do a routine furnace check-up and quoted me over $5367 in repairs but suggested I needed a new furnace altogether. Our second opinion quoted $0 in repairs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The front office and billing personnel are terrible. I paid for duct cleaning when I had heater maintenance done, then was billed another $200+ to my checking account, then they tried to Bill me another $30. These two charges were not authorized but had to get my bank involved. And when the Tech set up my duct cleaning appointment, was given a date for Saturday, however I just received a text saying they'd show up tomorrow between noon and 10 pm. When I called back for clarification, needing the appt to be moved to Saturday or after 4 pm on Friday, was told they don't do duct cleaning on Saturdays and 4pm is too late for them. Now why did they text me one set of hours (noon to 10pm), when they can't work that late. This has happened frequently over the past 5 yrs since I paid them to install new furnace and water heater. The Techs are great but the business office is poor. I would not recommend using them.

This is hands down the worst company in Denver, I know because I had them replace my AC/ Heater and then had them come out and try and fix a small pipe leak in my bathroom- Long story short- they FLOODED my entire first and second floor of my house !!!!(not connected to the bathroom in question) The Plumber overflowed my laundry room and then asked me ""if i had any towels"" to clean up the major flooding on the first AND second floor (it went through the first floor lights and vents). it took 6 TOWELS, 3 BATHROBES, and 2 KING SIZE SHEETS to clean up the mess. He then told me ASBESTOS was NO BIG DEAL as they cut into it in my ceiling and LEFT ME with the mess, and then tried to blame the whole situation on me, despite the plethora of evidence (videos, reports, recorded phone calls etc) pointing to the plumber in question. They then sent a SHADY mitigation company to pick up the pieces that wasn't even associated with them and told me to start a claim with my insurance even though it was the PLUMBER who flooded my entire house by accident- the plumber even told me the company would open the claim and then conveniently had amnesia after the fact. These people will come to your house to fix a small leak and will leave your house with extreme water damage and in shambles!!!! dont be like me, DO NOT TRUST THEM!

After explaining everything at the time of arrival of the service they said they do not do multi-family unit heater fix. He was sorry about the person who takes the call to get appointment is not familiar with what they can do and they can't. I spoke to office and she sorry and manager will call - and of course to my expectation no call received. wasted my 30 hours waiting for them and end up saying no to service.

Do not hire this company!! Had them out after our water heater stopped working. The man that came which I would only describe as a salesman, told me we needed a new water heater and a new pressure valve because our pressure was 110 and should only be 75. He quoted me more than 4K but offered a good discount for $3900. I didn't know better and said ok.

Luckily!!! I called my dad and he was livid. He told me that the actual water heater should only be $400-500 and the work should never be $3500. I then called another independent company that came and did all the work for 1/3 of the price I was quoted by this company. They also found that I didn't need a pressure valve. Our pressure was 70 and perfect.

How do these companies stay in business?! They are horrible.

I Called Dr. Fix (Denver) on one of the hottest days of the year (July 17) with a broken air conditioner. I was able to get an appt on Thursday (July 18) between 0800-1000am . I explained that I needed to be to work 200pm. I was told that there would be no problem getting a technician there. Thursday morning at 730 I received a call and was told that the technician needed to return to a call from the previous day and that his arrival time would have to be pushed back to 1000-1200. When I explained my situation I was told I could reschedule for another day if I wanted to. Reluctantly I had to keep the appt because I have 4 dogs in my house (2 of mine and 2 that I am watching) and I knew they needed to have air conditioning. The technician did show up by 915. The technician (Michael Lombritto) asked what was wrong and I stated that the air conditioner stopped working yesterday.
After completing his diagnosis of my system, he said that the blower motor on the furnace was burned out and the condenser motor on the compressor was leaking oil and needed to be replaced. His estimate included the two motors, a universal contactor, a cleaning of the duct work, a complete cleaning of the of the blower system, a membership into their monthly maintenance membership which includes: an inspection of my complete electrical system, a complete inspection of my plumbing system (including a flush of the hot water tank), a once a year inspection and tune up of the heater and air conditioner, and membership into their monthly membership for a total price of $2498.14 .
Since I needed to air conditioner fixed for my dogs I agreed to the estimate. The technician then called the office to schedule the duct cleaning, plumbing and electrical inspections and the cleaning of the blower system. I was asked if Wed July 24, 2019 between 0800-1000 would work for the plumbing, electrical and blower cleaning. I said that I would was working that day but made arrangements to secure the day off from employer (I had to take the day off and he hired someone in place). The technician then proceeded to find to parts at two local supply houses and said that he would return shortly after retrieving the parts and complete the repairs.
The technician returned around 1215 and stated making the repairs. During this time, he was on the phone most of the time talking to someone (I assumed his wife or girl friend since he said I Love when hung up). The repairs were completed, and the system was checked and found to be repaired at approx. 130pm. While looking over the work done, I found a nut missing on top of the condenser unit. When I asked about that the technician stated that he did indeed shear off a nut but he said that he tightened the other three nuts down and stated that the system was secure enough but that if I wanted I could go to home depot or lowes and buy a nut myself to fix the issue - at this point I wasn't that concerned about the nut and figured I could repair that and some other time since I needed to be at work at 200pm.
Today July 24th at 730 I received a phone call from DR Fix It saying that they had several plumbing emergencies that needed to complete and that my appt would need to be rescheduled for another day. When I explained that I had taken the day off to get the service done I was asked by the lady from Dr Fix It why I just could go work today and reschedule for another day. When I again explained that my employer had change my schedule and already had someone else scheduled, the response from Dr Fix It was we have an opening on Friday this week and any day next week. It was like she didn't comprehend that I had already imposed on my employer to have my schedule changed and someone else was inconvenienced to cover my schedule.
After this issue came up today, I started checking into the repairs and parts that I was supplied. I was charged $846.09 for the universal blower fan motor. I was able to find a Fasco motor from Grainger for $122.48 or a Genteq motor also from Grainger for $179.19 (1/3 HP 3 speed motor). Both motors are a substitute blower motor for my system. This was found by searching the serial number of the old motor. I was also able to find 1/6 hp condenser motor from Grainger for $285.00. I was charged by Dr Fix It $846.09 (imagine that - two different motors, two different HP's but the exact same price from Dr. Fix It). I was able to find a price range for the universal contactor from grainger anywhere from $19.00-$50.00. I do not have the exact part number to reference but I was charged $206.58 from Dr. Fix It.
I believe that I was over charged by almost 2.5 times for the repairs on my air conditioner. Just goes to show you should always research any company completely before choosing one! If I would have just read all the complaints on the company I should have thought twice before using them!

Scheduled an appointment with this company to get an estimate for a new air conditioner. After they rescheduled me and were incredibly late for the rescheduled appointment I should have seen the red flags. When he told me he couldn't do the estimate without my husband present (a bold and insulting assumption this day-and-age), I became incredibly frustrated and told him that I was the decision maker (as I told the person on the phone when I scheduled the appointment) he refused to proceed and I kindly asked him to leave. This was after the technician bad mouthed other air-condition companies for being unprofessional. A total waste of a day waiting around for this company, who in my opinion is completely unprofessional and archaic. In my opinion they clearly want to do the high pressure sales tactic to convince the decision makers or the husbands to make a decision on the spot.

DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. Not only are their costs higher than compeitors in the area, they use high-pressure sales tactics and provide false information to ""sell"" more to their clients. They are not trust worthy and do not do their due diligence before telling you what you need to do/spend with them to get it up and running.

We had someone come out 1 day and service our AC since it seemed to not be working. The guy who came wasn't EPA certified so he couldn't even complete the work he was claiming was needed. We also overheard him on the phone telling someone he ""sold another fan"". Definitely don't appreciate the language he decided to use.

The next day when he returns with another coworker, they decide to tell me that I now need a TXV valve replaced and doing so would increase my estimate to $2,800 (from ~$1,500), and at that point I should consider replacing my unit. I told them to please stop the work they were planning on doing so we can decide what to do next. They then stayed in my house for 5-10 minutes longer trying to call a supervisor over to my house ASAP so they could sell me the new unit. They were trying to pressure me into staying home so they could come over, and then requested that my husband and I both be present for the conversation. They eventually did leave....

Then I had a more reputable company come by and low and behold, OUR UNIT DOESNT EVEN HAVE A TXV valve! Unbelievable. Glad we didn't give this company any more of our business and have now found someone we can actually trust.
